I've been going to chiropractors for close to 50 years. I'd like to think I know my way around the territory. I was going to someone good but was 20 minutes away, so I decided to find someone closer. When I showed up for my initial visit - after mentioning my long history with chiros - I was forced to watch a couple of videos in a private office to "educate" me on chiropractic. I wondered what sort of cookie cutter operation this was, but I was already there ... I explained that I was on Medicare and paid no co-pay with my current provider, making the point that money was a potential issue. Despite my mentioning this, after I watched the videos Dr. Garrabrant proceeded to explain the x-rays that had been taken and then whipped out a treatment plan that amounted to $4000. Totally tone deaf, I thought. Chiros often take expensive weekend courses on increasing revenues. Total garbage hype. Not for me. Beware. Good chiro technically but...too much hype. I see Dr. Bigbie and she is an incredibly skilled chiropractor! My "work from home" ergonomics are not exactly ideal and even just seeing Dr. Bigbie a handful of times has already been really beneficial - my neck and back pain has been greatly alleviated and I feel comforted with the knowledge of WHY I've been having this pain and what I need to do to fix it. I've had an awesome experience in the office as well - COVID safe, friendly staff and they always run on time. Drs. Garrabrant and Bigbie are extremely knowledgeable and provide excellent care. I was pleasantly surprised by how broad based their knowledge is about all aspects of the body. When I first visited Dr. Bigbie and Dr. Garrabrant I was having severe jaw pain due to dental work and could barely open my mouth to eat. I also was having daily headaches and low back pain, which I equated to my sedentary job. After only a few weeks of treatment my jaw pain and headaches were completely gone and I was even able to chew beef jerky without a problem!
