Doctors here and also desk employees are rotated in and out. You will NOT get care from a doctor that knows your body or your history. This "joint" is a fast food version of medicine. The goal is to get you in and out as fast as possible. Even if you are a regular client due to convenience or low rates, God forbid you leave your credit card at home, they will send you packing! This happened to me last week! I was in a lot of pain. I forgot my wallet at home. Drove there - 20 min. Desk worker fiddled with the computer for 30 min, letting in 3 other patients that arrived AFTER ME... mind you, I'm a regular there... no matter... I'm not a person to them, not a patient in pain, I'm a $29 dollar bill and if I dont pay in advance, out the door you go! Its not like I'm someone they don't know... I have been coming there 2x per week for months... no matter! So while in pain, I had to drive cumulative 40 min, and haggle 40 min, only to go home in more pain then before. One of the doctors there, he had treated me before... he could have said... no worries, I know you, I'll trust you to pay in a few days when you come back... but nope! Unbelieveable! And... I'm unfortunately going to go there again because of convenience and price but be forwarned. You are NOT a patient, you are not under "CARE" very impersonal, cold, and factory like place. Bottom feeder operation! Even the chairs are cheap, ugly and unconfortable! There are no ice packs, no heating pads, no massaging machines, no extras that you find in most real chiropracter "joints" not a full treatment center. Quick and dirty so they can roll over your $29 dollars 20x per hour. When you arrive there, they dont ask for your name, they ask for your phone number! Remember, you are a number there! You get whatever chiro school grad they can roll in for the day. God! I miss my NJ Chiropractor! I would get red light therapy, elec stim, heat, cold, massage machine and more! Here? Krickety- Krack and out you go! And my NJ doc took insurance. The JOINT does not! I'll still begrudgingly go, but I'm sure not tipping or adding a good review! BTW, dont expect a gretting or a hello from ANY desk worker there. Bottom of the heap smart phone addicts, never lift their heads from their phones, begrudgingly ask for your phone number (your "joint" ID) and don't even look up from bbehind the desk. Even at McDonald's, workers are taught to say hello! Jeez! I miss my NJ doctors! Where at least they say hello! The best thing about "THE JOINT" is that your appointment is fast, not the wait... but the actual treatment... 50% of the time I kick myself for being cheap and not finding a real Chiro that I can count on to work with and heal me. Getting treated at the JOINT is a crap shoot. Maybe you'll feel better after, maybe not... I should know better... the problem is I hate driving... and this place is close. UGH!!! If you can afford the time and the $ extra, go somewhere else! read more
