I would first like to say that Olivia from triage was very helpful and very kind. She listened to…read moreall my problems and she was so fast to type everything. However, Samantha Rosario NP was very unkind to me. She did not relay to me or write down when I asked her to write down how to take the new medication for seizures and for migraines after that, I had a couple of Tele video visit while I was telling her what the problem was. She sounded like she was upset with me and did not talk to me in a correct voice. she had no bedside manners while talking with her and stating the problems that I was having with my migraines, she had the nerve to tell me well you're not supposed to be taking all of this as we talked and discussed about earlier. I mention that she did not write down the information. After that situation one thing that does get me is that when she changed my new seizure medication I had indicated and stated to her that I have to drive. I have to go to work and I have to take care of my father and I had told her that the medicine that was new was not working for me. She told me and said well you're not taking it properly. I told her still it is not working for me. I listen to what she said, and I took it when I asked her. How can I drive to go to work? She ended up telling me well you need to find somebody else to take you to work. I had stated to her I do not have anyone to take me to work. I have to go to work and I have to take care of my dad and my husband and my partner. She did not tell me how to take care of this situation so I went back to my regular medicine which she was not listening to. What I wanted to tell her was well are you going to take me to work and what should I do about work. When you have a job and your seizure, medication works first of all you do not need to let your Job know this that is up to your own discretion my seizure medicine even though it cost me having cyst, acne and rosacea on my face my seizure medicine still worked! My opinion is not to see her! I do want to state that Doctor William Farrell who is my seizure and my migraine doctor is the best doctor and I would also like to stay once again Olivia from triage the nurse she will listen to you and she is very very kind and very respectful and she has bedside manners and she can type very very fast. She was very amazing and very helpful and she cares about the patient. I do recommend everybody to ask for Olivia from triage if you have any questions, she will help you and guide you. She cares about her patience once again she is an amazing person! I also hope she gets a raise too!

Dr Paul did ultrasound guided injections that I instantly heard a loud pop in my neck and rib cage as he injected the medication. WOW I'm so thankful and pleased my primary care practitioners referred me to Raleigh Neurology! It's early days and I have 6 other injections but if my results from my 2 injections procedures go as well I plan to be back in college ASAP upon completing all injections. Dr Paul being a fellow USN veteran has excellent bedside manner, he listens and answers you. He's open to what you have tried and what hasn't worked. Unlike other practitioners he is the only one doing my procedures the continuity of care is not just reassuring its often paramount that Dr knows patient as more than just a medical record since he fully examined he unlike others I had full confidence in his care. My judgment to change drs has been best way to start 2026!

I am 26 years old and have suffered many, many concussions through my lifetime. After my last two…read moreconcussions (occurring within the last year 1/2) I've been experiencing increasing difficulty with brain fog, fatigue, flat emotions, and so on, which has prevented me to engage in the normally active lifestyle i love to lead. After finally realizing that I need help, I reached out to Dr Dane at Carolina Brain Center. After a very brief phone consultation, Dr. Dane assured me that she would be able to help and that attending her week-long Brain camp would address my issues. I flew out from Utah to attend this. I regret not seeking help elsewhere, as it was a waste of time and money. Dr. Dane never cared to ask me for details about my extensive concussion history, but still concluded that Brain Camp would help after a few rounds of testing in the first hour of meeting me. She only cared about improving my initial test results (as she says, "data is data) but didn't address the every day, real problems I am experiencing. At one point she told me that this is all just my "new baseline" (what is the point of being here if nothing will change...?) and when I experienced painful headaches during the week, she told me to just take ibuprofen. In the end, Dr. Dane surmised that my brain fog and fatigue were a result of long COVID; it is important to note that this wasn't talked about before I flew out from Utah, and I was actively looking to find a brain specialist to help with my post concussive symptoms. Dr. Dane intentionally led me to believe that she could help with these concussive symptoms, and when she couldn't, blamed it on COVID. It is also important to note that Dr. Dane talked very inappropriately of COVID, stating multiple times that she was "licking doorknobs during the whole pandemic" and never got sick, and called mask-wearing "r*tarded". It's hard to believe someone telling me I have long COVID if they clearly didn't take the pandemic seriously. I worked with Dr. Dane's assistant often as well- on day two, I had asked him if he had experienced many concussions. He then asked me "What about you? Have you had many concussions?" They're 3 people that work in the Carolina Brain Center. It baffled me that one of them didn't even know why I was there for a week long of Brain Camp. I could go on. Overall, I received inattentive, un-personalized treatment, which really was just going through the same tasks every day as Dr. Dane and her assistant sat on their cell phones. When doing hands-on work with me, Dr. Dane often used one hand to hold my head/neck and the other to pet her dogs. After day one of that, I experienced the worst lower back pain perhaps of my life, for weeks. I was extremely uncomfortable and wary of any other hands-on work she did with me following that, which is unfortunate given she is supposed to be a chiropractor.

Just recently my daughter said to me, "You know mom, Dr Darcy saved my life. I could have never…read moregone to college without these glasses." We knew our girl had a terrible case of ADHD, but had no idea that she could have been helped with brain camp. In addition, Dr Darcy discovered that our daughter's eyes didn't track together properly, which caused a huge dislike for school. And actually, this problem was easily corrected with a special type of glasses. I have no idea why an optometrist would not have found the eye tracking problem, as it sure would have saved a lot of problems during 12 years of schooling, but we are extremely thankful for Dr Darcy's excellent care and services. It changed our daughter's life forever. She now loves school and desires to be a nurse to help people. If you are looking for help with your child regarding ADHD or ADD issues, if you are searching for alternatives that do not include meds, I highly recommend Dr Darcy Dane and the Carolina Brain Center. It was a great investment for our girl's life!

Let me start by saying that I am a pharmacist and I put most of my trust in "traditional" medicine…read more I've struggled with headaches/migraines, vertigo, stomach issues, random pain, passing out, and heart rate and blood pressure issues since 2002. I have seen countless specialists, had more tests run than I can remember, and tried numerous prescription therapies. Some of my health issues I was able to get under control and others I was not. My main issue was extremely low blood pressure with high heart rate, daily fainting spells and daily headaches. I was diagnosed with New Daily Persistent Headaches, Chronic Migraines and Orthostatic Hypotension. In 2019 I started getting worse and no medication therapy was working (or the side effects were really bad and intolerable). I would leave work every day and head home straight to bed. I would spend almost every evening and all weekend laying down doing nothing. I am a very active person. I love doing yard work, crafts, cooking, baking, watching hockey, basically I loved to be up and doing things. By May 2019 I was pretty much bedbound after I got off work with very few "good days" to get up and do anything. I was being evaluated by DUKE for a CSF leak. In March 2020 I had the testing done that ruled out a CSF leak and was back to square one with no answers and no hope of help. By this time I was not driving more than 10 minutes from home due to my fainting issues and I was spending 85% of my day laying down. I was working from home at this point due to COVID so I was thankfully able to work laying down also. By June 2020 I had made up my mind to go to the Mayo clinic to get seen and get tested for everything. My treatment options locally had all failed. Then I stumbled upon CFNC on a Facebook post and as a last ditch effort I sent an email. Within a couple of weeks I had tests run that I had never heard of and found out a lot of things about my health and my body that I did not know. Dr. Brindisi laid out a plan to myself and my husband. It was a good bit of money and included nonconventional treatment plans I had never heard of so I was skeptical. After some intense urging from my husband and my family I went ahead with the treatment. In September I started my 6 week treatment plan. In the first 4 weeks I had improved so much that I was a different person. I went from basically being bedbound to up and doing yard work again. I was able to help my husband clear off some land at the end of October. I was doing crafts, cooking for the family, and cleaning my own house. I am now almost to the end of my second 6 week treatment and in the last 2 months I have only had 1 fainting episode, my heat rate no longer doubles when I stand up, I feel like a different person and I am able to enjoy my life. Now we are working on trying to find ways to help my headaches so that I can become unstoppable. I urge you to reach out for a consultation with Dr. Brindisi. Don't put it off and wait like I did and miss out on life because of those long spans of time feeling horrible. Her entire staff is personable, professional and knowledgeable. To me and my family, she is a life saver. I know that things that are different from normal healthcare seem sketchy and that it may seem like a good chunk of money, but this is an investment in your health. This is an investment in your life. This is an investment in your future. Do this for yourself. You will not regret it. My mom is starting her treatment with Dr. Brindisi in February for Parkinson's and I cannot wait to see how much she improves.

I live in Texas, and in April 2026 I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Bianca Miret at the Florida…read morelocation through their online booking form. During that process, I was required to check several boxes acknowledging various office policies in order to submit my consultation request. After my consultation, I decided to move forward with the one-week in-person Intensive, which cost $6,000, because I was desperately seeking help for persistent post-concussion symptoms following a bicycle accident in December 2024. I paid the required $2,000 deposit to reserve my spot. At the time I committed to the Intensive and paid the deposit, I do not recall the cancellation policy being reviewed with me or being asked to acknowledge it again as part of enrolling in the program. Unfortunately, before my scheduled visit, I was involved in a second accident when I was rear-ended in March 2026. The injuries left me with migraine headaches and made traveling impossible. I couldn't fly and did not have anyone who could accompany me. When I contacted the office to cancel, I was told my deposit was non-refundable but that I could reschedule within a 4- to 6-week window. I explained that I was unaware of the cancellation policy for the Intensive. In response, I was sent documentation showing I had acknowledged the office policies when I initially booked my consultation. After reviewing the timestamps, I realized those acknowledgments occurred before I had even decided to enroll in the Intensive. I understand that businesses have cancellation policies and I respect the need for them. My concern is that I don't believe the cancellation terms for a $6,000 program and a $2,000 non-refundable deposit were clearly presented at the time I committed to the Intensive. Given the circumstances surrounding my second accident, I was disappointed that no exception or accommodation could be made. I am sharing my experience so prospective patients understand the importance of asking detailed questions about cancellation policies before making a significant financial commitment. I also remain hopeful that Dr. Miret and her team will reconsider my situation and refund my $2,000 deposit. I was genuinely looking forward to working with them, and my decision to cancel was based solely on unforeseen medical circumstances that made travel impossible.
