    Pepper steak pie.

Delicious pepper steak pie, we need more places like this on oahu. Meat pies are like the spam musubi of New Zeland and Australia quick bite and easy to eat on the go.

Just a Braddah giving an honest review. Let me start by saying it was DELICIOUS. TRULY DELICIOUS. However, even with inflation I can't see how we are at ELEVEN DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS FOR ONE (CHEESE BURGA SIZE) PIE. Bugga never even come with fries or one drink . If it was even half that price im buying a dozen and giving this place 5 stars all day long. But 11.50 for a minced (hamburger) and cheese was sticker shock. EVEN IN NEW ZEALAND THE PIES AVERAGE $7 WHICH IS LIKE $4 HERE. Just saying.

food curry meat pie- i'm personally not a meat pie fan but i could appreciate the flavor and curry was really brought out it had a nice crunch on the outside and a great soft thin bread layer on the inside vaifala- was exactly what i was craving for , a pineapple drink with a tinge of like a coconut milk or some kind of milk to balance the drink , it had some pineapple chunks , i thoroughly enjoyed this drink and finished it almost instantly service amazing super nice employee , potentially the owner food came out super quick ambiance no real ambiance since it's a food truck but theres good vibes emitting from the truck located in the polynesian culture center when i tried it prices quite pricey i spent $18 here for a med size drink and a hand sized meat pie so be prepared to put some money down if you come

Nice selecting of baked goods and assorted Kiwi pies. Everything looked delicious. We had the bakery assortment of brownies and 2 cheese vanishes. Donuts are only $2.50! Liliikoi tarts, glazed and chocolate donuts, oh my! It's definitely worth a stop. It's a green building right on Kam Hwy. Wai is the bakery and she the real deal.

It's a food truck so I can't give it 5 stars, but the food was quite good. We walked over from our hotel to the Marketplace which has a sit-down restaurant and several food trucks. The reviews for Kiwi Korner were good so we decided to try it for dinner on a Saturday. The wife and I had the curry chicken pot pie and it was very good. The curry was mild. It came out hot and the crust was flaky and not greasy. In August 2024 one pie cost $10. The wife was full after one but I probably could have eaten another. We also had the lemonade and it was real, not from a mix. Service was efficient and friendly. It's a food truck so you order and then find a nearby table, thus there is no ambience. I would definitely go back and try one of the meat pies, which are $11.

Some of the amazing treats they have!

This little bakery is special. Definitely make it part of your trip if you're coming around the west side of Oahu just south of Laie! The treats are spectacular and the people are just awesome.

I was sadly disappointed with my experience today. We live in Waipahu, but I am from New Zealand so I was excited when my cousin told me about this place. My son and his family were camping at Kahana Bay and we were down for the day. We decided to find this store and it was pretty easy to find. We don't eat breakfast so we're pretty hungry. We bought one mince and cheese pie and because my husband told them our day's background they gave him a steak and onion pie free. The pastry was great but the pie filling had so much pepper in it that you couldn't taste the meat or cheese. It even burned my mouth and my lips were swollen and sensitive. I was able to take two bites of the mince before I had to stop eating it (my husband who has a lava mouth was happy though). I waited a while to allow my mouth some time to cool down then decided to try the steak and onion pie. It was also very peppery In fact the top pastry was even covered in pepper much like a pepper steak would be, which should have been a hint. I don't know if this is how they intended the pies to taste but we did not like them at all. We decided on two stars because they gave us the second pie free I do not think I would recommend this store in the future

It was just a day trip date to the north shore. We passed by a tiny mom & pop shop in Punalu'u.(I think) I know it was close to the fire station! The sign outside read "The Kiwi Corner " so,Australian food sounds exotic & fun! Tired of the 2 scoops rice plate lunch yah? Ok,so we reached Polynesian Cultural Center in La'ie. Lot's of different grinds there! It was the first day of summer & believe me...it was for sure hot AND humid! We walked around, did some window shopping & started to get hungry (our main goal was to catch some grinds of course!) We come upon a cute little food truck "The Kiwi Corner "!!!!!! The same one we passed in Punalu'u! We were so happy & willing to try something new! I can't wait to tell you all about this amazing experience!!! Meat pies! Polynesian refreshing drinks! Dessert parfaits! Yum,yummy & yummers! I wanted everything! Hungry husband ordered a meat & cheese pie,I got a chicken curry pie & a cool ginger beer! Dat hit dat spot! Hungry husband gobbled it down so quickly I barely got a small bite to taste! He took a shark sized bite of the chicken curry and didn't want to give it back! Well, that's not the end of the story my dear readers.... He went to order ANOTHER ONE! So,I asked for one more chicken curry pie! Yep!!! It was so delicious! Crunchy buttery crust, lots of filling (and not air like most places) Mine had tender cubed chicken breast, peas & carrots. You know,I inhaled that so quickly that I don't know if it had potatoes or not!!! He he he ! The meat & cheese was a ground beef & American cheese with a dark & rich brown gravy! Sumptuous! My ginger beer was very cold, over ice, maybe 24ozs or so. Not too sweet but just right! (Let's all quote Rap Replinger) It seemed strained because it was very clear,no pulp.I wanted more, especially on a humid day in Lai'e! Service was friendly & quick. She laughed at us when we wanted another order! Nice shady wooden tables with cute umbrellas kept us from sunburn and improved the ambiance especially with wonderful company! Please support small businesses like this. They put out really good food & great service! Good luck to them!

OMG! I almost put my foot through the floor of the car hitting the brakes when I saw the word Kiwi Pies!!!!! These are THE real deal folks, real kiwi meat pies. As good as any you will find in Aotearoa. Ordered the meat and cheese and meat and onion. The first bite took me back to our first trip to Aotearoa in 2011. Kiwi Korner also has a wonderful selection of pastries including a German Chocolate mini-cake topped with a chattily coconut cream. This is a MUST stop in Laie. Mahalo and best of luck Angie!!!!

Nestled at the very edge of the Polynesian Cultural Center parking lot is this unassuming food truck that serves the BEST MEAT PIES YOU'LL EVER HAVE. My husband and I were hungry after a long day of hikes and touristing and saw "meat pies" listed as a nearby option in the PCC pamphlet. We wandered around the dining area until we found the truck. The owner was very kind and assured us every option would be delicious. We opted to share a steak and cheese pie. That quickly turned out to be a mistake. Because we wolfed down the thing in 5 minutes and instantly regretted not getting another one. We regretted it so much we returned later that day to get another one! The steak and cheese as super juicy and cheesy on the inside, which was a nice contrast to the crispy, flaky, delicious crust. The chicken curry that we tried when we came back was so savory and flavorful - it was absolutely worth the 25 min drive to return here. We also tried the chocolate banana trifle. Oh man. I usually don't love overly sweet, chocolatey desserts but this was the perfect blend of creamy and not-too-sweet chocolate flavor. I loved the crunchy bits they add to the top to give it texture. The pineapple drink (Vaifala) was also fantastic. It is basically a creamy, heavenly pineapple drink with bits of real pineapple. So refreshing on a hot summer day. Honestly? We'll probably be back tomorrow to try the mince and cheese pie. Hands down our favorite meal in Oahu!

Picked up a couple of meat pies to take home for later, loved them but I should have gone earlier as many of the fillings were not available after midday. What I did try though really was enjoyable. I would also recommend this place for one of its desserts, trifle! This was just fantastic, although seemingly a little pricey was worth every penny as you can probably see in the photo. Definitely a place worth visiting even if just for the trifle dessert!

Food truck parked by the Polynesian Cultural Center that sells the best meat pies on Oahu. I ordered one to snack on while driving to Kualoa Ranch. Didn't start eating it until 30 minutes later. By the time I finished, I was already turned around driving 30 min back to the PCC for another. Absolutely well done. Pineapple drink was fantastic too.

I've never tried Samoan cuisine ( does Palm Corned Beef count? Jk ) and it is similar to Hawaiian. I requested the Regular Plate from the nice employee, a man of few words. I asked a couple of questions...he pointed...it worked. Got the Luau Mamoe as the single entree choice. You then have the option of mac salad or Sapa Sui ( not exactly a traditional dish, I am guessing ). Lastly, there is a choice from banana, rice, or taro. Sapa Sui is simiar to Korean japchae, with cubed pork and frozen mixed vegetables - peas, carrots, and corn. Quite good with a strong soy sauce flavor. Luau Mamoe is like Hawaiian beef/squid luau. Stewed in coconut milk, taro leaves are mixed with New Zealand lamb. Negative: too many bones. Positive: luau leaves are always good. Taro...if I was hungry...could've finished both chunks of steamed taro. It was a lot. Poly Plate offers two entree choices. Street metered parking. I don't think I had had Samoan food before, and now I am thankful that I have. I got the Poly plate because I can eat-- two entrees, and a choice of rice, taro, and faʻi. I couldn't decide between the three carb options, so Ron gave me a little bit of each which together combined into a proper portion! I got the kale mamoe (lamb curry) and the mulpipi (turkey tails). I love lamb, and I had never seen turkey tails offered anywhere before, so I had to try it. I also got Tia's signature pie (a pineapple peach pie) which was very good, and very sweet! The meat half moon pie is also so good. Honestly, you can't go wrong with the food here. Everything was delicious.

The food was mediocre, with far less variety than we anticipated. Most of the dishes were underseasoned and nothing really stood out. The oyster fried rice was probably the best item on the buffet. We paid for the VIP package, which included an extra drink, early access to the buffet, closer seating to the stage, and lei making. Even with those perks, the overall caliber of the show, food, and venue felt more like a complimentary resort activity than a premium luau experience. We attended with a group of 14 and ordered from the drink menu. Unfortunately, our waitress was slow to take drink orders, so despite the VIP package, we never even got around to ordering our third (very sugary) drink before the evening was over. Finally, the audience participation was only for about 5 guests. Overall, while the performers did a great job, the food, venue, service, and value simply didn't justify the price.
