I have been to Kennel Klub on several occasion to have my dogs groomed and had good service; however, I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I called the week of Thanksgiving and ask for an appt for the following week. When I showed up for my appt on Friday, they couldn't find me in the computer. The receptionist told me to come back on Sat between 9-11 am, that they do "1st come, 1st serve" and to make sure I was there early. I got there before the door was unlocked. I was the 2nd person in line. I dropped my 2 dogs off, wrote ASAP on the sheet and ask that they call me about 30 minutes before they were done. At 3 pm I called them and asked when my dogs would be ready, she told me 5 pm. The receptionist called me back at 3:45 pm to say they were ready. I picked them up only to get home and find my dog looked like she had been crying and had a scratch on her eye. She wouldn't even do her evening walk. I took her to the vet on Monday. The vet informed me it wasn't a scratch it was an EYE INJURY, that the top layer of her eye was almost completely gone. Now several hundred dollars in vet bills for my dogs injured eye, an appt that got lost, being lied to about "1st come, 1st serve", I highly recommend you find some place else to go. fyi - the groomer was Marilis and I did call an inform them what happened.

Dog pooping blood!

Took my dog for boarding and upon picking him up he was frightened, wouldn't make eye contact, and was moving slowly. All total opposite from his normal hyperactive self. Upon getting him home, he drank water like he hasn't had water in days. Also, not sure what Kennel Klub fed him because the dog food we left was practically still almost full... he was there from Thursday to Tuesday. Our dog is also pooping blood and has been for two days. Called and spoke to Maria to request the owner or manager. She said Courtney wasn't in. Upon calling Kennel Klub again, Maria hung up on my husband. He called back again and the "owner" Michael answered. My husband told Michael that something happened to our dog and that he was traumatized and bleeding and that we wanted a refund plus pay for vet visit. Michael said that's happens to animals and said they weren't doing anything about it. My husband let him know we'd be posting a review, and he said he didn't care if we were posting a review. In his words he said "do it!" NEVER take your pet to this establishment.

I have been taking my dogs here for day care weekly for over a year. The socialize has been so good for them, the exercise year round helps with all our sleep. Our newest addition is slowly coming out of his shell. We have used the boarding and had a great experience. I guess it is time to try the trainers!

Painful grooming.

Do not use Kennel Klub. I had been using them for many years when they added new staff to do the grooming. They burned one dogs paw using the nail grinder so bad he had to go to the vet and was put on antibiotics and pain medication. The other dog was cut on both ears. My boys are miserable right now I have since researched the Kennel Klub and found we were not the only ones who has received bad service from them.

The Eye

Brought my dog for a groom paid an extra $10 because she is old and a nervous dog. Well I picked her up and her eye would not open...hour later it swelled up double in size her(the photo is from right after I picked her up) a $64 groom cost me an extra $360 vet bill and 3 hours in the er for them to tell me it was because she got shampoo in her eye. I paid for testing to get a direct answer and it was in fact the shampoo and nothing else. I have spoke with the manager already about this problem and she told me they use a "tear free" shampoo and they are aware. We are hoping she will not loose her eye which is a high possibility which is what the doctor told me. She is now on 3 different medications and feeling miserable.

What a mani/pedi!

Always pleased with the services. Prices very reasonable for boarding and grooming. Kevin is the best! He always leaves our babies (Blue and Cleo) so fresh and so clean, clean!

GREAT FACILITY ! My dog nico freaks out at any place that isn't home and they are always so patient with us... GREAT STAFF. I trust them w my fur brat I mean baby haha thank y'all for putting up with us (he's a brat and hates being around other animals) also he's been groomed here a few times and he always comes back so clean fluffy and soft . He hates baths from Anyone. Also I've never had an issue with them clipping his nails incorrectly like some of the other reviews say and he has THICK nails

You probably can't tell but this is a Mini Goldendoodle and a Aussiedoodle. WE ARE SO PISSED. we went in there to get them shaved down and they literally shaved them down. They said a 7 and like any other person would think we thought it was a 7 guard on the shaver and not one of them took the time to explain. After telling them and driving back to tell them that we were not happy and this is not what we expected they said they knew exactly what we wanted but it was a miscommunication. No one buys a doodle and tells a groomer to shave them this short all the way around and if there is a miscommunication take them time to explain to us what we are getting. Even when we take them to the petsmart groomer they explain to us what we are getting and even show a coat example on a board. A doodle is clearly a trimmed face with a shaved or cut short body. These people just say we knew what you wanted but we gave you what you told us because you don't know the "groomer terminology". After going back to explain how unhappy we were they never once offered a refund or a cut the next time we came in just continued to say it was our fault. $162 for a shave anyone else could have done for free. Not to mention they had us pay before we checked out and I gave them a tip because I expected the same doodle cut that is always given even if I say shave them down. Completely unhappy and will make sure to tel everyone with a doodle to avoid at all costs. Not to mention the cuts are uneven all the way around including long hairs all between the paws. I EXPECTED MY MONEY BACK just like if you got a bad cut at any other barber or salon!

We took our husky to get groomed here, I have no idea what happened to her while she was there but this is how her eyes look now. If you care about your pets do not take them to this place. We're making an appointment with the vet if it doesn't clear up. The entire whites of her eyes are bright red!!

I have been using the kennel Klub daycare for about 4 years now since my baby was old enough to join their daycare. They have taking such good care of my babies, they update you throughout the day with Facebook pictures and even sometimes report cards at the end of the day . I absolutely love everyone there especially miss. Jordyn . My dogs adore her !!! I trust her with them and if they get in trouble she handles it and puts them in time out just like I would . It has been such an awesome experience letting my babies socialize without taking them to a dog park . I love you kennel Klub, thanks for everything ! I'll be taking them back soon !

This facility doesn't even deserve 1 star! Been an animal lover my whole life. I been quite but it's so frustrating to know The Kennel Klub on Highway 6 murdered our animal. How can a 3 year old healthy, well fed dog with NO medical issues go into a boarding school for training for 3 weeks and never make it out alive. Our dog died of a heat stroke in 88degree weather with his body temp being 107.3 and admitted severely dehydrated.. If you live in houston/Katy/cypress area I'm warning you to not allow your animals to attend this facility. They lie and trying to cover up his death. Share and spread the word.

At first, we appreciated their services, but over time, the issues piled up: - Inadequate cameras in the play area that don't cover the full space, leaving us unsure of what really happens. - "Pawgress" reports included photos of other dogs, not Crosby, making us question if she was even getting the attention we paid for. - Fearful reactions--Crosby started shaking and whining at drop-off, which she never used to do. - Unfulfilled services: Multiple times, we paid for grooming (including Furmination) only for her to come home completely untouched, despite wearing a bandana like she'd been groomed. Staff apologized and promised refunds, but nothing changed. The final straw? After her last "grooming," Crosby came home filthy, stinking like creek water, and with thick layer of loose fur--proof she hadn't been brushed, let alone Furminated. When I complained, they offered a refund (still not received). It's heartbreaking to leave after three years, but PetSuites has repeatedly failed our trust. Crosby deserves better, and so do you. See the photo--this is how much fur came out after her supposed "groom." Unacceptable. Do better, PetSuites. Even then, we won't be back.

After all that time and after speaking with someone on the phone extensively the day before, I was told that he was missing the dog flu vaccine and that it's required. Also, this is what it says on their website: Recommended Vaccine Canine Influenza: We accept the 12-month Canine Influenza vaccine (It is not required but is recommended when having your dog in any setting with other dogs) So the employee who was trying to check me in and the employee helping her lied! What a waste of my time!

The staff is rude upon arrival it's like we can't even park there without out them coming outside harassing us trying to make sure we are customers and not just parents waiting to pick up their children. SIDE-NOTE: there is more than enough empty parking spaces. They don't even get that much business during the time school lets out. Why not be generous and let the parents pick up their children safely. ITS UNCALLED FOR!!! I am so upset and will be taking my business elsewhere!!!! One lady was there in the parking lot picking up her children and she wasn't even there long before one of the workers outside literally yelled at here saying "this is private property not school parking" it was so nasty and rude! As I sat in my car while on the phone before my dogs appointment I decided not to come back. These poor parents are already suffering enough because the district got rid of school buses and they are worried about their children walking 2 miles home!! And now they are being harassed by businesses. It's so sad!!!! I have pictures & name of the worker but I won't even embarrass her like that. She knows exactly who she is

The shop opens at 7AM and I was told I could bring her by anytime before 10AM. The location is really close to my home and easy to spot from the street. Look for the building that say Dog Training in big white letters across the front. Very close to the intersection of West Little York and Queenston next to a small tire shop. Upon walking in I was really amazed at the fact that it doesn't smell or look like your typical dog groomers. It is extremely clean.. modern and minimal in design. Thankfully no pets running around or waiting in the front to be picked up like some places. Prices are listed by size/weight on the counter and shows included services. I opted for an all inclusive package that includes bath, nails, glad expression and teeth for $20 bucks for my 8lb chihuahua. I brought her shot records when I arrive and they made a copy. I also had to fill out a brief info sheet with my information for them to keep on hand. Mia was a little nervous as usual but I got the vibe that they were dog people and caring so I trusted them with my baby. I appreciate that they called to verify if I wanted them to cut her whiskers before they did it. I declined because she's never had them trimmed and I think she looks cute with them the way they are. Like a little catfish lol! 1 hour later they called to let me know she was ready for pick up. Her nails were done really well (low & even) and she smells super fresh. I think this will be our go-to Groomer going forward. They also do Dog Training, Daycare and overnight Boarding. I might consider those services in the future. Like I said I'm impressed and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants quality pet care.
