I cannot say enough wonderful things about Zoila and our entire leasing experience. From the very first phone call, she was beyond friendly and genuinely welcoming. What stood out the most was her empathy and kindness toward my situation and why finding a new home was so important for my family. I shared with her that I wanted my boys to have a say in choosing our new home, and she truly honored that. During our tour, she made a point to include both of them--asking their thoughts, listening to their opinions, and showing them around as if she were welcoming family into her own home. It meant more to me than I can put into words. It didn't feel transactional at all--it felt personal, warm, and sincere. The leasing process itself was incredibly smooth. I applied online and received a response within 24 hours. Everything was clear, easy to access via email, and well organized. I tend to ask a lot of questions (just to make sure I fully understand everything!), and not once did Zoila make me feel like I was asking too much. She was patient, thorough, and reassuring every step of the way. The location is amazing--so close to everything, most places within a mile or less. Maintenance is very nice. Front office is nice. However, even with the apartment left in a clean condition, these apartments will violate tenants' rights and illegally keep your deposit for things that we are not to be charged for after living there for 2 years. If you like... hallways that smell like weed 24/7, in unit fire alarms and smoke detectors that constantly go off for no reason even while you're asleep, neighbors that let their dogs constantly urinate in the hallways and elevators, or bark 24/7 because they are left alone on the balcony all night, neighbors that speed through the parking structure and almost hit you every day, gardeners that wake you at 7am, washing machines that ruin your clothes, homeless that always walk through the complex and yell at us and sleep on the sidewalk right outside... Then this is the place for you! So incredibly over priced for how ghetto it really is. Don't let the "pretty coat of paint" fool you. read more

I lived here for under a year and was very pleased when we first moved in. Pros: - nice units -new updated appliances - great gym and club house Cons: - Residents do not respect dog rules ( I.e breed, cleaning up after their pets and letting their dogs pee I in elevators - Sketchy events happen all the time ( drugged up naked neighbor jumpinG on cars in middle of night , used needles left in bushes, violent neighbors) - Constant false fire alarms without contact from management Other things to consider : - construction at all times - parking ( residents do not respect assigned parking spots) - The train actually can be really loud and runs through a lot later than expected - Moving in and out can be hard because their is one loading area per side and every truck and delivery truck parks there which is also the entry to garage. The two stars reflect the overall stay here we loved the unit but the other living conditions made it rough. We ended our lease 7 months early. read more

Its a nice area but there is homeless breaking into the property my packages have been gone missing twice. The office staff takes long to answer the phone at times one of the staff ladies did not seem to want to help me and copped an attitude and claimed she had been slammed with work. I also spoke to the property Manager once who seemed nice at first but became very rude. Office is closed earlier then 5pm on Saturdays the times I went down and they always say its only one staff member but I went down a few times to the office also did my husband in one day considering that they probably stepped out for a little but they still were not back. Not to mention the pet issues are out of control here and people do not pick up after themselves we had higher expectations for this place read more

I wasn't about to write a review not until today which the last part of me telling me that I should. When we about to sing the contact December 2018, should be swimming pool, dog park, and all the other fun stuff so on which were promised would be here, which I haven't seen any, specially the swimming pool and the dog park. They said it would be here and I believe it. If you plan to stay for at least 3-5 years, You might hoping in vain. (We were here since Dec, 2018). The price would includes these amenities which even are not here. The big garage door was broken many times since we got here. Recently, the most unhappy thing happened was our car got broken and without any action from the apartment office. They just said they can't do anything about it. They had leasing contact saying they will be provide the security gate, but they did nothing once things happened. Their security guy was busy grading the unfinished building not the broken gate. We were told the crime guy was working from the first floor park garage to the third level to broke our car window. That took a while to happen which could be easily caught by someone who would guard the property (which they should since the gate was broken for almost two months). They did nothing to us, they didn't even apologize. Finally, we called the police and we called insurance for our lost. This happened was not enough for me to put a fair review not until today. Our washer was broken. The guy come to fix twice. I was still ok with waiting stuff to get fix and knowing the guy work hard to get it done for us. But it still did not get fixed after two visits. The guys says a washer unit will be put in today. So, we finally got the unit to installed, I found the dyer was dirty. So I cleaned it with paper towel thinking it would be it. When I opened the washer, I was shocked. It was dirty and not even cleaned for us. I know living in apartment, stuff are all used, I don't have problem with it, but seeing it not cleaned, it makes my stomach sick. That is not the only thing made me sad. We had cloth in the washer and the guy dumped them into the big trash can!! He wasn't about to tell me if I wasn't call for the dirty machines. He pulled the big trash can in front of my door, and I took all my cloth from digging the trash can. That just humiliating. That just broke me down and putting a review. We called the apartment office again for a complain. the guy came and cleaned it for us and apologized. Still, it is far away from "luxury". It says a luxurious apartment. I don't think any normal apartment would do such thing. At least clean or check before giving to tenants, at least apologize for our lost. But very disappointing for what we were promised, and seeing advertised as "luxury apartment " on a big bard what we drive to see everyday. Just feel we should be treated nicely to be in a place where really match for this word. read more

This place has good parking. also The apartment itself is nice and well-designed compared to other places I have seen in Ventura and Oxnard. the management is very cooperative. many times my credit card did not work and they never charged me late fees. Thanks, Samantha, Linda, and the team. they are nice people. the place has a very good gym and good social activities too, and the location is the best in Oxnard in my opinion. The only thing they need to work on is the cleanliness of the aisles in higher floors like the second and third. Other than this, I am so happy with my rent. 4 stars goes to Mandy, the apartment manager. We lived at the Junction for about a year and half till we moved for job relocation. Mandy has helped us from the very beginning to look for an apartment that fits our vision. She would go beyond to make sure that we were pleased. Throughout our stay at The Junction, Mandy has been nothing but helpful, reasonable, open, and honest. Any concern we have, she takes care of it. Of course there's only so much she can do, but she would use every measure to ensure that her tenants are happy. Mandy, thank you so much for working with us and being very accommodating. We appreciate everything. 1 star goes to the living situation. When we first moved in, there were hardly anybody, so obviously, it was quiet. Until more tenants moved in and majority of them were rowdy, rude, and dirty. No one picks up after their own dog, strange people intrude the property and create problems, and I believe there are a lot or some druggies who live there (because there was a crazy naked lady who was jumping on a car screaming bloody murder, and there's been more than 5 times that 6 police cars would come by). Not really a family friendly area. Also, the parking situation... don't get me started. If the landowner was a bit more organized and thought things through a little, the apartment would have potential. I'm just glad I don't have to hear the trains and hear crazy people argue and scream at 2 in the morning. read more

I noticed online that they have available units for move in ready. So I called to get more details or maybe schedule an appointment to look at their amenities and units. I spoke to a woman named Shalauni who was very short and unpleasant to talk with. She cut me off saying there is no apartments available. I advised that it showed differently online. She stated, "I can't control that" I will not be doing business with them. I don't care how nice of an apartment you have. She also went on to say we don't show any apartments due to Covid-19 and that no one is showing apartments now. That's a lie! I went to AMLI and Avalon and other apartment homes and they are all showing units and are very very friendly!! read more

My husband and I lived here for a few months and ended our lease early due to work relocation. Pros: Pet friendly Beautiful Clean Unit. Nice counters, new appliances. Spacious Maintenance responded promptly to an issue with our garbage disposal. Friendly maintenance personnel Upstairs neighbors were pretty quiet and we never heard next door neighbors. Nice community room. Parcel and mail room system worked well for us, we always got our mail and packages. Gym was pretty empty. Ellie was a sweetheart and really easy to approach Some cool community events for the family Cons: There was a syringe in the bushes the entire time we lived there, never cleaned. The stairs always smelled like pee. A lot of transients at night. Dog Breed rules were not enforced. Altercation with a resident that threw her weave at me. I called Archon Security after witnessing a verbal altercation in the parking structure that was looked like it might turn physical. They told me they don't respond to domestic calls and to call the cops. Fire alarms went off a lot. The outside doors were not working for a little while when we first moved there. If you're scared to put nails/ thumbtacks or hang things don't be. As careful as we were to use command strips we were still charged to paint the entire unit when we left. I had two encounters with Mandy. The first was a little standoffish and attitude made me feel like me being there was an inconvenience. This was when we were first moving in. The last encounter was when I was dropping off our keys when we moved out. The hours on the website said they closed at 5 so I made sure that I got there before then. When I got there there was a sign on the door that they had closed early that day, with no e-mail to residents. There was people inside and I had to knock and wave my keys so they could open the door. As she opened it she said, "We're already closed." and pointed at the door sign. I told her I just needed to turn in my keys and she took them like she was doing me a favor. I'm hoping that it was just a coincidence that those two encounters were not the friendliest. As someone in customer service you should be amicable with your residents. Lastly when we moved out we were being over charged about $800 when in fact they owed us money. It was easily cleared up with initial lease forms to prove it. Just make sure to review and save everything for accuracy. Overall I would not live there again. read more

These are by far the worst apartments I ever lived in we pay so much to not even have proper security this is suppose to be a luxury apartment but the gate to lock the garage doesn't even close so anyone can just come inside the apartments so much for having our cars secured. Not to mention the front office people are very rude and they don't even seem to care about there tenets. Elevator permit is expired... not safe!!!! Also the office called me blaming me for dog shit that was a few steps down from my door only because I mentioned I was Dog sitting for my sister, she tried to say I know you are dog sitting im like yeah because I told you that I was she then said it looks like puppy poop I'm like well we don't even take the dog outside it's still a puppy and doesn't even have it's shots I was like look at the cameras she then said it's easier to call you instead I'm thinking in my head well I hope your calling the whole damn complex because I ain't the only one that has a puppy In the whole complex. It's Just rude to blame people before actually seeing if they did it or not. Every single night and all day we here the kids above us running around stomping all the time very annoying when trying to sleep Not to mention when I moved in the apartment had an electrical issue some of the outlets weren't working which caused the WiFi to not work in the house because the power box in our room was completely stripped. there were scrapes all over the walls looked like they never even painted it also it was filthy when we first moved when it should have been cleaned and ready to move in. I lived here for one year and I couldn't wait to leave these apartments.. our neighbors upstairs were overly rude- stomping, kids running around all the time, playing piano at 5am- you can hear everything. We were on the 2nd floor. We complained numerous times with no end result. Our apartment has no outside sunlight, always dark. The apartment itself wasn't bad, but the parking was bad. They have additional parking in an indoor garage, but they were so strict about it. They were Tesla parking spots originally then covered the parking with cones saying they would tow cars. Why not have additional visitor parking?!? read more

My girlfriend and I moved in here within the first month that the apartments opened and we are still so happy with our decision. The apartments are beautiful, modern and have a San Diego vibe. You can expect to see everyone walking their dogs, taking their kids to the park or working out at awesome gym we have in the building. Problems are bound to come up no matter where you live, however, the staff and management on site have been by far the most helpful and friendly people and have done everything they can to keep this place up to par! Sam and Mandy respond immediately when we've had any issues and they've made our stay here extremely enjoyable with their little tenant events they've had in our clubhouse and with their constant smiles whenever we walk past the leasing office! This is the best apartment complex I've lived at so far. I am one of the first tenants to live here when they opened in October 2018 and things have been great since then! In the beginning Mandy and Samantha were very professional and patient with the leasing process and going through the growing pains of opening a new apartment complex. The apartments are spacious, luxurious and quiet! They have security nightly the patrol the area and take safety and security very serious here. Community is fully gated with a gated parking garage! They also put on special community events now which is a big plus! The gym is great and so is the community room with pool and shuffleboard. If I could give a 0 star I would. I came by at 0915 am (office opens at 0900) to close out a payment I received an email about and the doors were locked. I saw everyone who worked in the leasing office just sitting around in the back just stare and watch me try to get in. I go back to my car and wait an additional 15 minutes and I try again. This time I knock because I can obviously see EVERYONE sitting in the back. Mandy (one of the leasing office workers) rudely and aggressively looks at me at the door and puts the one minute finger up. Mind you, the man who works there (Sean) gets up, looks at me, walks pass the door to throw away his food and then goes back to join the others. At this point I'm pissed. So I continue to wait at the door due to me trying to get this payment out of the way because my time is very limited. May I point out it is freezing and windy and I'm just standing there outside as the leasing lady and man just sit and watch. I go to my car to wait for them to open the door and I watch this lady come up to the door, stand there for three seconds and oh so wonderful Mandy comes and let's her in. Then 5 mins later the mail man came, and he is let in too!!! Both times they looked at me just sitting in my car. I could not believe the utter disrespect I was shown, if they weren't available, someone could've simply came to the door and told me just that. Instead they ignored me and rudely gestured for me to wait outside, however, could fine the time to get up and let "more important people I guess" in. And everyone in that office was there! This has been our home for the past 2 years and we've loved every minute! The location is obviously perfect, it's safe, we love our neighbors & the amenities are a plus! All staff are friendly and very helpful. Every encounter with Mandy, Shalanee & Sam have been great. This community seemed promising when it first opened. We were one of the first renters and somehow got ourselves into an 18 month lease. First off, the leasing agent that assisted us at the beginning, was a temp and told us there was an elevator near the apartment that we were looking at and that sold me. Once I moved in I realized that the elevator and the garage were extremely far from where my apartment was. That was a huge inconvenience because honestly the fact that there was an elevator near my apartment was the final decision maker between this and another apartment complex I was thinking about moving to. It's been about a year and this place has gotten packed! The exterior entrances are inconveniently placed and don't all allow access to visitors or those with the access code. This makes receiving deliveries difficult. Although These things are upsetting, my biggest complaints are the noise from our upstairs neighbors, the transients that congregate outside the buildings and have screaming matches with their imaginary friends and the high price of rent. Either my upstairs neighbors are horses or we have the thinnest ceilings in California. The noise resonating from the floor above, literally, ruins every peaceful moment we try to have. We are paying luxury prices for inner city living. It's despicable. I wouldn't recommend this community to anyone planning to enjoy their home life. read more

Such a beautiful complex but with the young people partying every weekend super loud where everyone come out on their patio to see what's going on ... , dogs on the patios barking until 12 or 1 am then you also have the dogs that seem like they sit at the front door and bark so we all hear it on our floor and the loud stomping from people above you it makes me regret my decision. Take your dogs out before they piss all over the place. This is an apartment complex not a KENNEL. And people screaming at each other is ridiculous everyone can hear y'alls conversation. Plus for how expensive this place is the rooms are tiny and the neighbors are snobby. I gotta plug my nose and hold my breath just standing in the elevators smells like piss and shit and they try to mask it with lemon scents which doesn't work. Recently we toured the 1 bedroom unit and I was truly on the fence to begin with. Let me just say that by the time we left, we felt like we were already at home, besides being beautifully done, our guide/building team player, Samantha was so engaging and on point with whatever questions we threw at her. This is the most expensive housing project in town. The Junction and The Mayfair Townhomes are equally as bad. I walked over there to meet a friend at the Mayfair Townhomes last night at 11PM. They had block party speakers outside and just about everybody was cooking out. (I hate the smell of burning pork). The noise was unbearable. You could hear the music so loud that once I was inside the townhouse, we had to scream to talk to each other. This huge block party goes on every 1st of the month and lasts until the 20th when they're all out of money. This is just unbelievable. This also was the 1st of the month and they all got their county checks from the government better known as Mother's Day. If you have a job...don't come here. This is a glorified trailer park. They closed the trailer park and gave them all apartments here. Very few people here work. If you want to feel like you're the only person paying rent, then come here. You'll feel like a fool getting up every morning to go pay taxes for this nonstop party to continue. read more

Decent enough design and good location. The Parcel Pending feature is nice. However, I wish I'd rented somewhere else. There are too many low life's living here. Loud music and loud partying almost every weekend and sometimes on weekdays. This complex is contracted with Archon Security, but they seem to have gotten VERY lax in responding to service calls. Also, too many residents don't know how to own a dog. While most know to walk their dogs daily, too many keep their dogs penned or crated all day and this makes them bark and incessantly. When their dogs are walked their droppings are left making the entire area smell bad. Speaking of bad smells. The stair wells smell like urine, or they smell like that porta-potty chemical used to mask odor. The staff is nice enough, but they're not engaged with community after hours, which is when all the problems start. This place calls itself "luxury apartments" but they only thing "luxury" is the rent. I've tried to voice my complaints, but nothing has changed. If you're a working person do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere. read more
