UPDATED : ( 11/23/25) I have updated my rating from a (1) to (4), after John did respond and follow through with his promise. In addition, John, went an extra mile and included (2) additional wicks. Recently, I have been having an UNSATISFACTORY experience with the $10. stones wicks (very POOR in quality). I have been using Oil Lamps with stone wicks for over 5 years and the wicks generally lasted no LESS than a full 30 days; mostly for several months. My last purchase of (2) stone wicks, though, the usage time was only 7 -10 days. After reaching out, via email, to resolve the issue, John advised that the wicks, although advertised as, LIFELONG, I should expect that these wicks will clog and therefore cutting the life expectancy to a few days. John encouraged me to purchase additional oils from LAMP STAND ( I did $85.00 worth) then he would, in turn, replace the defective wicks purchased from LaTEEDah. Of course the replacement wicks were not included with my purchase order. So, again, I reached out, via email, to John. He, again, promised to send out the (2) replacement wicks that were NOT included with my order. Currently, it's been over two weeks, later, AND I have NOT received the replacement wicks or a refund for the (2) wicks purchased with my order. I have at least (4) months of oil to use, NOW without an usable wick. So, I am forced to move forward with finding quality stone wicks elsewhere from a company that can better provide quality products and customer service. read more

I recently ordered the Sophia's Fragrance Lamp Oil Grab Bag, 3 bottles. I have two issues with this order. One, all 3 bottles are the same scent. I thought the point of a grab bag was to get unknown different scents.? So if I don't like this scent I am stuck with 3 bottles of it! Two, I think it must be out of date or maybe just a bad batch as it won't stay burning. I went thru 3 wicks, one of which was new, and all lit but then faded out very quickly. I don't think I will take a chance on ordering from the Lamp Stand again. I will just stick with La-Tee-Dah fragrance oils from now on. I had a great experience ordering!! I ordered a Christopher Radko glass finial tree topper and it was shipped right away! The topper is absolutely gorgeous and arrived safely packed. It was half the price of others I've found online, even cheaper than used ones! I wouldn't pay much attention to the negative reviews, ordering, price and delivery were perfect! Sub-standard product & Zero Customer Service 9 days for product to arrive - I paid for shipping. Lampe oil would not light candle/wick. Tried 3 new wicks and still no flame. Oil is sub-standard...not enough isopropyl alcohol in it. Sent 2 emails to company....no response. Called 25+ times, left messages, still no call back. Horrible customer service. read more

Worst experience of the holiday season. Purchased a Radko ornament that was broken in shipment. Ornament was out of stock, so we chose another; it had 2 sizes, without discussing with me that ornament came in 2 sizes they sent the mini one; it was ridiculous on a 10 ft. tree. Paid the return shipping chg. then they charged me a restocking fee of 7.95 on a $30.00 ornament when they made the mistake in the first place. Way to go. Never shop @ this place. read more

I ordered Christopher Radko ornaments on August 4th 2021. I had on numerous times checked the status of my order and was told that "it would be shipping soon". During the four months of waiting, I received numerous emails trying to get me to buy additional items but not one email updating my delivery. This past Saturday, Nov. 27th, I received another email announcing a Black Friday sale of Christopher Radko ornaments! After 4 months of waiting, I called their customer service and requested a refund. August 4th - November 29th is an unacceptable wait time for Christmas Ornaments!!!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. THEY ARE INSANE. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT. THEY CANNOT EVEN DELIVER THE SIMPLEST ORDER. On 08/18/08, I placed an online order for 3 bottles of fragrance lamp oil. Pretty simple, huh? Well, not for this inept and insane company. The order listed a FedEx tracking number that I checked periodically. On 08/27/18, tracking said the package was undeliverable because my address didn't exist and that package was being returned to sender. (I wrote these jerks and asked if they would contact the town on my behalf so that I wouldn't have to pay $13,000 in taxes per year on a non-existent address. The next day, 08/28/18, package was delivered by USPS. There was a switch-off, but I wasn't informed; and after reading my address was bogus, I certainly didn't expect a delivery. There was no bubble wrap or any kind of insulation, but there as crushed brown wrapping paper. Two of 3 bottles had cracked caps: one was empty, the other was 7/8 full. The package smelled like a cheap whore. The third bottle was fine. These morons don't know how to package liquids that are in cheap plastic bottles w/even cheaper caps? They are too stupid to properly package a major item in their bogus inventory? You have been warned: they can't be trusted to do anything properly -- even the simplest of orders that a moron could easily handle. Maybe they need to hire morons if they are not morons themselves. Patronize them at your peril. read more

Worst company ever! I ordered 10 candles for Christmas gifts. They shipped them in 2 different sets, five in one box and five in the other. The first box completely broke to pieces. The containers were made of glass and they were not even individually wrapped, just sitting on top of each other in a box! The other five were dirty candles. That means that they were poured incorrectly and when they burn they leave black soot all over your house. They did replace the five broken candles, with five more dirty candles. Thanks the Lampstand. I will never order again. read more

Horrible experience with this company. I wish I had looked on yelp first. After waiting for two weeks for them to ship my candles, I emailed them to find out what was going on. I had to produce all of my information because they could not pull up anything by my email or the date. Then I get the song and dance of "out of stock". After 3 weeks of nothing arriving in the mail, I called FedEx, they said my package was lost and to contact the seller. I contacted them and still no candles or a refund. Being super frustrated after a month of no candles, I filed a claim with PayPal. Looks like I'm finally getting a refund. Bottom line, don't buy anything from the Lamp Stand. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. read more

Over a month goes by, no contact from anyone. I call and they say fedex never notified them the box was damaged and undeliverable. I see fedex made a note of this three weeks ago. She says they will send a replacement. I ask about expediting it due to the extreme delay and inconvenience. She says no it will be the same 12 day shipping. I persist that this is my first experience with them and the least they could do is expedite it. She then agrees "as a one time courtesy". Then notifies me they are out of stock and will need to refund me. Person on the phone was unpleasant to engage with, what a disappointment. read more

Received an email stating the 2 fragrance lamps I ordered were out of stock. Called them and spoke with Marsha. Asked if they would be getting more in stock at a later date. She said had to ask Lisa (I'm pretty sure that was her name) and would call me back within a few minutes. After 20+ minutes called them back and again spoke with Marsha. She apologized and was very kind. Said would probably not get more of the fragrance lamp I had ordered. Told her I would order different lamps and asked if she could please assist me with this order as I had a 60% discount added to the order and a $10 off promo code which I could no longer add to the new order. She was extremely nice to try to attempt to accommodate me. She kept having to ask Lisa about how to do this order. Finally she told me she would have to charge me the full price and then I would be refunded. This is crazy!! Who is to say that they would not just charge me the full price and not refund me. I asked to speak with Lisa. Lisa was very demeaning and appeared to be an angry person. I realize this job is probably stressful but her job is "customer service". She called me a liar when I said I had received a 60% discount. All she had to do was to look at my order to see that I had received this discount. Simple math. She told me that it was impossible to complete my order any other way than to cancel my previous order and reorder the new lamps WITHOUT the discount and then refund me at 50% not 60%. Well I do not like to be called a liar. That really upset me and I told her so. You do not have to be nasty to people. I cancelled my order. One of the worst customer experiences I have had, but not because people weren't nice, but because every single person I spoke to, and their systems, are incompetent. First, I placed an order that was out of stock but no indication on line when I placed the order and no email indicating that the order would not be shipped in a reasonable time frame. Second, when two weeks passed, I contacted the company and was told that the item was not in stock and would not be shipped out for approximately one month. I explicitly said that was not acceptable and said that I wanted the order cancelled and requested email confirmation to cancel the order. I never received the requested email and apparently, the customer service person I spoke to never cancelled the order nor did they document the conversation. Third, after receiving the item I no longer wanted (I purchased it thru another reseller), I contacted the company and apparently spoke to the manager of customer service. I explained what had transpired and the gentleman was clueless about how to manage an upset customer. I explained that I did not want the item and he just told me to put the item out of my porch and Fedex would come and pick it up. I knew that is not how it worked and asked him if they were going to send me a call tag to print - he assured me that wasn't necessary and Fedex would come that afternoon and that he would refund my money as soon as Fedex picked up the item. Again, I asked for email confirmation, which never arrived. An hour later, I contacted Fedex and asked them if they had been instructed to pick up a package at my house and they of course told me "NO" which is what I expected, so I called the company again and again asked for Fedex to pick up the package - she reiterated everything the previous individual did and again, I asked for email confirmation. However, this time, she did send me a link to print a Fedex return label. But, she assured me that once Fedex picked up the package, they would refund my money. However, she never informed Fedex to pick up the package - so I again needed to contact Fedex to pick up the package and they never initiated the refund. I needed to call the company again. So...I needed to contact the company 4 times and Fedex twice to send back a package that I would never have ordered if their inventory system was accurate. What a total waste of time. If there was a zero stars rating I would give that. If you ever purchase anything and want to return it for any reason, you may as well keep or donate your item. They make you pay shipping AND retain $15 off of your purchase. So you end up paying them for an item you will not receive. Terrible experience. Save your time and Money and look elsewhere read more
