Quoted $8900 for oil tank replacement. 3 other companies quoted $3300-$4000. Charged $90 to come out to quote (stated it would go towards the service) - never expected that high of a quote! How does this place stay in business outside of taking advantage of folks who don't know better!

Not only did he take care of the problem, and then some, in a professional way, but, was also a really good young man. The job was not easy but he stayed for close to six hours and got the job done in a superlative way. I told him that he didn't need to clean up and that I would be glad to do that. He cleaned the place anyway and did a remarkable job at that. Of course, it cost a pretty penny, but from my perspective, I do not mind paying if the job is completed in a diligent manner - and this was done so. I know who I am calling the next time that I have any plumbing or heating problems - and as homeowners, we know for certain that is a part of the journey. Bob Wolford

Totally taking advantage that our buyer was there. When my husband queried the price of the faucet later, they said that they made a "computer error" and would send my husband a check for $150. We received the check today for $134!! Horribly dishonest plumber who doesn't back their work and is just intent on taking people's money!!

He is a poor plumber, after repairing a valve he did not check his work, - it leaked. His repair was done in a sloppy; destructive manner. Left solder splattered on the floor and outside on my landscape timbers. As a painter he earns a 'F' for completeness & sloppy, unprofessional work. He lies consistently about what he is going to do. I would not hire him to do anything. He is not trustworthy.

The company I had used previously forgot my appointment twice in a row, didn't bother to give me an exact time they would be stopping by, and also made an off-putting comment to me over the phone so to say I was irked was an understatement and generally I am really nice with everyone I meet. It takes a lot to piss me off. I googled repair services and home maintenance and luckily PHB popped up. They were conveniently located in Saint Albans and answered the phone promptly. I told them my problem and they were able to come within the hour. I felt so grateful. He also did not overcharge me, though I made sure to tip him extra for a job well done, excellent customer service, and common courtesy. I don't have any photos to share, but I hope this review helps him to attract more business because he deserves it. He is a great handy/repair man. It felt like a godsend.
