I would think that if someone chose to be in this industry, there would be a few traits that would come naturally. Two of the most important traits would be kindness and professionalism. While pregnant so much of your time goes to researching and making sure that things are safe for you and the baby and of course, when picking up placenta specialist, the same amount of research goes into that. I got recommended by a family member who said that she thought it helped , but still suffered with postpartum feelings of sadness, but I figured it can't hurt. I had to call and email multiple times to set up a consultation but again someone I trusted used this company so I felt like maybe it's worth the inconvenience of reaching out 1 million times. I went through the entire on boarding system online and somehow my information didn't save and I had to redo it. I had to reach out to Brittney multiple times. She was very unresponsive, I produced my STD results. I gave her everything that was required of me and booked my appointment. Day of my appointment I had to schedule time with my job to takeoff Brittney no called no showed. I texted her multiple times and called her multiple times and got nothing back finally almost 30 minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin. I got a text message saying her phone is completely unusable, but somehow she was finally able to send text message she told me she was going to call me from her husband's phone Instead of just emailing me immediately when her phone became unable to work to reschedule. She called me from her husband's phone 10 minutes after telling me she would call me and of course I was frustrated. Instead of saying you're right I should have let you know that I would be unable to make it at our agreed-upon time. She asked me if I wanted another placenta specialist instead now I am very close to my delivery, I have to redo this research all over again because this person was unable to display kindness and professionalism. I had such a wonderful experience with my placenta encapsulation. Brittany is such a sweet girl and I am so thankful I found her. I initially wanted an all natural water birth, but ended up getting induced and after some complications, ultimately needed an emergency c-section. Nothing went according to how I had planned or imagined and the only thing that followed my birth plan was being able to get my placenta encapsulated. I procrastinated on finding someone I felt comfortable with to handle my placenta and encapsulate it for me. After reading the amazing reviews, I reached out to Brittany and set up a phone consultation. Unfortunately, due to my pregnancy brain, I completely forgot the appointment and when she called I was at a car dealership which was not an ideal place to talk about my health and pregnancy. Luckily, Brittany was understanding and allowed me to reschedule. Our phone consultation was 12 days before my due date, however I ended up getting induced 8 days early. A friend had raved about the magical benefits - increased milk production, decrease of postpartum symptoms, pain management etc. - so I had considered it for my first pregnancy but I ultimately couldn't bring myself to do it only and it all seemed so... science fiction and hippie frou-frou. Of course what followed the birth of my first born was an array of postpartum pain and BF issues. So during my second pregnancy, I decided that even if I didn't consume it, I would at least have the pills available just in case. I chose Joyful Tree for the great reviews and the option to have it prepared in my home as it seemed like the safest method. I was so impressed with Brittany's professionalism, knowledge, and reassurance. So much so that I did end up feeling comfortable enough to consume the pills this time. Now everyone is different so this is the disclaimer that results may vary. However, I can say I'm now a believer in the whole eating your placenta magic. I was told that a c-section recovery is worse and longer second time around (my first was a c-section). This was not the case. The pain was 10x less than the first time around and I would say as minimal as it can get. So much so that I kept asking the nurse when the pain was going to kick in. By day 4 my pain was gone and I was back to my usual activities. This is a huge contrast to my first c-section that took me 2-3 weeks to recover from. I recently gave birth to my team green baby on December 14th 2018. She was a beautiful baby girl! Brittany made this experience of encapsulating my placenta absolutely wonderful! I reserved her to encapsulate my placenta back in September. Upon delivery of my placenta, i texted Brittany immediately and she promptly drove from Fullerton to Fontana Kaiser to pick it up. It was ready for pickup about two days later. I'm absolutely amazed with how beautiful the placenta print turned out. I have got an extra one that i was not expecting, i bought frames for both! So one for me to keep and one for my daughter as a keepsake! My main reason for getting my placenta encapsulated is my chronic anemia. Towards the end of my pregnancy i was extremely anemic and i had to do iv iron pushes to help ensure i wouldn't hemorrhage during birth! After birth i had blood work done and i was again extremely anemic. After taking my placenta capsules i started to regain my energy and thought it was all in my head. I was 38 weeks pregnant when I heard about placenta encapsulation, so I decided to look more into it and that is how I found Brittany on Yelp.. Organic fruit smoothie? Count me in. I haven't began taking my pills yet, but let me tell you... I was originally supposed to do a natural birth. However, last minute, my baby was in distress, heartbeat dropping, labor wasn't progressing fast enough -- so I ended up having an emergency c-sec.
