I've gotten my lashes done on several occasions but this was the most relaxing! Once checked in at the door your technician (Dana was super sweet and gave me exactly what I wanted) brings you to your table with curtains on both sides of you. You are offered not only a wedge to elevate your knees but a blanket! I initially refused the blanket but it was chilly in there. There was a great mix of early 2000s pop music: think TLC, Pink, and Ashlee Simpson. I'm embarrassed to say I did nod off (it takes close to 3 hours) and only woke when I caught my self snoring BUT after I awakened I did hear some sleeping going on on the other side of the curtain so that made me feel better! But about the lashes.... The technician will ask a bunch of questions to find out what style you want. I only remember a few of my answers "c curl. Hybrid. Fullness priority over length." It's been a week and they are still majority intact! I also purchased the mascara and it's AMAZING! I wonder if it works as well on natural lashes. I have my own lash shampoo but it is available for purchase as well. Prices are high end but it would be fun to play around with all the different combinations to find your perfect signature lash! I was really disappointed with my overall experience as a member. I joined while I was living in the area temporarily, and when I requested to cancel because I'm relocating, I learned that my final $189 membership payment would still be charged before my membership could be canceled. I don't remember that being clearly explained when I signed up, and it came as a surprise. I also found out there was a $25 master stylist upgrade fee if I wanted to continue seeing the stylist whose work I preferred. No one mentioned that when I checked out, after I tipped my stylist, or when I was encouraged to rebook. I only realized it after seeing the charge. I tried to discuss my concerns over the phone, but I left the conversation feeling unheard. Lauren later emailed me and apologized for her tone, and I do appreciate that apology. Unfortunately, the conversation itself left me uncomfortable enough that I no longer feel comfortable returning for lash services. When someone is working around your eyes, trust and communication matter. The lash artists do beautiful work, and this review isn't about the quality of their services. My frustration is with the membership, the lack of transparency around additional fees, and the cancellation process. I felt like I kept learning about extra costs after I was already committed. If you're considering a membership, I'd strongly recommend asking for every fee, stylist upgrade charge, and cancellation policy in writing before signing up. read more

Know before you go! This place trains new lash techs! If you want premium service you request a master stylist and there is an up charge. I have had all levels do mine and all are very sweet but you have to understand if you get a stylist without much experience you have to be patient! OB location had some good ones but if you have never had lashes I recommend spending the extra on an experienced stylist. Also any type of membership has terms you have to read. Took over 3 hours for a classic set. I asked for a classic level 3 and I told the girl if she couldn't do it or didn't have time to then I will leave and take my business elsewhere. I showed her photos of what I wanted and she said she could copy it. My lashes looked sparse and she said she did a level 2 instead of a level 3. Over three hours in the chair and 100 bucks for a set that I didn't ask for was not good. I immediately got that set removed after I left. I'm very picky with my eyebrows and who does them because I've had really bad experiences before. My experience at The Lash Lounge White Station was really, really bad. I'd never gotten my lashes done so I didn't really know what to expect. In the initial appointment, the lash technician got glue in my eye multiple times, but I didn't realize that having your lashes done wasn't supposed to hurt, so I just assumed that it was part of the process. The actual lashes themselves were horrible. I brought a reference picture, but the lashes I ended up with looked sparse, as if I'd already had the set for a month and they had fallen out--and this was immediately after they'd just been done. On top of that, the extensions were put in at a weird angle and were super uncomfortable on my eyes. They did give me a second appointment for free to fix the first set, which I appreciated. The lashes definitely looked better but still not like what I asked for. They were also very uncomfortable, like the first set, and most fell out within a matter of days. For the record--I was very careful and very thorough in following the care instructions they gave me. I kept them dry for the recommended time, I took care of them, they just fell out. If I'm being honest, I was embarrassed to go out in public because of how bad my lashes looked. I asked for a refund. They offered me a gift card instead. I don't live in the area, I was in Memphis for the holidays. The appointment was for the last day I was in town, when I asked for the refund a few days later, I had already traveled back to where I live for most of the year. They offered a gift card instead of a refund. I explained that I don't live nearby the original location, there isn't a location in my area, and that's why I was seeking a refund instead. They never responded when I told them this. My experience here was downright awful. The owner, Dallas, and the manager, Lauren, are terrible, petty people. They pay a service to scrub their google reviews and respond to the ones they can't get removed like defensive, foul, trifling...well, you get the point. It's a scam. The owner keeps most of the fee. Awful, just awful. I have been getting lash extensions for years, specifically hybrid, so I know what hybrid lash extensions are supposed to be like. After 2 hours of a "hybrid" session, it looked like no work was even done! They looked out of place, with no volume or length... basically they looked like my natural eyelashes, with no extensions whatsoever. I can't even begin to describe my disappointment. This place can figure out how to charge my credit card (barely) but they can't figure out how to schedule appointments? I love my lash lady. She does AMAZING work but how am I supposed to go to her when they're booking me for the wrong days and wrong times. it's making the stylists suffer. I had my first bad experience. I had good experience previously but this time was bad. The girl did not have experience with the glue they use on me so she used way too much. My eyes were stuck together when she finished. My eyes have been irritated ever since I got them done a few days ago because too much glue. She clumped them together. I don't feel like she used the same lashes I had previously. These feel very fake and almost plastic feel which was not the case before. It's a lot of money to spend to be unhappy. This place is such a scam. I paid 500 before it was over. Between the high pressure sales and products. Not to mention the supposed monthly subscription that saves you money. All lies and scams. They fell out the first night then I was told I would have to pay half price to get them done again. And they refused to refund me the subscription after 2 days. One month later I went to a place in Cordova and had much better lashes done at half the time for 40. No products, no subscriptions. And they lasted over a month. I accidentally thought I booked Tuesday at 5pm instead of Monday. I booked Sunday and paid a deposit. The girl calls me at 5:20pm to say I am late. I said nicely it was an honest mistake and I could come right away (which would take me 15 min by car) . She said the girl leaves at 6pm even though it is open till 8pm. She charged me full price on an honest mistake and didn't allow me to rush over or correct it. I have never been late in the past, paid my deposit and always bought product from them. I am from out of town and used them every time I was in Memphis as I come often. Not better than Toronto by any stretch, their lashes fall out easily and are not the best quality (and sparse) -- but it was a go to in a pinch. Never again. That is HORRIBLE customer service. The receptionist called late on purpose, was rude and wouldn't allow me to try and then charged my card I trusted them with on file. I have now been twice to the Lash Lounge for eyebrow threading and am hooked! I have abused my eyebrows for many years so Memry has her worked cut out for her to help me get these back in shape. The threading itself is almost painless - it is pulling on eyebrows so there is going to be a bit of "pull" but unless you have no pain threshold at all, it is really nothing. I've had my eyebrows waxed before and I would pick this method any day over waxing. At the end there is a cool and soothing swipe of witch hazel and voila - done! It is literally a pop in/pop out visit - if you have a spare 15 minutes, you can work this into your day. The technician, Memry, is really sweet and gets the work done in a flash. Hopefully within a few months I'll have these eyebrows under control and I can continue to visit to maintain their awesomeness. read more

I paid for a service that I was not satisfied wit. This salon is clean and relaxing however I asked for a very specific lash style and did not receive it. Once I shared my dissatisfaction with the lash tech she deflected with and allo me to reschedule with her the following wee. My appointment was rescheduled again but with another lash tech. No one informed me about the new tech and being rescheduled with a new tech made my lash experience uncomfortable. I specifically asked for the lash tech who applied the wrong length to fix the problem. I also couldn't reschedule for an earlier appointment on my own had I been told that the previous lash tech did not want to repair my lashes. This is not a cheap service and I take my self care very serious. I called several times to speak with the manager to share this experience and was told each time that she was extremely busy. Business that have expectations from their clients should also respect expectations from their clieMrs and show professional consideration about the quality of service that is being paid for.
