I decided to stop by this barbershop for the first time a couple of days ago and it was truly a 10/10 experience. Prior to my haircut, I hadn't been to a barber for 3 months due to covid-19 concerns and a horrible haircut from my last barber. I found Dorian on Instagram and it was one of the better experiences that I've ever had with a barber. It was super easy to book with him for an appointment. After I did so I got confirmation right away as well as a follow-up text before my appointment. He was very intentional about being sure that he fully understood what I wanted from a cut. It helped that he was incredibly skilled with the clippers. The cuts in the shop are reasonably priced. It is easy to submit payment via squire. In fact, I received a text in advance of my appointment encouraging me to pay to avoid germs from cash exchange. Lastly, I'd be remiss if I didn't highlight the shop itself. The shop was so aesthetically pleasing. It was almost spotless. Even the barber's personal stations were pretty organized. Bonus: Would definitely be the safety precautions they are taking for covid-19. All of the barbers had on masks. They had individual partitions in between each barber/client. this haircut is going to ruin my life for the next 5-6 months. I lost all of my volume. I lost the ENTIRE BACKSIDE of my head. he couldn't find my hairline in the back so he just decided take it to the back of my skull. I simply wanted a low taper with a burst fade look in the back, and I said "if you can't find can't my hairline in the back just go low and edge it up." I didn't realize the terrible job he had done until it was too late. please never go here especially if your seeing Dorian. it says he's a master barber but then he goes and ruins my life for the next half year. read more

Tried this shop for the first time yesterday. Nate gave me a full head shave and beard trim. The barbering was excellent in every way and I left looking and feeling great. These guys are the real deal. What a difference that Dorian was, he asked a few questions then just took over. He gained my trust immediately after we realized that even though I've gotten the same cut for 10 years it was actually dozens of different cuts because dozens of people had cut it. I had a problem with it sticking up in the back and instead of cutting it shorter he let it grow out and by my second cut the problem was fixed. Awesome crew, get in here! read more

My dad is 87 and his regular barber injured his back, so I suggested this place as it was nearby and had good reviews. When my father returned, he stated that he was in the chair for only 15 minutes - when he should have had a full 30 minutes - as booked. A good barber would have trimmed the eyebrows, clipped the neck area and those stray ear hairs, and done a good job removing the cut hairs from the clothing with a brush and/or a hairdryer. None of this was done. Now if you consider that my father has only a monk's tonsure of hair - I can't imagine what the barber did for those 15 minutes as even the "haircut" has random long hairs sticking out. And for $21.00 plus tax and a tip - prepaid. He will not be returning to this shop. read more

WELL, I can't say I ever thought I'd find myself in a barber shop, BUT, here we are. I shaved part of my head. Well, Dave did. I was feeling ballsy so naturally I contacted Dave. He's the best. Jon is awesome, too, obviously as his name is the business. Everyone is friendly and focused on what they're doing. The shop itself is tucked back on Delaware. It is probably one of the cutest places I've ever seen. I'm sure the men don't appreciate me calling it cute, but it's classy as fuck, if that helps. It's a very intimate setting and they have a TV, music playing, and benches in a little waiting area. There are 4 barbers here and from what I have seen they're all top notch. They are awesome at what they do and because of that, they are busy, so do yourself (and them) a favour and make an appointment. I did not realize that my hair would grow back as quickly as it did, so I'll probably be back here every couple weeks. Shout out to you dudes who get your hair and beard maintained, I'm used to not getting my hair cut for a couple years...not anymore! Also-if you're a girl and considering shaving your head, go to a barber. Not only are they better at it than a salon, but it won't cost you a million dollars, which is insane. Tip well. So one day I decided to shave the back of my head and came here. This place is a bit hidden from the street on Delaware so keep your eyes out when looking for it! When you walk in you are greeted by a friendly, fluffy little dog in a sweater, shes the owners champion poodle....Whatever, she's cute and you should give her some love because that's all any dog wants. You are also greeted by a room full of men who are all conversing with one another. I felt good vibes, so far so good! This place is small, however, it is a barber and that is expected. There is a nice little area to sit and wait with a mini fridge of pop, water and juice, along with a large TV and plenty of hooks on the wall to hang your coat. I came here because of a fellow Yelper enjoys her visits here and the work they do. I was able to show the barber a photo of what i was looking to do and he was able to deliver. He seemed a bit nervous when moving my hair around and putting it up. Obviously these men are not use to working with woman's hair, I found it entertaining to be honest and kept telling him not to be scared to pull it or move it around. :P I'm looking forward to going back and eventually changing it up again down the line. It was certainly a drastic change for me but one I do not regret! Side note, this place is cash only so come prepared! read more

Why? 1) Every barber at the Tonawanda location ALWAYS delivers. They're all very personable, talented, professional dudes.
