Maya was recommended to me through some of the senior students at my dojo, and I'm thrilled that I worked up the nerve to start working with her. I'm amazed at what I've been able to accomplish through my sessions with her. In just a couple months I more than doubled many of my metrics, I've lost ten pounds, and my stamina hasn't been this great since I was an athlete in high school. My core strength in particular - I don't know that it's ever been this good. I started working with Maya to be a better martial artist, and the results speak for themselves. Three months ago I was struggling to control my kicks enough to keep my leg chambered after a kick, and now I don't ever have to set my foot down between kicks if I don't want to. My sparring is faster and more controlled, and I have much better balance. Not only has my strength improved significantly, but my eating habits have improved as well. Maya reviews my food logs and coaches me on my habits, educates me on how food affects my sleep and resting state, and has helped me accept when I falter from my diet and has helped me continue despite missteps without self-criticism. Every day there is a different training routine with new exercises, so no chance to get bored. Your mind and your body will be very thankful for that. The playlist during workouts is very chill and empowering at the same time. It makes me feel like I am an Olympic Games participant If you are looking for a gym where you will be a part of great team - F-45 is for you. And if you are looking for personal trainings - surprise, F-45 is also a good match. It's a paradox, but I feel like it's a team workout and personal training at the same time! You will be working out on your own station, but there's always a coach around you in case you have some questions. It made me feel like I was on the personal training session. There are always two coaches that support and guide you through all workouts. COVID updates: the gym is very clean. After warm up you will receive your personal sanitizer and a small towel for cleaning your station. Before entering gym coaches will check your temperature. After each training all equipment is sanitized with machine that looks like the blaster from the "Ghostbusters" movie I cannot recommend a particular class or coach because I liked all of them so far. People walking around shirtless, dripping sweat, stinking, in bare feet, only socks, crocs, and Teva sandles. Nasty. Old dilapidated and low quality dumbbells, only 2 old treadmills and a few of the manual treadmills, no fixed weight barbells, a bathroom falling apart with the toilet bowl cover hanging on by one hinge. No air conditioning. Hot and smelly. Humid atmosphere. Couldn't draw up a worse gym in my imagination. To me it's 1 star but I guess to cross fit cultists this is what they like. Only a few smoothie choices and no chicken wraps or anything in their nutrition bar or whatever it's called. If you know how to work out and don't need or want a trainer or group then this place is definitely not for you. They do an incredible job on marketing and must edit photos or take superb angles like a catfish on tinder. Almost thinking they pay influencers to hype this place up. Either way I'd prefer the most basic Planet Fitness or Crunch 100x over this. In fact I'd rather get chubby and not work out over having to work out in an environment like this again.
