I ordered a Le Creuset stock pot from here a week ago, and had some trouble with the payment/billing address online. I called them, and the manager called me back within 10 minutes and assured me she would hold the stock pot for my order in case it didn't go through due to the payment/billing mismatch. The order went through just fine, and with standard shipping it arrived at the destination the very next day, in perfect condition. Ordered 2 martini glasses on 12/30. Transaction was charged to my credit card on 12/31 with estimated delivery of 1/6. Today is 1/31 and I have not received the glasses. Tracking indicates the shipping label was created but UPS has not received the package. I have emailed customer service numerous times! I received one response apologizing for the issue and saying they would look into it and get back to me ASAP. That was over a week ago and I have not heard back. Have emailed again multiple times and received no response. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!!! read more

I went in to buy a sink stopper and the girl asked if I needed help and i explained to her what I was wanting and she said that should work. Once we reached the counter she asked the other girl next to her if this would work and she also said yes...this item was 10.00. I tried putting it into the sink and it was the WRONG ONE, as I was trying to remove it the item was caught and I struggled to remove it and when I did it ripped...that was the wrong item and it got destroyed as I removed it...I went to exchange it for something else but they said they had to talk to the manager and next owner...after a week or so they REFUSED TO REPLACE IT NOR REFUND ME...again it was $10.00...so that $10 was worth them losing a customer and I'm sure others will recognize their loyalty to their customers.This is unbelievable how they treat their customers... so my advice don't ask about any items because they were not knowledgeable about this item and I paid the price..... read more

Really enjoyed our visit to your store! We are from out of town, we will visit again. Everyone very helpful to hubby and I, since we had dog with us and had to shop in shifts !! Do waste your time. This place offers nothing you can't find for half the price elsewhere. On top of everything being really expensive, they where rude and stared at me the entire time. I came I looking to finish up a few Christmas gifts but what I left with was a very bad taste in my mouth. Do not assume everyone is stealing from your over priced store! The staff made me feel very unwelcome. If the customer service would have been better I could have over looked the ridiculously priced crap. read more

Exceptional content in the store. Provides a huge selection of great kitchen equipment and tools. I could definitely spend hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars there. That being said, the staff was not attentive. I spent over an hour in the shop with an intent to spend, and not one peep from the staff. Ended up buying my wishlist from Amazon instead. Need to wait 2 days, but satisfaction is much higher. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I think people on here are getting confused is it a restaurant or a store? Let's start as a store. It has EVERY kitchen gadget that is known to man . If you don't like their prices, (which I found reasonable ) so be it. Go somewhere else . NOW, the shining star. The lunch. I had a perfectly cooked piece of fresh pan seared mahi mahi served with asparagus and sweet potatoes . I'd pay 38 dollars for this meal in New Orleans with pleasure . My side salad was also perfect ( and only 1.99 extra). My client had perfected cooked panned grilled shrimp ( a whole bunch of them) on a fresh salad with a beautiful homemade creamy balsamic . I devoured the gumbo , and to the chef , please understand this, as gumbo is such a personal thing, it had a bit more bite than I am used to even in Lafayette with your wonderful dark rouxs. The last two meals I have had at the Kitchenary were not very good. One was seafood gumbo that was way overdone. Had the gumbo been cooked and then reheated when ordered it would have been much better than letting it sit on the fire. The other was crawfish that again were way overdone. read more

After doing some shopping at Koi, next door, my mother, daughter, and I walked over to the Kitchenary to browse. Apparently, the staff doesn't like it if you bring a shopping bag from another store in. One of the workers made that very obvious by alternately staring at my bag from Koi and making eye contact with me, as if to say "I'm watching you". She then followed us around the store, watching us from behind shelves, and asking if we needed help repeatedly. Honestly, if I were going to shoplift, I would pick something more high dollar than the ramekins she seemed to think I was somehow pocketing. "Clink clink clink...nothing to see here". Please. I'd also plan my shoplifting trip around NOT having my mother and two year old daughter with me. If anyone is able to go shoplifting with a toddler in tow, they deserve some kind of kudos for talent. Kitchenary, I promise you that you have lost far more profit from my family than I could have conceivably fit in my bag from Koi today. read more

Went to buy a coffee press around lunch time today. I noticed the purveyor had expanded to include a "foodies dream kitchen." The fare today was Hawaiian pork chops with pineapple popcorn rice and organic sweet potato soufflé complimented with a pineapple and raspberry chutney finished with floral micro-greens. I also sampled a large serving of the apple pie bread pudding drizzled with honey. ALL of this was local fresh organic GOOD FOOD. No sugar in the bread pudding.?.? Thanks, I'll be back!! read more

I am African American and My brothers and I were shopping here in search of a Christmas gift for our parents and were followed around by the staff. There were probably 50 customers in the store while we were and I watched as the staff made a valiant effort to follow us as if they expect us to steal something.
