Mezza catered: lovely presentation of the dishes and very easy to serve!

This review is for the catering. We ordered catering for our Christmas Eve party and it didn't disappoint. Working with Haik was a breeze, he was very helpful when it came to deciding the menu. The food was on time when we went to pick it up. The family style catering was a great choice. We had plenty of food to go around per person and the presentation was just beautiful. I particularly loved the mezza, as the options were plentiful and all delicious. The hot food was also very good. I enjoyed the kebobs a lot and found that they all had a ton of flavor. Overall, very happy with the service!

In order for anyone to get a refund they are requesting you sign a document (see attached) which states you can't 1. Sue them and 2. You can't post a bad review. The beauty is - I didn't have to sign it - so I'll post it for you all to review and realize you don't need to sign this to get a refund for your event. Do NOT do business with these people - poor customer service, poor experience for event planning, poor response. Let's see if this get approved to be posted or if Anoush can pay Yelp off to have it removed.

    Chicken sandwich and wings. Bomb!

It sat vacant for a few years and briefly reopened as a performing arts space in 2013 but was forced to shut down. After being declared a historic monument, it underwent a complete renovation by new owners in 2015. The building changed hands again in 2023 and functions as an event center and a shared common workspace. This three-story venue has rooms upstairs. Downstairs is the main room with lofty ceilings, large windows, wood floors, a kitchen, bathrooms, and a stage for a DJ or live bands. Downstairs is a speakeasy style bar and the backyard is also a nice spot for an outdoor reception. I've driven by this place numerous times thinking it was just a church. I recently saw that there was a Holiday Market Place being held here so I stopped in to do some shopping. There was a man on the front lawn making pupusas and people sitting at tables enjoying them. Inside is quite spacious and there were several vendors selling their merchandise. The tables were nicely spaced apart, so it was easy to browse. This realty is a nice spot for an event or to use as a shared workspace. *Street parking only.

CRATES. they barely had any garbage disposals for us to clean. main thing was the workers under the company look lazy and rude. if we didn't clean, they would keep the deposit. I don't think a reception of that size would be overlooked by the host and simply wasn't disclosed that significant detail. for the price of a different venue with all services for cleanup, seems like it's better to go somewhere else. plus, no parking and it's only street. interesting space but pass.

And if you're looking for a unique event space, the center offers beautiful indoor and outdoor facilities for weddings, conferences, and other special occasions. I recently attended their Family Day, which was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon and explore the area.
