What a fantastic experience! The atmosphere was whimsical and relaxing. Service was exceptional. I loved that we learned about the building's rich history and had a tour of the gorgeous music room. The food was absolutely delightful and was like an adventure for our taste buds from start to finish. The tea was so delicious that my mother and I cannot wait to visit again soon.

We had a wonderful afternoon here. The food was wonderful and they atmosphere was so unique. The tea was good but the sandwiches and scones were beyond delicious. We celebrated our friend and the upcoming birth of her baby. We were all impressed by the experience. We will be back.

I go to tea rooms often. This one is probably the biggest and best ones I've ever been to! The home itself is Victorian and beautiful! Bobbi was a great host and prepared delicious food. I don't like potatoes but her potato leek soup was soooooo goood! We're still thinking about it and we were there days ago. She added some things that aren't typical in traditional teas which was nice. I will for sure be back the next time I'm in Atlantic City. Side note: she also has a really cute private room available for two. Perfect for special occasions like anniversary's.

If you are looking for an elegant, personalized, 5 star treatment tea party in Ocean County The Lizzie Rose is the place to be! Great place for "girls day" brunch/lunch but also can enjoy a romantic evening with your significant other in the upstairs tower or even a host bridal/baby shower! The options are endless in such a huge Victorian home (to the eye of a 4.5 year old- "are we in a castle?!") The pictures do not do it justice and the exceptional treatment by the owner and waitresses were incredible. The tea menu was outstanding - offering hot and cold, still providing the true TEA PARTY experience. The tiers of mini sandwiches and pastries were to die for, offering an adult 3 tier (corn beef, roast beef, cucumber sandwiches, chicken salad) and a child (including all of the above AND heart shaped PB&J, ham and cheese, fresh strawberry and creme cheese- you name it , it was there) The atmosphere and food were delightful - you will not leave hungry. Don't forget the gift shop! If you are looking for a special gift to bring home to mom, grandma, sister, aunt, daughter, you will find beautiful tea sets and fine china for sale in the front of their shop. Along with the ever so wonderful "brunch hats" and many other items to make your experience even more memorable. Grab your girls, your SO's, your well behaved toddlers and little adults and check this place out. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful room for all kinds of intimate parties and gatherings.

You will not find a more beautifully restored building anywhere in the area. It is gorgeous. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming and full of local stories. The gift shop has a lot of unique items that are great for gifts. I had tea there with some friends. It was delicious and lots of fun. This is a hidden gem in Tuckerton.

Stopped on a Sunday on our way north from AC. The latte was amazing and my husband said his coffee…read morewas good too. I had the Green Day bowl. It was just okay. I wasn't overwhelmed. The avacado was very brown once I got to it and that turned me off. The eggs were just okay. I will say the potato chunks on the bottom were nice and crispy and probably my favorite part of the dish. Not sure we'd stop again on our way through, but maybe for coffee.

I want to make this update to give one of the owners, Erin, a shout out. She reached out to me…read moreafter reading my review and I can tell she took it seriously. We had an honest conversation and she assured me that they will be addressing the behavior and working towards preventing these kinds of issues in the future. She did not ask me to take down my previous review or make this update. All she did was take accountability for her staff, tried to get to the bottom of it, and looked to remedy the situation. This is truly an example how a business owner should behave and so kudos to you! I can tell from our interaction that she takes pride in her business and wants everyone to enjoy their time there. Although I still stand by my last review, I also want to edit my statement that I would never go back. I would give them a second try if I'm ever back in the area just based on how this situation was handled by management. Hoping that changes can be made positively in regard to service so it could match up with food/drinks and overall ambiance.
