The americano (black coffee) by mc cabes was lovely. The only thing I missed was a selection of biscuits/flapjacks/rockyroads!

They have a rail set up out side with water bowls for the dogs so you can keep an eye on them while you have a cuppa. The walls are glass so you can keep an eye out. :)

Been here on a few occasions and for example, my most recent visit... It was a super cold winters day and I was looking forward to getting inside but they didn't really have much heat going on, many people still sitting with jackets and scarfs on, take the hint..!!! Also, it was 3pm and they had no sandwiches on display people had to ask for them and the lady seemed troubled to go out the back and bring a few options out... Plus for a great little cafe building and area, they have only pre-made sandwiches, ye know the kind in cardboard/plastic sleeves. They don't have any option to toast them and also pretty sad, they cut it into quarters and serve it on a plate... Eh, we all known I've just bought a cardboard sandwich, serving it to me in triangles doesn't make it any more gourmet. Also, 3pm... Cold winters day and they had ran out of soup, yep, no soup... Was half expecting her to say they had no hot water for my cup of tea, but it's ok, hot water was in stock :-) Service wise, they really could do with putting on a smile... There's little or no pleasantries from the staff which is such a shame and as a tourist hub, they don't give off that renowned Irish Charm.

I'm coming back to give my 2nd review of this place almost 2 years since my last review…read more I've firmly made this place a regular stop for lunch or a sweet snack ;) Things to try include: The steak sambo- to die for! Chicken basil sandwich, Lemon harrisa chicken couscous salad. Coffee is delicious and they have a fantastic barista Vini! I'm partial to the chai lattes and choosing a variety of cakes which differ from day to day! If you're in the area, check out Urbun. It has great atmosphere, fresh food from local suppliers and they even sell handmade goodies from soaps to jams!

If you can get yourself out to this place (as it is fairly far out of the city centre) then…read moreabsolutely, positively do! The setting is very chilled, spacious and modern with a few quirky, rustic touches. The coffee is good, but the brunch is even better. While all other places boast french toast on their menus, Urbun goes one step further and has "Pain Perdu" on offer!!! "What exactly is this Pain Perdu you speak of?!" Well my friends, it's only french toast USING-A-CROISSANT-INSTEAD-OF-TOAST!!!!!! And sacre bleu, it is only fabulous. The reason why I wouldn't give this place the full 5star-shebang, is that we finished off our brunch with a cheeky brownie to share (as we had spotted it immediately on arrival and couldn't resist it's seeminingly irressistably-moist exterior) and it was just such a disappointment. How they managed to make something look so delicious and wonderful, but taste so bland is beyond me. That being said though, maybe my taste buds were wiped out after the excitement of the Pain Perdu and just couldn't muster up the energy to appreciate the brownie after that..

5 out of 5 due to several reasons…read more #1: Amazing employees. Maybe it's because its the countryside Irish but as soon you go in you are warmly greeted. You will notice they are all italian which gave me an even more confident my coffee would be amazing. #2: Vegan option: I'm not vegan but they have great vegan option for vegans. But the non-vegan options were delicious as well. The croissant I ordered was buttery, and flaky. The strawberry jam tastes like home made without any added sugar. #3: Affordability: Compared to Dublin, this place is a steal. Finally: A++ go get your coffee and food so you can go walk around Bray or even hike up that mountain.

Cats! Books! Wine! Fresh, authentic Italian food! Owned and staffed by Italians!…read more This little gem, only a couple dozen metres from the Bray DART station, is quaint and cozy. It only holds about 15 people. But the food, coffee, and service is about as good as it gets. These people are passionate about what they do. I come specifically for the awesome vegan Caravaggio sandwich (on ciabatta). Everything is freshly made by them and unlike anything you will get anywhere else. Except maybe Italy! There are usually lots of Italian customers there, speaking Italian. This is a very good sign. The place is full of interesting old books people are free to browse. A quirk is an underlying 'cat' theme. Quotes and pictures about cats all over. Hand drawn images of cats by customers also adorn the walks, as to Italian record albums. I come way out of my way to come here regularly and will continue to as long as possible. Note: their fabulous bread selection comes fresh daily from the Firehouse bakery in Delgany.
