Pauline and Mickey, who work there also, are super friendly and caring. I have peacocks and it is hard to find a vet to care for them when problems arise. Dr. Sager's knowledge of all animals, including exotics, (peafowl), is vast. I also have brought my cats to him. He never rushes through an appointment, spends lots of time explaining his diagnosis and treatments. Sager Animal Hospital is the best animal hospital anywhere. I am lucky to have them as my vet/ hospital.

Any time one of our dogs is ill, the office staff ensures we get an appointment ASAP. When our recent dog, Fiona, was extremely ill and in the ICU, both Dr. Bleck and Dr. Baigelman did a full review of all of her lab work/imaging and full ICU stay to help us come up with the best way to manage her care moving forward. I had some minor concerns about my previous vet, name and details withheld. That, and how close FF is, made me give them a try. That was several years ago, and I'm so glad I did! One of my cats needs to be shaved every few months - she gets serious clumps. She used to get put under anesthesia to have this done. Dr. Baigelman said he thought he could do it without putting her under. This cat is rather opinionated, so I was skeptical, but sure enough! The first time was the only time he took her in the back room. He does it right in front of me. It's incredible! And as others have said, the staff are fantastic also, every one of them. They all care. I haven't had any experience with Dr. Bleck, but other people I know say he's just as good with people and animals as Dr. Baigelman is. I know all of this should be a given at a vet's office, but it isn't. PS - the place is always sparkling clean. Again, that shouldn't be noteworthy. Almost every vet's office I've been to has been sparkling clean. Only almost all of them.

All i can say for this vet either they are greedy or careless or both.

I'm still upset over how terrible I was treated recently at Littleton Animal Hospital!! They have…read moreadopted this new policy of being a "fear free, stress free environment for pets and employees"..... but they have taken it to the EXTREME!!! I relayed concerns over the phone of how poorly our dog's vet appointment went last year, while booking her an annual for this year. I relayed that my dog has high anxiety and would be better served if the staff would try to do the exam/shots within a reasonable time block. Basically, a normal pet exam/shots. Apparently, I came across on the phone as verbally aggressive!! I got a nasty email from the office manager Allison accusing me of being verbally abusive to their staff!! She declined animal care for all my pets and said I was no longer welcome at Littleton Animal Hospital because I didn't respect their practice philosophy. I had just been there 2 days prior. Our cat had her annual exam. I asked for an itemized print out of the charges after the exam and asked if the blood panel fee of $157. was for a full panel not partial. That is a reasonable question to ask. I was then accused in the "notes" that were in our pets summary report as being rude!! I have never felt so misunderstood, disrespected in my entire life!! Now I am gladly going to find a new vet for my pets! I am also very heartbroken bc I am not this terrible person they made me out to be in the nasty email I was sent!! I love my pets and I know them best and want to make their experience at the vet the least stressful as possible!! They expect a "perfect" no stress, zero fear based environment!! I think they are mainly worried about "how they feel as employees" verses the best possible way to approach the specific animal. I think they have lost sight of what an animal hospital is supposed to be!! Maybe they should consider becoming a practice of providing pet therapist.

Unlike other places I have gone in the past, they do not push unnecessary procedures on you. They give you their best advice and let you know if they think something is truly necessary. The other thing that sold me on them is their willingness and availability to see you last minute. My dog had an overnight emergency and they ushered me in bright and early with no appointment. Places I've been in the past are booked for months and refuse to see you without an appointment.

In a word, she is AWESOME…read more I found her when a local animal hospital suggested that I take my business - and my cat, whom they INSISTED on sedating every time they would see him - elsewhere. Shadowcat simply hated vets' offices. Well, they suggested Dr Lori, which was the BEST thing they ever did for my cat! Dr Lori makes house calls! She comes to visit your pet in the safety of your own home, so if your critter doesn't travel well or hates the vet's office, this is ideal. She's very caring and you can see this in her manner. She talks to the animal and tries to make sure it's comfortable with her while she's examining it, and you can tell from her manner she truly loves the animals she treats. The most amazing thing about her is how she says goodbye - if she's had to give the animal a shot, or draw blood, the critter will usually go and hide after she's done. Well, after she does up her bill and just before she leaves, she asks to go see your pet so that the last memory the pet has of her is her saying goodbye and petting him (or her) and NOT of getting a shot. And she TALKS to the critter! Not like some vets where the animal is just a piece of meat the vet is examining. Nope, she cares for your pet like it was her own. And - this is a hard part to write - if your pet is getting old and sick, she's the first to work with you to try and heal the pet (cause let's face it, you need to give the home care after she leaves)... and if it's just time for your pet to go find his Door Into Summer, she's very compassionate about it. She understands that we love our pets and she respects that. She helped my Shadowcat find his Door Into Summer this week after helping us keep Shadow alive until he was almost 17... and though I don't have a cat now, I will again... and Dr. Lori will be the one I trust it's health to. I'd give her 10 stars if I could. She's just the best.

They were too traumatized to ever get into the carrier, much less visit the vet, so having her come to the house was pretty much the only way to get even routine vaccinations and examinations for them. Over the years they have become much more socialized, and are completely comfortable with her. She's very knowledgeable, has a wonderful manner with the animals, and with their humans as well. I can't recommend her highly enough.
