Really good chowder and cook for all meats burgers etc was perfect. Good potatoes, sides, and salads. Drinks, coffees, teas were alright. We had a larger party of 13, last minute reservation so split into 3 tables. Service was a little crazy because we kept ordering add ons, and once one table's food was delivered to the other's. Overall friendly and timely service. Been here 3x for dinner and 2x for lunch, no real complaints.

The decor is a little dated; service a little uneven and kind of slow despite not being too busy; but food is decent, portions are large, and prices are affordable. The rancoon appetizer was creamy, hot filling, and exterior crunchy. Not too bad for $8. Originally, I wanted to order the steamed mussels but they were out so the server recommended BBQ. I ended up ordering the 1/4 BBQ chicken and ribs with side of sweet potato pie and cheesy bacon grits. The chicken was quite juicy. The plate only included two small ribs but I guess for $16.95, you can't expect that much. Overall not the best BBQ I've had but for the price, I guess it was fine. I didn't care much for the sweet potato pie but the cheesy bacon grits were decent. On the other hand, the petrale sole in brown butter and almond was quite good and for $19.95 a good deal. The fish was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Highly recommend if you like fish. Overall I would give this place 3.5 stars but rounded up for the affordable prices.

When I was with a banquet group 2 years ago, I again requested inclusion of Eggplant Parmigiana to no avail. The main reason for 2 star D- rating is my experience this past Mother's Day. I was again with a banquet Mother's Day group, same group of people as before. The salmon was a bit above adequate & the service was OK. The salad was decent but again a skimpy amount. I made the best of their dessert choices as they didn't have any of my favorites. What I really didn't like was the exorbitant price: our bills were $84.00 each for a chintzy amount of adequate food! They might as well have said, "This is a stick Up!" Their priority is clearly profit over & beyond Excellence & Quality. As I don't eat a big amount, I typically have left overs to take. Not so here. They gave the bare minimum per quantity, we had to negotiate practically to get enough bread! Bread! We'll guess what. They won't be getting any more of my "bread" and in fact I'll encourage the organizers of the family to pick somewhere else next time with a more reasonable cost or at least commensurate quality for the price. Nice view there still...Too bad I'll just hike past there...

This place deserves this strong rating…read more The building is gorgeous -- all brick walls, old-school elegance, and enough ambiance to make you sit up straighter the second the waiter approaches. It feels like the kind of place where politicians make secret deals over cabernet and couples get engaged next to a plate of scallops that costs more than your first car payment. The wine list is so extensive I'm pretty sure it has its own ZIP code. The service? Extremely polished. The servers glide around with the confidence of people who definitely know which fork you're supposed to use and are praying you don't ask. Food-wise, it's fantastic. Steaks arrive looking like they just graduated summa cum laude from culinary school. The oysters are elite. The desserts whisper, "You deserve this," right before your bank app sends a push notification asking if everything is okay. And honestly, the best part is the atmosphere. It's one of the few restaurants where everyone collectively agrees to lower their voice by 30%. You don't hear blenders, screaming toddlers, or a guy explaining crypto. Just soft conversation, and clinking glasses. Would I go back? Absolutely. But only after checking my credit score, hydrating properly, and reminding myself that "treat yourself" is not a legally binding financial strategy. In all seriousness: it's worth every dime. (And if you decide to pay in dimes.....bring a few dollies and some help.)

Out of this world. The breading was thin and crispy, and the dipping sauce was yummy. We had the catch of the day. It came with risotto that was perfectly seasoned and cheesy. My friend had the Parpadelle. She said it was prepared perfectly, and al dente just like she likes it. We definitely would return for some more spins around the menu. I have to say, it was impressive. We had reservations at 4:45 PM on a Thursday for a birthday celebration - and was fortunate to find good parking. The first time I went to Pietro's, they had fish and risotto special. Every time I've went, they always had the fish and risotto special - and ordered it every time - because it is THAT good! This time I ordered the risotto special without the fish and it was especially delicious. Pietro's has an amazing menu and quite a few menu items I would love to try - but I just can't pass up the risotto - because it is THAT good! Pietro's evolved from a small family favorite restaurant to what you would expect at a fine dining franchised establishment. The mood is always vibrant and positive. And the service is even better. Overall, Pietro's is not just a restaurant, it is an experience - because Pietro's is THAT good!
