This is the worst storage experience I have ever had. I have decided to leave this facility and to…read morefile a complaint with consumer affairs. I just paid a bill for $697.00 for a storage unit of 10 x25. The orignal move in rate was approximately $299. 4 years ago. Their late fee policy is 20% or $20. "whichever is higher," so $104.00 for paying my storage 17 days late. Wow. Then the real kicker: The storage went up $67.00 per month to $520.00. (They actually have the audacity to state 35% discount on the bill) I called the store manager and advised of the multitude of people all over the internet complaining about these business practices. I am moving out and I am filing a Complaint with Connecticut Consumer Affairs and with the BBB.
