Its helpful that Dr. Sager is the only vet, as there is no group of scared animals waiting to go in. Our last vet always added extra levels of anxiousness to Charlie's experience due to the waiting room environment - which was much like sitting in a hospital as a person. Yikes. Dr. Sager was great with Charlie and very informative for the people. We learned a lot and he was happy to answer any/all questions. We did not feel rushed, either. The price was very cheap as well, which was a great surprise. Charlie wasn't even very upset about being there - shot in his butt and all.

Pauline and Mickey, who work there also, are super friendly and caring. I have peacocks and it is hard to find a vet to care for them when problems arise. Dr. Sager's knowledge of all animals, including exotics, (peafowl), is vast. I also have brought my cats to him. He never rushes through an appointment, spends lots of time explaining his diagnosis and treatments. Sager Animal Hospital is the best animal hospital anywhere. I am lucky to have them as my vet/ hospital.

He is a "Freebird", sorry Lynard, and I was wrought with worry and Cracker hasn't been here since 2010 as he's been a healthy bird, thank God hasn't really needed care. But this incident has changed his "flight privilege's" and he will be on lockdown when we go out. He had FREE reign at our house. I called yesterday afternoon and they had NO slots open and asked me to call at opening today to accommodate me. Being me, I wanted the top Chief of Staff to see my pal, cus I always go for the gold, which would have been Dawn Brooks. But she was out today. The girls I spoke with at the front Desk, Sonia and Melanie over the last 2 days assured me regardless of who saw Cracker, he was in good hands. So I just got back from a short notice accommodative visit for my 18 year old Cockatiel "Cracker" and the girls were right. Cracker has a new girlfriend in Dr. Kara Radzinski and a new best friend in tech Declan O' Day (wonder if he's Irish?) What seemed like a short time after Cracker went in, Dr. Radzinski called me as I'm in the car worried sick, and went over everything, reassured me he would be ok, gave me some good care tips for the future, but he's grounded for now. He was diagnosed thoroughly which in itself was a miracle as Cracker answers to no one and gets stressed easily. I played it smart and brought him in a covered cage, with a folder of notes and pix of his environment, Declan came out and took him in. Luckily Cracker will be ok, a bit arthritic and he apparently banged himself on a bogus journey, but nothing broken. Dr. did a full vital check-up and "all his motors" are running well. I had written a novel about my bird, his problem, his habits, and his lifestyle. Declan LISTENED to every concern and tips I could offer about how to treat "Mr. Impossible" and before I knew it we were done!! So to Dr. Brooks, looks like you can stay home. Your entire medical team and awesome staff of girls has got you covered. Mr. Impossible has a new Doctor! Color me extremely grateful. Additionally: As I came on to write a review, because I'm working class and will always give kudos where due to working class, I was surprised to see a really negative review from 2019. That person has to have the wrong place listed. This place was paradise for me and Cracker.

I have always been pleased at the level of communication and the extent they go to help you understand any issues your pet may be having. Mine did for several years, but I was never pushed to do a million tests, nor was I made to feel bad when had decisions to make. What I am completely impressed with was how amazing and compassionate they were when we had to make a decision to let our cat have her final rest :(. I won't get into details, but they really made us feel that we had done the right thing, and that we had, "timed it perfectly". We had agonized with the decision for about a month. The technician, who has been there a long time (she has blond hair), was awesome. Everytime she is professional and sweet. This time she was like a friend I have known forever. She was so compassionate, sharing her story of her dog, Honestly I don't think I could have gotten through those 45 minutes without her. A very tough decision that had to be made was dealt with in a loving and humane way. The entire staff is awesome. We will go there again when we are all ready to bring a new family member into our home. Which my toddler would like sooner, rather then later.

Unlike other places I have gone in the past, they do not push unnecessary procedures on you. They give you their best advice and let you know if they think something is truly necessary. The other thing that sold me on them is their willingness and availability to see you last minute. My dog had an overnight emergency and they ushered me in bright and early with no appointment. Places I've been in the past are booked for months and refuse to see you without an appointment.

I need to praise Dr Lori Kriedburg of Metrowest Mobile Vets. In a word, she is AWESOME…read more I found her when a local animal hospital suggested that I take my business - and my cat, whom they INSISTED on sedating every time they would see him - elsewhere. Shadowcat simply hated vets' offices. Well, they suggested Dr Lori, which was the BEST thing they ever did for my cat! Dr Lori makes house calls! She comes to visit your pet in the safety of your own home, so if your critter doesn't travel well or hates the vet's office, this is ideal. She's very caring and you can see this in her manner. She talks to the animal and tries to make sure it's comfortable with her while she's examining it, and you can tell from her manner she truly loves the animals she treats. The most amazing thing about her is how she says goodbye - if she's had to give the animal a shot, or draw blood, the critter will usually go and hide after she's done. Well, after she does up her bill and just before she leaves, she asks to go see your pet so that the last memory the pet has of her is her saying goodbye and petting him (or her) and NOT of getting a shot. And she TALKS to the critter! Not like some vets where the animal is just a piece of meat the vet is examining. Nope, she cares for your pet like it was her own. And - this is a hard part to write - if your pet is getting old and sick, she's the first to work with you to try and heal the pet (cause let's face it, you need to give the home care after she leaves)... and if it's just time for your pet to go find his Door Into Summer, she's very compassionate about it. She understands that we love our pets and she respects that. She helped my Shadowcat find his Door Into Summer this week after helping us keep Shadow alive until he was almost 17... and though I don't have a cat now, I will again... and Dr. Lori will be the one I trust it's health to. I'd give her 10 stars if I could. She's just the best.

They were too traumatized to ever get into the carrier, much less visit the vet, so having her come to the house was pretty much the only way to get even routine vaccinations and examinations for them. I can't recommend her highly enough.
