He took the time to walk through each tree and gave clear, practical advice on how to improve fruit production going forward. What really stood out was that he was not pushy at all. There was no pressure to buy anything. He simply focused on what would actually help my trees perform better. He did suggest a few products that could help, but the recommendations felt honest and helpful, not sales driven. It is rare to get this level of service years after a purchase, and I really appreciated the follow through. If you are considering fruit trees, I would absolutely recommend Moon Valley Nurseries and ask for Patrick the Tree Guy. Great experience overall. Five stars and two thumbs up.

I am concerned about the pricing a bit I think maybe wait for a flyer as it seems like they may have better deals there than in person as the trees we bought were quite pricey. We do love our trees so far though. They setup our appointment and delivered and installed very quickly, maybe an hour or two for two 48" box trees to be installed on the appointment day. The only couple of complaints I have are that the day of the appointment for install they parked the truck with the trees next to one of the trees growing by the sidewalk and when they unloaded the tree a few branches did break, thankfully it was minimal damage but it could have been avoided. Also we tried a couple times to setup buying flowers in bulk for our garden and they said they would call us back when they had them and simply never called back. So if you want a mature tree they've got you covered but the smaller stuff that probably nets less profit may be a no go here.

It's my new go-to shop when I'm having one of my "crazy plant lady" moments or even when I'm not. I have loads of experience maintaining my favorites: orchids, African violets, peperomia, and calathea. They're what I consider no-brainer plants - once you get a groove with watering, light and caring for these beauties, they thrive for years and years. Getting the groove however, well that's the secret. I spent a healthy sum of money on orchids for my orchid/sunroom. Learning how to care for and grow them took me a couple years, but these daya I can confidently say, I've perfected my process in my microclimate. I love that Deep Roots sells what I need to make me happy and keep my pets safe. Their phalenopsis orchids are tall with big, beautiful blooms. They have several varieties of calathea and peperomia...they're so healthy and lovely, they look like faux plants! Want to brighten someone's day? Any plant here will do just that! Service is smart too. Have questions or need help? The staff here is super knowledgeable. Purchase a plant and pot, they'll pot it up for you for free. This is especially awesome when you need something last minute, think house warming or hostess/host gifts! Love that Deep Roots moved in the neighborhood. I found out about this place after driving down Hawthorne blvd and actually read the store name. Since I drive the street regularly, I never read the store names. They have lots of plants and feel like they have more variety than home depot. They have colorful potteries and various shapes and sizes. They laid out their plants and accessories super neatly! There's lots of parking in the back and sometimes Hawthorne blvd gets backed up so might be hard to get out of the parking lot. Will be coming back for more plants for my office cubicle!

She makes you feel at home and calm as soon as you start speaking to her. I really could have stayed all day with her just chatting about life. If you are someone who is looking for a wholesome and healing experience, this is the place for you. I went in not knowing anything about the experience and I truly believe that is the best way to really feel it all. Barbara guides you through the whole thing and my best advice is to really lean in and be open through every step of the way. I did a one on one experience which I'm grateful for but this would also be a great day to hang with a girlfriend or a group of friends. Thank you for this magnificent experience, Barbara! I really cannot wait to come back.

Customer Services Needs Improvement…read more I come here almost every week. And for the most part no issues. However, I was there yesterday evening and cashier#:1121 was helping me check out. I placed all my items on the counter. I turned around and saw those big bags from the store that cost 99 cents. So i grabbed 2 and placed them on the counter along with the rest of the items I'm buying. The cashier said... "I'm not a mind reader, are you buying those" Completely rude and unprofessional. I looked at her with shock because I couldn't believe she said that. Is it NOT obvious that I'm buying them since i placed them on the counter along with the rest if the items I was buying. I simply said yes. I tried to see her name tag so I could complain to the manager but surprise surprise... no name tag. So all i have is her cashier#:1121 number from the receipt.
