Our experience was really bad and under some difficult circumstances. We already had a carpet cleaning appointment with the company we'd used for the past several years. Excel Carpet Cleaning in Maple Valley, however we bought a house that was contingent upon us marketing our house within 5 days and our appointment was after then and they couldn't fit us in sooner. So our realtor scheduled King of Clean. He told us he wanted $800. We showed him that estimate our cleaner gave us for $409, but he wouldn't match it. We had no other options than to go with him. He told us that his equipment was superior and that our company doesn't do as good a job. His equipment left permanent swirls and lines in our carpet that we repeatedly tried to vacuum out unsuccessfully. It also didn't clean the edges in many areas leaving us to have to try to clean them hours before marketing our home (see photos). We were so busy for the next 6 weeks that we didn't have the time to contact him to complain and weren't in a position to have him come back out. By the time we moved, the stains on the Berber carpet had whacked back through, leaving the carpet as bad looking as before it was cleaned. I hadn't had that problem with my previous cleaner. Garrett did return my text with a call, but basically told me because it was past 30 days and our payment was already processed, he couldn't give any type of refund. I even asked if I could give him my credit card info and he said no. Maybe he could have come back out to try to fix the damage, however in our situation that was not possible. Unfortunately the new owners of the home are stuck with the awful looking carpet. read more
