Sofa bed was very lumpy so it was good enough for a small kid, definitely not comfy for an adult. Everything in room was clean. It said we had a kitchenette which consisted of a mini fridge, sink, and low powered microwave. NO kitchenware. However, the person at front desk found some bowls for us. Made use of the large indoor pool, Jacuzzi, and wet sauna. The dry sauna didn't work. The fitness room only had a few machines but was enjoyed by other guests. It's located further from the downtown area which was fine for us as we wanted something quieter. There are several American restaurants within walking distance. Good value. Service was a bit non-responsive by phone but good in person.

Our king sized room has a somewhat separate area from the bed with a couch, table, fridge, sink, microwave. (Coffee maker too if that's your thing). The free breakfast is not good. I mean REALLY not good. The hard boiled eggs in the prepackaged two pack like you can get at a gas station is the only thing worth grabbing. Just plan on going to McDonald's next door in the morning. Haven't used the pool but the smell of chlorine hits you when you walk into the hotel. Front desk is always pleasant. We will continue staying here twice a year every year.

The continental breakfast was a little more substantial than I would have thought for a small hotel/motel like this. The rooms are decently clean, but definitely aged. Normally, if I needed it, I'd ask for a late checkout, but I had to be somewhere at noon. I wasn't expecting to hop on a video conference right before the 11am check out but I figured I could use the WiFi and run a few minutes over. Apparently, one woman was so anal, she knocked on our door right at 11 and gave me a dirty look when I told her I needed a minute. When I realized the call was going to be much longer than expected, I left at maybe 11:07. Then around 11:30, I got another call asking when I'd be out of the room...after I already left. When I said I had left just a few minutes after she had come by, it was as if she didn't believe me. It was just an odd interaction to conclude a long drive from Washington on the way back to California after an already long week. I think I'll choose another hotel next time. This one just seemed convenient for my appointment. Again, the rest of the staff was very courteous, just not this woman.

We had a nice stay at this Holiday Inn Express when visiting Crater Lake…read more This is a standard hotel with nice sized rooms. Our room was clean and had a small fridge and microwave. The fridge was handy as there were many grocery stores in the area to buy snacks and drinks. We used the indoor hot tub and pool during our visit. Both were great! The towels were fully stocked and the pool and hot tub were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was very good too. The staff worked hard to keep the food stocked when the breakfast rush arrived. My only complaint is the elevators. We took the stairs most of the time because the elevators would shake and seemed to pause for a few minutes before finally settling on the second floor to open the doors. At first we called the first elevator (on the left) "sketchy" after a few uses. We then revised the nickname to "sketchy 1" after using the elevator to the right, which we fondly named "sketchy 2." Both elevators were a little scary so we just used the stairs. Other than that we had a wonderful time at this Holiday Inn Express.

Can't say enough good things about Cynthia! I don't know if she's the manager, the night manager,…read moreor what, but she is absolutely the best. And if she's not the manager or the night manager, she should be! I booked this hotel on my way through Oregon through the IHG app. I like the IHG group of hotels and I had no issues with this hotel it's exactly what you would expect from IHG hotels and Holiday Inn Express. But will really set this place apart was, again, Cynthia! When I showed up she was friendly and courteous. There were other people waiting to check in and she handled all of our tasks professionally and deftly, I wasn't waiting for very long! Then, there was an issue with my room and Cynthia was able to accommodate me getting into a different room. Then I made a mistake with my key card and Cynthia helped me out with the most wonderful attitude. And finally helped me get settled into my room for the night. Checking into hotel can be stressful, especially when there's something that goes wrong, and especially when you make a mistake with misplacing your key card. Cynthia took all the stress out of that situation and really helped me out. The breakfast in the morning was a little limited, but the server was very friendly and helpful! So again, this hotel is great, but the star of the show here is definitely Cynthia!

The front desk manager/owner was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms aren't new but it was clean and had a fresh coat of paint. The bathrooms could use some upgrading but it was clean. The room was non smoking and did not smell. The wifi was there but not solid. The bed was comfy. The only real full flaw was there was no security chain on the inside of the door. Overall it was priced appropriately and I would do it again for a one night stay.

Additionally, when I called back the following day to hear an update on my room I was completely shut down. The man at the front desk told me he "didn't know what to tell me" because they didn't have footage of a person walking around with my belongings and that the cleaning service didn't attend to my room that day so that meant no one broke in. I responded by letting him know my question wasn't if someone had broken into my room, that was undeniable (a bag missing, my door ajar when I arrived back at my room, and drawers thrown open). My question was if they had identified who did it. The police officer that assisted during all of this even asked us why were staying at this particular hotel because they have had significant issues with the Travelodge in the past especially with previous supposed deactivated key cards still working to open doors they shouldn't. I could not give this place a lower review if I tried. If you care about your safety or even the cleanliness of where you sleep at night do not stay here.
