Wow. Wow is all I can say about DJ Avi Sills. My husband and I got married in Palm Springs, CA…read morelast month and everyone was raving about our DJ. I reached out to him because I needed someone good. Someone who knows how to throw a wicked party and could hook me up with headphones for a "Silent" reception, a creative spin on what would have been a dull, noise restricted venue in Palm Springs. It was a hit. Avi was so professional, so kind and always came through on any request. For the future brides out there I cannot recommend him enough. Thank you so very much.

Located in the Korean district…read moreof Los Angeles, it has a great foyer for check ins, and two rooms for hosting, one for staging a small ensemble of musicians, and another for a reception. The staff (especially Leah) made the whole detox thing feel oddly comforting -- gentle, calming, and weirdly hopeful instead of clinical or scary. Whatever session I did -- with watery cleansing, gentle body‑works or that "let's reset your organs" vibe -- I left feeling lighter, calmer and weirdly proud of my insides for once. Even my brunch the next day tasted like a triumphant comeback instead of "why did I even bother." The place feels clean and welcoming, not the kind of "alternative spa cult" you hear horror stories about. Instead, it's more like a cozy hideaway for your gut, body and energy -- where the healing feels real, and you leave wondering if your digestive system just whispered "thank you." If you've been thinking about doing something wild for your gut -- this place might just be the gentle, slightly magical jolt your insides needed.

The staff were very friendly and got us checked in and told us it was open seating. The theater was large and spacious and there was plenty of seating to choose from. Despite being an older theater, the seats were still pretty comfortable. It was a free show and it was a dance company primarily performing hip hop and Latin dance. The quality of the show was superb and the sound quality was also fantastic as the music really took over the space. It was easy to see everything going on. Afterwards, they had a chance to interact with the dancers in their gorgeous lobby and outdoor space. I would highly recommend attending their Sunday programming!

I am a second year member of the Ebell and attended their 2026 women's history month annual event…read morelast Thursday. It ran between 9 AM and 3 PM. So this review is more for that event but the venue is definitely a five star venue, but I wanna talk about the event just because it was amazing. They had speakers throughout the whole day talking about history of women's efforts in Los Angeles from learning about the central public library to architects trying to break into a male dominated world, and of course, fashion. It was an amazing day learning about all these different aspects of Los Angeles life. I even heard about one group's efforts to write the story of Madame Wong's effort in the Early, LA hard-core punk rock days something that's actually near and dear to me since I loved punk rock talking about bands like black flag, The Circle Jerks, social distortion, channel 3, adolescents, Alice Bag band, Vandals all these great bands. Anyway, the Ebell is a women's group that needs to be supported, embraced and loved as it provides an amazing service for the women of Los Angeles

This would be very nice for dancing or a cocktail area. The inside isn't as nice. It is actually an old smog shoppe and so if you're having a formal affair (like a formal wedding), this will feel off. The bathrooms especially give this a more casual, chain restaurant feeling. The neighborhood isn't great but if you come for any event, it's very likely there will be valet parking. That is the ONLY way to do it. Absolutely worth looking at if you're doing a work meeting, conference, rehearsal dinner or something where a more relaxed, artsy feel is in order.
