I just paid a bill for $697.00 for a storage unit of 10 x25. The orignal move in rate was approximately $299. 4 years ago. Their late fee policy is 20% or $20. "whichever is higher," so $104.00 for paying my storage 17 days late. Wow. Then the real kicker: The storage went up $67.00 per month to $520.00. (They actually have the audacity to state 35% discount on the bill) I called the store manager and advised of the multitude of people all over the internet complaining about these business practices. I am moving out and I am filing a Complaint with Connecticut Consumer Affairs and with the BBB.

We kept our things here for a year while we looked for a house and we never had trouble accessing the unit or getting help when needed. They have tons of handcarts to assist with moving and supplies if you need them. If I ever need storage in New Haven, this needs to be your first and only stop!
