He asks what's been going on and actually listens to what you say, and customizes the adjustment for you - you're not just a number. I wouldn't trust my back with anyone else. This review is specific to this location and their laxity with COVID safety protocols. I have been to this location 4 times, 3 of those times there was someone sitting in the waiting room without a mask or with a mask only covering their mouth. I complained to the staff each time, and received no follow up about it from management. I have had to be the one in those 3 instances to say something to the person not adhering to the mask policy. THE JOINT STAFF SHOULD BE DOING THIS. I have been told by the front desk person that they have had issues with patrons getting violent with staff and other patrons (myself included) when asked to put their mask on. The management of this franchise seems to have made their choice. They are choosing to accommodate people with unsafe and even violent behavior over people who would like a safe place to go for their chiropractic care. I will not be returning to this practice again. If you are concerned about adherence to COVID safety protocols, I would not go to this location. read more

I've worked in so many sectors from food and bev, retail, healthcare, call center, sales, education in the US & abroad, animal shelters, small business owner now--a lot of experience that has shaped me into the person I am today. ***I know the difference between a true soul & a fake smile 'I am just here for the money' employee.***She sat down with me explained everything so clearly but not just business wise, she was able to make a human to human connection too which is nearly impossible to find these days. --ESPECIALLY in this generation. Without distracting her from other clients, we would talk in-between & she was giving me advice/helping me get acquainted to the area. Going anywhere, I used to set the bar high for quality customer-focused care. Why? Because I give my all in every field I've ever been in. That's my nature. I had to learn the hard way after being let down so many times...I now expect nothing but garbage every place I go. So thank you Kinsley, sincerely. Dr.Hudak is the only Dr. there who is educated, explains what he is doing as he does it, answers questions, will help you identify certain internal symptoms that are affecting your human body. -Second visit, forgot who I was 70%. --Third time, had no idea who I was. What? How? My chiropractor of years with probably over 100 patients in practice for 40+ years knew everyone by name, their life history, never had to remind him of ailments, and completely gentle & kind. 2. Dr. Adrian should not have a license. He made my pain 150 times worse and the other Dr. I had didn't even introduce himself. They couldn't get you on and off the table faster. Couldn't even look at my chart!!! Just asked what do you need? DOCTORS look at charts. That's why they exist. Patient history, no? The Joint is like the Planet Fitness of chiropractic care. Sucker you in with deals & make you feel special to get subpar care. Less then. Lastly, I ONLY signed the contract because of Sidney and her manipulative, snarky tactics my gut told me otherwise but I ignored it because she is a master at her craft. I called ahead and let them know my brother had just ended his life and I was going to be there 10 minutes before they closed. I have seizures and fell to the ground many times. I need an emergency adjustment. I called and she said. " Oh. Sorry to hear that. If you're here 5 minutes before closing time we can't let you in, so hurry." Okay. That's compassion if I've ever heard it. This review was meant to be finished back in March but with COVID, mourning the loss of my brother, and losing my housing - I was not able to submit it. If you want cheap care, poor management, customer service, and subpar Dr.'s -- sign the contract. Do your research and use Groupon to find quality. I am a fan of chiropractic "medicine", yet without insurance I just can't pay the higher cost, so I decided to give The Joint a try without expecting much. Well, I'm so happy I did! They have been a life saver. I went in with chronic sciatic and lower back pain and within several visits I saw significant relief. Dr. Laross has been wonderful, paying attention to my condition, changes, & lifestyle. I am a regular, which, if you expect results you have to put in the time. Now I am pain free most days. The front desk staff are always lovely! Helpful, patient, smiling, and calm. Never pushy or rude. I have seen 2 other chiropractors, one was not a good fit for me, but the other was surprisingly good. Now I have 2 terrific options for Doc's within minutes of my home and work. The space is clean and pleasant. The service is quick and effective. My longest wait has probably been 15 minutes. I have been having a lot of back pain and needed a chiropractor with late hours, so I stumbled upon The Joint. The staff is friendly and Dr. boyer is very helpful and good at what he does. They do not take insurance, but the prices are very reasonable, they offer packages, and you can use your HSA/FSA card. I really question the efficacy of a three-minute adjustment. Having gone to a number of chiropractors, I have had better results from traditional chiropractors that spend an adequate amount of time to adjust your spine. I have been going to the chiropractor on/off for about five years, but there is something special about this place. Each and every one of the doctors at The Joint at Southpoint have been excellent. They are down-to-earth, listen to my concerns, and deliver great adjustments quickly and efficiently. Not to mention the location is in walking distance from my apartment. They also incorporate an easy walk-in culture, which makes it so easy to keep coming back for regular tune-ups. Since my schedule is so unpredictable, this is a huge convenience for me. Most of the time I am seen right away, but even if you have to wait during busy times, you are outta there in 20 minutes. Great people, great service, very affordable. I enjoy the way I feel when leaving this Joint location. I think they do a great job each time and make sure you feel better. My back is feeling much better and I can tell a big difference in the 2 months I've been going. I don't have pain when trying to put my socks on in the morning anymore. You get what you pay for. I work in the healthcare field and have gone to other chiropractors. This place does super short adjustments. Their doctors change regularly. I liked the first one I had, which he's not there anymore, the second wasn't so great, yet i decided to give it a third chance... WRONG. The third was the worst. Dr. Laros has no customer service or bedside manner skills. Talked down to you and didn't take in my problems and had attitude because i didn't go in regularly. Didn't even take in my concern of a chronic wrist injury I had. Did not have him adjust it bc he did not know what he was doing. Completely unprofessional! The other doctor was much more polite, and the only great thing was the great attitude of the receptionist, but other than that, double thumbs down. Will definitely not go back. This is a great place. I always liked going to the Greensboro Joint but then I visited The Joint in Durham. I LOVE this place. The receptionists are always very nice and have a smile. Every doctor I have encountered has gone out of their way to spend time with me and to try and help me ease my pain. Today the doctor actually went out of her way to get me an ice pack and to make sure I was ok to leave after icing my back for a good ten to fifteen minutes. A friend told me about The Joint and this location specifically. The Dr. was thorough in his evaluation and was extremely careful in his adjustment, which gave me immediate relief. And his treatment plan of icing, movement, engaging core and other smaller things meant that I was able to go to the pool with the family on both Saturday and Sunday, as originally planned.
