This is my absolute favorite local breakfast spot to eat at. The establishment is always so clean and the staff are great! Today I tried the Deluxe Bacon Cheeseburger with Lettuce,Tomato,Onion, and Bacon. If you get the Deluxe it comes with crispy French fries and coleslaw. I asked for medium well but it came out well done. It was good. A little dry but I ate it all so I can't complain. I also wanted to try their chili hotdog. I have to say I was disappointed in the "chili" they used. Chili is supposed to enhance this dish but I feel it made it taste not so good. I make a killer chili if you want to use my recipe I'd be glad to give it to you. As always I have to be honest when doing these reviews. My opinions are just that. I will continue to love this place regardless of good or bad reviews.

Evergreen Dairy Bar A Retro Rocket to Flavor Town (Vincentown, NJ) Let's be clear: if you're on a diet, turn around now. Evergreen Dairy Bar isn't here to judge you lpbut it will tempt you into decisions that are wildly delicious and slightly irresponsible. I rolled up to this retro gem craving something old-school and unapologetically meaty. Enter: liverwurst and onion on rye. Yes, liverwurst. Don't clutch your pearls. This sandwich isn't here to be trendy it's here to whisper sweet nothings to your inner German grandma. The rye was soft but sturdy, the onions were unapologetically raw (like all good things in life), and the liverwurst? Smooth, rich, and just funky enough to make you feel alive. Then came the cup of chili. This wasn't your hipster-café chili with quinoa and kale. No. This was real, stick-to-your-ribs chili tangy, meaty, and built for people who still know how to use a wrench. To wash it all down? A Boost slushy. For the uninitiated, Boost is South Jersey's unofficial energy drink that tastes like cola and rocket fuel had a love child raised by 1950s soda jerks. Frozen into slushy form, it's basically a time machine in a cup equal parts nostalgia and caffeine. The vibe? Vintage drive-in meets local legend. The parking lot smells like deep-fried memories and the staff moves with the brisk efficiency of people who've been slinging chili dogs since before you were born. In short: Evergreen Dairy Bar isn't trying to impress you with avocado foam or duck confit. It's serving up honest-to-God Americana on a paper tray. Come hungry, leave happy, and maybe take a nap in your car afterward. 5/5 cardiac arrests--would slurp that Boost again.

Patty melt with turkey instead of beef

I sat at the counter during a busy week day lunch. I'm shocked how busy it was for a random Monday. Service was friendly, quick, and straightforward. I didn't know the menu so needed a few extra minutes. I ordered a patty melt with turkey instead of beef. You can substitute turkey for any of the burgers listed. It was a frozen patty but not bad. I really enjoyed the sandwich. It had the perfect amount of caramelized onions. It was crispy and the rye was fresh. It was a well balanced sandwich. The sandwich came with a tiny cup of coleslaw, which wasn't bad, and a bag of chips. I'm not a potato chip person so didn't eat them but I didn't want to order a huge side of fries for myself. It was filling without feeling overly stuffed, if that makes sense. It was a cute place. If I was in the area, I'd probably go back.

Went on a busy Sunday morning, but service was very quick. Staff were very kind. Food was fresh and delicious. Nice selection of breakfast and lunch items, and of course ice cream available all day long.

This place is perfect Americana. The moment you walk in you are taken back to simpler times. This place is welcoming. Came here for breakfast during the week. The tall young gentleman that waited on us was nothing but polite, helpful and friendly. The food was fast and just as expected. I got eggs with sausage gravy. My husband got eggs with blueberry pancakes and scrapple. Can't go wrong. This place gave me a feeling of Home and left me wanting to come back. You can have the busy loud chain restaurants. I'll take this any day. They have an outside dairy bar as well that is out of this world.

It was a summer night and I was craving ice cream so I decided to give Evergreen a try. It ended up being the best decision I have ever made. Evergreen is a great place to grab some ice cream, a burger, and/or a sandwich. They offer many different options that is sure to please everyone! I ordered their chocolate soft serve ice cream in a bowl. The texture was smooth, light, and creamy. It was the right flavor of chocolate and not too sweet. Every single bite made me want more and more. If you are a soft serve ice cream fan, then I highly recommend Evergreen diary bar. It's the perfect treat to end a summer night.

Another wonderful treat at Evergreen. Cannot drive by without stopping. Added crushed peanuts this time to my medium twist . Wonderful servers and on a beautiful day sitting at the table is great

Quick and friendly service. Solid breakfast and Reasonably priced. The hot chocolate could have been warmer. I was too full for soft served ice cream but I was told they have the best in the area. Next time.

So, I stopped here because I recognized the place from the movie, "Knock at the Cabin". I think it was the last scene of the movie. I thought it was just an ice cream place but it's actually a diner and an ice cream place. I had a great lunch, great ice cream and with great service. Glad I stopped!

Savannah and her staff had been coming up on my TikTok "For you page" for quite some time now. I enjoy the content she makes, and I enjoyed the treats she makes even more!! Savannah offers job, social & life skill opportunities to adults with disabilities by employing them. Some of, if not most of her staff, are disabled adults getting the chance to learn how to work and speak to customers professionally. I was able to witness her coaching a staff member through our transaction today, She is truly kind and so patient. It was a lovely experience. I picked up 6 cake bombs (I think thats what they were called), A S'mores cookie, and a massive chocolate brownie. I would have gotten a lot more baked goods, however the only other option was cupcakes and I'm just not a cupcake person. They seemed to be almost cleared out by the time I could make it in! The cake bombs were moist inside, the brownie was soft, chewy, and chocolatey, and the cookie was fresh and soft. The building is cute with hand painted murals on the windows that correspond to the current holidays/seasons. A few picnic tables outside with buckets of chalk for the kids to draw on the concrete and corn hole! I only wish I had some shade to sit under out there, it was hot and bright today. An umbrella or 2 would be just perfect. I will return to have some ice cream, and I look forward to trying more stuff once available!

We were able to get one of the last booths in the restaurant. It is pretty small inside and there are about probably 10 or so booths and a small counter. Our server came over and greeted us with menus and a specials menu. We were thinking we would get a burger as that is what they are known for besides ice cream. We saw that adding lettuce, tomato, and onions was extra, so we decided on just getting the California Burger medium, which has all of that on it. For a side, we ordered tots. On the menu under burgers, it says add fries for $5, but that is also the price for fries and tots if you order them all a carte. Our food came out pretty quickly. Our burger looked like a premade bubba burger or patty from Costco. It was cooked to our liking but it somehow felt mushy. The tots were nice and crispy. We ordered a fountain drink and a boost. For $26 for a burger, tots and two drinks I felt was a little much. I think we will stick to ice cream in the future. This place is cash only and their restrooms are outside of the restaurant.

I stopped in last Sunday, Mothers' Day and had a long wait for the Street Corn Dog I ordered. No worries, as it was good to see all the young families (and a few older ones) celebrating together. Clearly the proprietors were loving/stressing about all the customers and running out of provisions like hamburger buns and soft drinks. We all rolled with the punches. My frankfurter was handed to me by a cook in a cool cardboard box. I felt the warmth of the dog and the heft of all the elote, crema and queso. I was glad it was hot because I had an hour drive home before I would get to consume it. Yes. I loved every bite. The hot dog was pleasantly garlicy with a snap from my incisors. The roll held up its end of the bargain with no loss of support for its contents. The corn mix was cheesy while sweet from the kernels. Third experience w/ this location, and it's the one that finally convinced me this is a MUST AVOID. I ordered last Friday at 1:30 for 2 PM pickup. I had a short window for lunch and had to get back to the computer by 2:30. So, strapped for time. When I got there to pick up, there were 4 patrons in line. I walked alongside them to let the cashier know I was just picking up. In exactly the same way countless DoorDash and UberEats people in every food service environment do, all the time. The cashier, that first point of contact for the public, stuck his hand out in the international "talk to the hand" shush gesture. Nice! So I waited outside. After cashier took care of the first two, I lifted up both arms to say "what's up here?" Then I heard him say to the two customers in front of him that "That guy is acting crazy." At that point I told him to enjoy my sandwich -- and the tip I'd left on the PREPAID ORDER -- because I would not be waiting longer. Or coming back. Let's count all the ways this is a bad look: A business can't have employees talking about a customer to other customers -- PERIOD. It can't have people who use the order-ahead system waiting at the back of a line they expected to avoid entirely. It can't be rude to people who are arriving at the site and may not know the particular "rules" for online pickup. In my case, the ridiculous and needless wait allowed time for reflection on previous less-than-stellar attempts at Online Ordering at Gouldsburgers: the time when my burger was essentially cold when I got it home, a three-block walk. The time, just after the location opened, when I waited a long time after the pickup time only to discover that the order was comically wrong. (That one I attributed to newness and returned a few weeks later and had a good experience....). To his credit, the cashier did reach out later -- to ask if I wanted the order remade. He says the card has been credited but, because I'm not crazy, when I told him to enjoy the sandwich I really didn't expect a refund. Still don't! What I would expect is what I asked him when I returned the call: To speak with an admin/GM/MOD person about this. I have zero faith in this happening. But here's why it should: Because this location, which is indeed small, needs to address Online Pickup in a way that doesn't add 10-15 minutes to any poor unsuspecting soul's experience. This is FIXABLE! And also this business needs to rethink how it addresses people with at least a modicum of respect. That may not be fixable....
