Generously sized and well priced, good looking tacos. I enjoyed them with one exception. In NorCal, I am used to, crispy, browned carnitas. On the east coast, it's more like just "fatty mushy pork with occasional pieces of cartilage" :P I think this place is fine as long as you're not a carnitas snob like me. A handful of tables, a big ol' fan, because air conditioning? Not today. And a TV on the wall pumping out reggaetón to keep things spicy. The place had a steady stream of locals rolling in for takeout, which is always a good sign in my book. The menu? A glorious cross-cultural Latin American mixtape. Mexican, Salvadoran, maybe even some Peruvian influence--it's like taking your taste buds on a backpacking trip without the altitude sickness. Bonus points for menu photos so you don't end up accidentally ordering goat brain stew (unless that's your thing).
