I took my previous dogs to different vets…read more Since my dog is still young I haven't had too many issues that required special visits other than annual physicals, however when I have needed them for anything it's always easy to get an appt. Yes, it's expensive but all vets can be. That's where pet insurance comes in, if you want to spend the $ to save the $. Also, I believe they have a senior discount but you'd have to ask. The last call I made was when I attempted to trim my dog's nails at home one Saturday and could not get one to stop bleeding. They said come on down, showed my how to use this little styptic thingy, gave it to me and said "no charge". That was great service

We had a wonderful experience today at Berlin animal hospital…read more This was our first visit and we had been recommended to try the non anesthesia dental cleaning. Front desk was very welcoming, brief meet and greet with Dr to answer any questions I had, checked in to let me know how things were progressing, 30 mins later, happy hound with nice clean teeth. I will def be coming back, not only for dental cleanings. I appreciated the friendliness of staff and not pushing unnecessary treatments/meds. Clearly they care first and foremost about the pets. thank you all.

She said "Putnam Veterinary Clinic", and she's an expert on all services in the area (butcher, bakery, dry cleaning ...). I was nervous, and the cat HATES going anywhere! but they were very gentle with him, drew blood and got him all of his shots. He's been back for an outdoor-cat immunization series (2 visits) and for a scratched cornea. He still hates being in his carrier, but it's always nice to see Dr. Delong. I recommend without reservations

They asked if she was a current patient and I answered "no" and told them I had just moved here. They refused to see her and told me to go see an emergency vet up in Westminster. I then called Leominster Animal Hospital on Lancaster Street and they immediately said "yes, bring her right in". I put her in the carrier and raced right down there and they treated her wonderfully and got her well. I was so impressed that the following week I called and made a wellness visit appointment for my other cat. Both of those cats have since passed on, each at age 18. I adopted two rescue cats in 2024 and take both of them to Leominster Animal Hospital. Dr. Feccia and his staff have been wonderful. I would not go to the Central Street Animal Hospital even if they offered to treat my cats for free.

He is a solo practitioner and it is a small clinic with basics. If you suspect something that needs further diagnostics beyond basic x-ray, basic bloodwork, or vaccines and general medicine, I would go to one of the other larger area pet hospitals- in Westford, Waltham, Wachusett, Woburn, etc. Dr. Norelli is very cost conscious and will be very reasonable in terms of conservative treatment. If you are looking for medical care that goes above and beyond (and perhaps needs an ultrasound or an MRI or physical therapy), I would seek a second vet or another veterinary hospital system. He does basic surgery such as dentals, neutering, and lump removals. Maintenance care and palliative care. His hours are limited to the work week Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 9-5pm, so you have to take time off of work to bring your pets here, but if you like being in the exam room, having a one-on-one conversation with your vet and your pet isn't too sick, this is a great and unique clinic! The entire veterinary profession is changing with commercial hospitals and a practice like this is unique and a gem. I recommend Dr. Norelli's practice if you're in the area and needing an empathetic vet.

Putting a dog down is gut wrenching and this clinic couldn't have been more compassionate. They have a quiet room with carpeting, a small loveseat and it feels like a home. We were able to be in that space with our dog as she was put down. It's a small detail but compared to a typical metal table exam room it made a huge difference. They gave us time, listened, and explained everything. Their kindness made a horrible situation a bit better and while I don't wish that situation on anyone, if you must, I couldn't recommend them higher.
