Our room was small and cozy and we had the room to ourselves until the restaurant got busy. We both ordered the 8 oz sirloin with the garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. Steak was tasty and grilled to order. The potatoes were chunky, rustic and garlicky. I ended up eating all of them against my better judgement. They were so good. Only downside was a pesky fly that would not go away and kept landing on our food. But not really the restaurant's fault!

I ended up ordering the Roadhouse Burger ($15). This is a 1/2lb black angus burger with chopped bacon, sautéed bourbon onions, haystack onions, garlic herb cheese spread and BBQ sauce on a pretzel bun. The Burger was okay. I really liked all the toppings. My 2 issues were the burger wasn't very juicy, plus meat quality was also only okay. The other was the bun was a little dry, maybe stale. I've had so many better burgers, it wasn't technically bad, just very ehhh. I also upgraded to asparagus ($2.5) as my side. They were cooked properly and tasted very good. A sauce or something would take them to another level. The person I was with ordered the Cajun Bleu Cheese Burger ($15). This is a Cajun seasoned 1/2lb black angus burger served with bacon, mushrooms, and crumbled bleu cheese served on a Kaiser roll. This person actually really enjoyed her Burger. Hers was cooked medium rare while mine was medium, plus different buns, so maybe that made a difference. They were short staffed with only one waitress covering. So she was a little frazzled. However she did a good job and was still friendly in the process. The other issue with this business I had was their website and actual are not the same. The websites menu states on Saturday it's brunch till 3pm them dinner menu at 3pm. We cane at 3pm, because I wanted the pot roast. Nope we are told it's Lunch menu only. If I had known that I probably wouldn't have come here Overall I'll give a 3 star review. It's not a bad place, just not anywhere near my favorite. Would I return? Probably not. If someone else really wanted to go here, then yes otherwise I don't see myself returning.

I adore crab so ordering that was a no brainer. Their coffee is strong. It took a ton of cream to change the color... though it was delicious with free refills for $5. The omelette was heaven. All the flavors melded well and I appreciated the crisp acidic salad to cut the richness of the omelette. My only critique is wishing the crab salad topping was a bit more decadent. For $21 I was hoping for big lumps of crab rather than cool shredded mayo based salad. All in all, I love this place, I love the concept. It was quite busy and was thankful to snag a seat at the bar. The service was friendly and quick. Best hipster establishment I've patronized in a long time. Make a reservation if you have a group or pray there is a seat at the bar. Keep doing your thang Littlebird!!

My boyfriend and I stumbled in during happy hour and were happy to grab some cheap drinks, but the main event was the burger! We typically like sitting at the bar as well and chat with the bartender who was absolutely lovely! The dirty martini was okay but I will definitely order something else next time as the olives just didn't hit for me. It's a quaint and quiet spot - you can read that as intimate - since it's not loud or rowdy, so if you want a really sweet date spot, feel free to check this one out! Otherwise, you can just go and have a casual, delicious dinner. Parking is limited with the street parking and it being so close to Monroe Center but you shouldn't have a terrible time finding something, even if requires a parking ramp vs street parking. I'd just recommend a reservation if you are going on a weekend or don't want to wait/sit at the bar!

The service was a tiny bit slow but we were not in a time crunch so it wasn't really a big deal. I had a glass of wine and my friend and I split an appetizer, a charcuterie board, and the Parisian sandwich. Their menu is seasonal but I think the sandwiches stay pretty consistently. Everything was really good and high quality. I especially loved the sandwich. Truly similar to the same sandwiches you can get everywhere in Paris. The charcuterie board was yummy with unique choices! Everything paired pretty well. I would definitely come back here to try more menu options and wine :)

I'm a big Squibb fan and it's great to see them utilizing this space to serve drinks, coffee, and small plates, as well as cheese to go and other fun items for sale in their market. It's a one stop shop for a perfect picnic! Nate and I stopped by on their first day open and ordered the Parisian, heirloom tomato and burrata, and the mini charcuterie board. If you liked Aperitivo, you'll love Sav Sav. Everything we ate was delicious, but we both loved the tomato and burrata small plate the most. It was bursting with flavor and was nicely balanced between savory and sweet. I also really loved the Parisian and want to try the other sandwich options. I'm excited to see how their concept evolves! The little market area is super cute and they have lots of tinned fish, cookbooks, wine, snacks, and more. This will be a go-to spot for me in the Downtown Market.
