The meal always starts out with yummy plantain chips and pico de gallo salsa on the house. They have a variety of delicious-sounding cocktails; I typically get their refreshing red sangria. From their appetizers (in both the lunch and dinner menus), their empanadas are a stand out. The dish comes with three empanada flavors: beef, chicken, and pork. They're cut in half and served with a creamy guajillo pepper sauce. So full of flavor. Another delicious appetizer (only available in the dinner menu) is the "pinchos de churrasco", three grilled skirt steak skewers with chimichurri sauce. In terms of entrees, the "bistec a caballo" (from the lunch menu) is a must-try! It's a skirt steak that comes with caramelized onions and peppers, rice, black beans, sweet plantains, and a fried egg. The "churrasco gaucho" (from the dinner menu) is my other go-to. It consists of a 12 oz grass fed prime NY strip steak served with roasted asparagus, baby gold potatoes, and chimichurri sauce. These entrees are huge; I definitely recommend sharing. For dessert, I've tried their crepes filled with dulce de leche and the tres leches cake, which is topped with guava sorbet. My preference for tres leches cake is for the cake to be very moist, so I found this cake to be on the drier side. The sorbet is quite sweet and tropical, so I wish the tres leches cake came with a different flavor of sorbet, or with the sorbet on the side. The desserts aren't the most impressive part of the meal, but they're still worth trying. Service is fast and I love their interior decoration! The parking lot is quite small, but they have valet parking.

The servers here are all super nice and the man with the fish/shrimp made sure to come around to our table frequently. The cold bar was extensive and had a wonderful variety. I really had to limit myself on what I'd got and you could have a full dinner based on the cold bar alone. The cheese bread is soooo good. As part of restaurant week, we got the yuca fries and plantains which were super yummy. My bf loved all of the meat he got - he was so happy and satisfied. The shrimp was really good as was the fried cheese. The salmon was cooked well but definitely needed the mango salsa for flavor. The pineapple was one of the best things here - you HAVE to get it. We were honestly too full for dessert but it came with the restaurant week deal so we got tres leches anyways. The tres leches was super moist and tasty. This place is an amazing bang for your buck and we're super excited to come back. It was a really fun vibe here on a Friday night!

He goes out of his way to make sure everything is perfect , we sat at the bar and had some delicious appetizers seasoned to perfection . I'm am Brazilian and I have been to MANY Brazilian steakhouses but this one topped them all and the didn't even try the rodizio. Jonas was very attentive and always asking if we needed anything else . An absolute amazing experience , we will definitely go back to enjoy other selections . The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and served on authentic corn tortillas with the traditional onion and cilantro toppings. While this isn't my absolute favorite tacos around, I do prefer this location over Casa Villa's other Stamford restaurant. The ambiance here is much nicer, with tasteful decor and a great outdoor patio that's perfect for enjoying a meal when the weather is nice. My only real complaint was the salsa. I'm a fan of traditional salsa verde, and their creamy version just wasn't for me. Other than that, the food was good, the vibe was welcoming, and the Tuesday special made it an even better value. Overall, it's a good spot for tacos, a relaxed atmosphere, and a casual meal with friends or family. I'd def come back on Taco Tuesday!

I'm not a Colombian food expert, so I can't say if it was traditional or not. But we really liked what we had!! We had a few empanadas as appetizers. They were really good. Nice crispy outside, and stuffed full on the inside. We could tell they were freshly handmade. They were clearly not frozen. The coffee is perfect. It had a robust coffee flavor. Not a bitter or burnt flavor, but a full coffee flavor, with a slight hint of cocoa. Staff is very friendly and attentive. They know all the dishes. I wasn't sure what to order. I told the waitress I was really hungry and asked what's popular. She suggested Calentado. It's a dish with eggs, rice & beans, meat, and cheese topped arepa. Meat choices are chicken, steak, ground beef, or chorizo. I tried the chicken. The waitress recommended scrambled eggs with onions and peppers. Our food came out very quickly. The plates of food were enormous. Each plate had enough food for two people. And everything was great! They have a large assortment of pastries and desserts up front. Unfortunately, I was too full to try any. They seem to be very popular in the neighborhood. While we ate, we noticed the staff joke around with people who popped in for coffee, sandwiches, or desserts. There are a lot of regulars. Tables, counters, and floors are clean. Take out refrigerators are stocked well. Popular music plays at proper levels. Loud enough that you can hear it, but not so loud that you can't hear each other. We will definitely be back again for breakfast. We will also come back for lunch, dinner, and desserts. Check it out if you're in the area.
