It was great to learn about my neck, hips, mid back, and lower back. The adjustment was so awesome and honestly i was shocked by how i felt during and after. He was able to adjust my ribs, which i never knew could be adjusted and it felt well needed, and i was breathing much better, and still am as i write this review. My neck adjustment was amazing as well, and he helped me relax, as i wasn't sure if i would relax enough for someone holding my neck. And finally for my hip and thigh, Dr. Stanton was able to help with relieving the pain and discomfort. I felt a lot better immediately, and some circulation returned to my thigh that was numb for the past 3 days, as well as, had pain. I felt so much better after and honestly, just kind of made me think about my body and wellness. I was so happy that i made the decision to go see him, and am so grateful that he was able to adjust me and help me feel so much better. Thanks Dr. Stanton!!!

Sitting at a desk, lifting weights, and improper posture had me feeling like it was time. I've been to a few different chiropractors in the area, some being better than others. While I've had temporary relief from those visits, some lacked that "OH SH*T" moment that certain alignments give. Maybe it's my guilty midnight social media doom scrolling of chiros on IG doing some insane cracking that had me searching for something more. I certainly found it at SF CONNECTED. Stanton explained his process, gave me a short diagnosis based on how I was feeling, and got to work. He was able to give me a better range of motion in my neck and lower back. He was able to successfully employ a Y-strap adjustment, after which I'm sure I briefly saw Jesus riding a unicorn amid a flash of light. Believe the rumors: a safely executed Y-strap adjustment is life-changing. I felt that spark travel from my neck down to my toes. I left feeling more upright and aligned. I also appreciate that he didn't try to push a long-term care program that I've experienced at other places. Stanton suggested listening to my body and coming back as needed, which I will for sure be doing in the near future. If you're in the peninsula and want to feel more balanced and aligned, give SF CONNECTED a visit.

But from the moment I walked into Dr. Balch's office, I felt completely at ease. Dr. Balch is incredibly patient, kind, and professional. He took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand, which made the whole experience much less intimidating. I appreciated that he didn't just treat the issue, but also gave helpful suggestions on what I could do at home to better improve my posture. The office is very well-organized and the entire process--from check-in to treatment--is smooth and efficient. The receptionist is always welcoming and friendly, and I especially love the muscle massage therapy they offer before adjustments. It really helps loosen everything up! They accept Kaiser, and with my insurance, the copay is only $15--super affordable for the quality of care you get. I've already recommended Dr. Balch to several friends and family members, and I'll continue to do so. PS: parking is super easy and they have an easy to use schedule appointment app.

His skillset is beyond chiropractic medicine including cupping, shockwave therapy, myofascial, targeted exercises just to name a few. A few months ago, I was diagnosed with a severe case of frozen shoulder experiencing constant night pain and immobility. While physical therapy offered limited relief and surgery was not an option, Dr Andrew's comprehensive treatment approach incorporating shockwave therapy, cupping and targeted exercise made a remarkable impact on my condition. Within just a few sessions, my night pain went away and my mobility has improved significantly over the past couple of months. Dr. Andrew is compassionate and cares about his patients. He also has a cute and well- behaved pooch greeting patients. I highly recommend Dr. Andrew!

Not only is he compassionate and professional but genuinely concerned about his patients' well-being and knowledgeable in his field. Recently, I experienced severe, acute neck pain and a horrible lingering migraine, waking up in pain and with almost no range of motion. Even simple things like driving or brushing my hair felt difficult and uncomfortable. Dr. Andrew was able to see me on short notice, and he really helped me with both my neck pain and my migraine. I had always assumed that my migraines were hormonal, but apparently, they can be caused by musculoskeletal issues. Specifically, he pinpointed a muscle located behind the lower part of my ear that was tight, and he taught me how to massage that spot to alleviate it. The following day, I honestly felt like my old self again, which was a huge relief. I also appreciated that he offers cupping therapy, which isn't always offered by all chiropractors. This was a really cool first-time experience for me, especially since I didn't know all its benefits. Another nice perk: He's got an adorable and friendly little dog who helps patients feel relaxed and at home. Dr. Andrew really goes above and beyond to take care of "the whole patient" and simple put, he's amazing at what he does.

I had plantar fasciitis for 15 years and had tried so many things to relieve my foot pain (various…read morepodiatrists, many different shoe inserts, physical therapy, even acupuncture) -- nothing brought lasting relief. I heard about shockwave therapy but my primary care doctor at Kaiser said "oh, there's no evidence that works." Finally I decided to check it out anyway-- I saw that the California Spinal Rehab Clinic offered a free consultation, so there was nothing to lose. Dr. Shiva examined my feet and general spinal health. He assured me that the treatment would NOT make my foot condition worse and would likely help (and possibly cure) it. He was easy to talk to, reassuring, compassionate, and realistic. I learned that this treatment is commonly used in Europe (sadly, unless a treatment benefits the pharmaceutical companies, it usually won't be evaluated -- and therefore will never be officially approved -- in the U.S.). Dr. Shiva gave me realistic expectations about how many treatments I'd probably need to undergo and how frequently. I was so eager for relief, we did my first treatment that day since he had an opening in his schedule. The treatments do hurt, as the sound waves from the ultrasound probe break up the scar tissue from years of chronic inflammation. But in each painful spot on my feet, as he held the probe there, the pain would quickly dissipate to a tolerable level. I started feeling relief the very next day, and I only had to go twice a week for a couple weeks before we could drop the frequency to once a week. Within a month I was no longer having nights when I couldn't fall asleep because my feet were aching so bad. I would wake up without the tightness and deep ache in my arches I had felt virtually every morning for 15 years. Dr. Shiva adjusted me at each visit and gave me supplementary tools such as great inserts and supportive tape. Jennifer, his client support person, was always helpful and they were always available if I needed to come sooner because of a breakthrough pain episode. I felt very supported in the healing process. I urge anyone with plantar fasciitis to go in for the evaluation. Dr. Shiva will honestly tell you whether shockwave treatment is likely to help. It might seem expensive at first, but it's actually pretty reasonable compared to other treatments -- and to me, getting out of chronic pain is worth spending a little money! My only regret is not doing this sooner. It is amazing to wake up every morning and go to sleep every night without pain.
