One of my favorite touches was that she even created a children's activity area with Jenga blocks, bubbles, coloring books, and markers, which was such a thoughtful detail and really appreciated by the parents. Several of my guests were so impressed that they actually asked for her information because they want to book events there too! Yes, she texted my day of coordinator at 5 am ON THE DAY OF MY WEDDING, saying she wasn't going to be there at the agreed upon time of 10 am, saying she'd be there at noon then showed up at 1 pm. Hit the trees of the venue with her truck. Brought the wrong cake stand so I sent $220 for a cake table and had to use the cardboard from the baker. My flowers had awful metal pieces and zip ties on them. I was embarrassed of what I had for my wedding party. Let alone my colors had gold and she put silver all over everything. Then she didn't show up to pick up her stuff at the time she said she would the following day and asked me to keep them another day, even though I'm out of state. If you want your wedding to go wrong, she's definitely your girl. Too bad zero stars aren't a thing.

I attended the Stockton Jazz Festival at the Weber Event Center and was extremely disappointed with…read morethe overall experience. This festival attracted a large number of seniors and older adults, yet the event appeared to do very little to accommodate the needs of that audience. Temperatures were in the upper 80s, there was very limited shade, outside food was prohibited, and attendees were only allowed to bring one 16-ounce bottle of water that could not even be frozen. For an event attended largely by seniors, this policy was unreasonable and showed a lack of consideration for attendee comfort and well-being. The food situation only made matters worse. Food vendor lines stretched for what felt like an hour, and some vendors ran out of food. People were left standing in the heat waiting for food and water because they were not allowed to bring their own. Event organizers should have anticipated the crowd size and provided enough food vendors and hydration options. The most frustrating part was the stage setup. There was already a large VIP section in front of the stage, but additional tents were placed directly in the middle of that VIP area. These tents completely obstructed the view for many attendees sitting behind them. From where I was seated, I could hear the music but could not see the performers on stage at all. I paid for a two-day ticket to watch a live performance, not just listen from a distance. In fact, the view was so obstructed and the weather conditions so uncomfortable that I chose not to return to the venue on Sunday. Instead, I listened to the music from my hotel because I could hear it just as well from there as I could from my seat inside the festival grounds. The organizers need to seriously rethink their hydration policies, food service capacity, shade availability, and stage layout. Many attendees paid good money for this event and were unable to comfortably see the performers they came to watch. Given the obstructed views and overall experience, I believe attendees deserve some form of compensation or refund consideration. I love jazz and was looking forward to this festival, but unfortunately, this was one of the most poorly planned outdoor events I have attended. To make matters even more frustrating, I traveled more than two hours and paid for a nearby hotel specifically to attend this festival and enjoy a full weekend of live jazz. After spending the money on tickets, travel, lodging, and other expenses, I arrived only to find myself unable to see the performers because of the obstructed view created by the tents placed in the middle of the VIP area. I did not make that investment of time and money simply to listen to the music from a distance. Had I known my view would be completely blocked, I would not have purchased a two-day ticket People attend a live music festival to see and hear the performers. When attendees are paying customers who have traveled long distances and booked hotels, obstructed views, inadequate shade, long food lines, and restrictive water policies are simply unacceptable

This is a members-only club for most of their area, so they'd have specific doors for the wedding guests to enter in from (it won't be from the main entrance). The door would lead straight to the wedding area though, and the layout was great. Overall, I'd say the venue was great and the tour was very informational/professional. It was easy to envision how the wedding would be like there. Price-wise, it was actually very reasonable for the quote, especially with how spacious the area is. We loved the space, the scenery, they also provide a coordinator so you don't need to worry about finding one outside. However, we decided to pass since there wasn't an option for us to try out the food prior to signing the contract. We'd also have to pre-select the food for tasting, and if we didn't like it, we'd have to pay extra to come back for it. Since the drive is 1.5hr long, we didn't want to risk having to do the back and forth just to settle on the food (and what if we just didn't like the food? That was the risk too). This venue was definitely top 3 on our final list though.

One of my clients reserved the larger hall for a party and while the space itself was good, it was much too warm in the building - even in April. I can only imagine how hot it gets during a Solano County summer! I heard from several attendees of the party who have been to other events at the Center that is is regularly much too warm. I don't know if there is AC available and it's just not turned on, or if this beautiful and historic venue really has no AC, but it was much too warm even with the doors and windows open on this mid-April evening. There is a parking garage right next door and also street parking available. We brought in our own catering with no issue whatsoever and even served wine (pretty sure that is allowed - I actually didn't make the arrangements). There was ample seating (long tables with chairs) for our dinner event and plenty of tables for a buffet and makeshift bar area. Again, it's a lovely facility and a real benefit for the citizens of Solano County but if you want to have an event here, I would absolutely check on the temperature controls. With almost 70 people in the large room, it was sweltering and uncomfortable.
