Although I have submitted a formal complaint, I have yet to receive a simple apology or return of deposit. There were other members of PYC present who witnessed the interaction in it's entirety and found it to be unprofessional and rude. It doesn't matter how nice the venue when the people in charge have NO CLUE how to conduct business with respect and professionalism!! Once the weather forecast changed to a chance of rain, we found this place & could not be happier that we did! We contacted the owner Ty, who was extremely easy to communicate with & we were able to come in & check out the space almost immediately & decided it was perfect! We officially booked approximately 4 days before our party when a lot of places need 30+ day notice. It was very reasonably priced & we basically had the location for the entire day. Plenty of time to set up & clean up. We were allowed to come & go all day from 10a-7p as Ty also owns the bakery just next door! She & her staff locked up & unlocked for my family all day so we could drop things off, leave & come back! We had approximately 50 guests, about 40 adults & some children & everyone fit more than comfortably. We were allowed to bring in any food & alcohol that we wanted with only a $75 service fee for the alcohol. A Bluetooth speaker & tables & chairs were also included & were comfortable & all in good condition. There is bathroom inside & heating & AC as well as trash cans & trash bags. The owner, Ty was on scene next door all day til we were all done & ready to leave & locked up for us. We absolutely loved our having our party here & will absolutely be back in the future!

Each party we hosted here was 200+ attendees. The Rec Center was the perfect place with ample parking space, great amenities, and a safe and easy location to drive to. The facility is spacious, clean and the awesome kitchen area provided us with plenty of storage space for refrigerated foods. Our guests loved the modern, clean look with high ceilings and open floor plan. The stage was great for our live band and dj. Most of all, our parties carried through smoothly and efficiently with the help of the courteous staff that was available throughout the entire event! It was a nice special day for the couple, along with their family and friends, to help celebrate this blessed occasion!

I put a $2000 deposit in to rent the event center on July 11 2026 I gave him the deposit on April…read more24, 2026. Rex the owner told us to come by and try the food out first so we did. We did not like the food! So I went to him on May 4, 2026 to let him know that I need to cancel the event. The food was not up to par and I wanted my deposit back. He refused to refund me any money and said it was too late to cancel it, even though the event was three months in the future. This is not the type of person you want to deal with or the business you deal with, take your event somewhere else. I contacted my credit card company and I'm getting my deposit back, but his actions by refusing to give me my deposit back tells he's a rip off
