    Maya is incredible!…read more I'm an enthusiastic martial artist, but it's been a long road over the last year and a half to reclaiming my body, getting back in shape, and understanding my own definition of "healthy" again. Maya was recommended to me through some of the senior students at my dojo, and I'm thrilled that I worked up the nerve to start working with her. I'm amazed at what I've been able to accomplish through my sessions with her. In just a couple months I more than doubled many of my metrics, I've lost ten pounds, and my stamina hasn't been this great since I was an athlete in high school. My core strength in particular - I don't know that it's ever been this good. I started working with Maya to be a better martial artist, and the results speak for themselves. Three months ago I was struggling to control my kicks enough to keep my leg chambered after a kick, and now I don't ever have to set my foot down between kicks if I don't want to. My sparring is faster and more controlled, and I have much better balance. Not only has my strength improved significantly, but my eating habits have improved as well. Maya reviews my food logs and coaches me on my habits, educates me on how food affects my sleep and resting state, and has helped me accept when I falter from my diet and has helped me continue despite missteps without self-criticism. It's been a wonderful experience and I look forward to continuing!

I had a consultation with Noah a few months ago now, about my wants and needs of personal training. I already do Muay Thai and running on my own. I wanted to add some strength training in but it's been awhile and needed some direction. I filled out very thorough paperwork. I was matched with one of the trainers, Brett, and I couldn't be happier. There are different packages to accommodate all needs and budget. Overall I am happy and would recommend. They also have group classes but I haven't done so I can't comment on that.

JoJo was perfect! Great fun, great workouts, didn't let me slack, and really paid attention to technique - because she listened to me and observed my movements, I was able to do more than I thought I could (since I hadn't done anything for 2 years) and feel so much better physically and mentally! While I didn't participate in the group sessions, they were going on when I was doing my personal sessions -- looked and heard like a super group of friendly people who are all there to do the right thing, have fun as a group while getting into shape and learning to work out the right way. The coaches are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and know how to push you! Dorian led this class and was fantastic, really making sure you got the most of the workout & doing a great job of motivating and pushing you to finish up the last reps! The workouts alternate every other day between weight- lifting or cardio focused, and the specific workouts at each station are always changing! I'd highly recommend if you live in the area to check them out! They do have a few dedicated parking spots in front of the building OR you can always park for free at the Amli parking garage! Every day there is a different training routine with new exercises, so no chance to get bored. Your mind and your body will be very thankful for that. The playlist during workouts is very chill and empowering at the same time. It makes me feel like I am an Olympic Games participant If you are looking for a gym where you will be a part of great team - F-45 is for you. And if you are looking for personal trainings - surprise, F-45 is also a good match. It's a paradox, but I feel like it's a team workout and personal training at the same time! You will be working out on your own station, but there's always a coach around you in case you have some questions. It made me feel like I was on the personal training session. There are always two coaches that support and guide you through all workouts. COVID updates: the gym is very clean. After warm up you will receive your personal sanitizer and a small towel for cleaning your station. Before entering gym coaches will check your temperature. After each training all equipment is sanitized with machine that looks like the blaster from the "Ghostbusters" movie I cannot recommend a particular class or coach because I liked all of them so far. What I can recommend for sure, is to check out this F-45 south shore location. You're gonna love it!
