I went in to have my Jewelry analyzed and see how much it could be worth. Needless to say, they were no help at all. All they told me was that my things were real gold and real diamonds, but that they couldn't take it since the quality wasn't the best. So then, I said "thank you! I understand but what would you guys price this since everything is real gold and real diamonds and not lab grown" and they said "we don't know" how are you guys a jeweler and don't even know the value of gold and diamonds? Anyways, please go somewhere else very unprofessional and seems like they don't know the value of things since they could not give me even give an estimate of what it would could be worth.

I think these guys ripped me off, selling me an Ethiopian opal ring that I later learned was…read moreextremely sensitive to water/oils and is essentially worthless aside from the gold it's set in for a cool $3000. I made the mistake of not knowing anything about opals before buying my ring on a whim during a wedding anniversary trip. I made several attempts to contact the business for a copy of the GIA report that I can't seem to find (perhaps they never gave it to me, perhaps I misplaced it). GIA reports don't list origin of the gem so I'm not sure it would be very helpful anyway. The first time I called and asked for a copy of the report, told me they'd get it to me in two weeks, but never called me back. I then tried to contact them via their website contact form and they never replied. Since then when I call, no one picks up. I would like to give these guys a chance to make things right and at least provide me with the information they promised me. They have my phone number. Maybe they will see this and reach out? I don't hate my ring, I just hate that they initially fleeced me and are now avoiding me. Yes, it's a jewelry store in an overpriced tourist town but still I expect transparency regarding my purchase. Buyer beware.

What stood out to me was how they talked through how the ring would sit on my hand years from now. They even walked me through how sizing can shift during pregnancy and what that means for future resizing. That kind of perspective only comes from a jeweler who's seen everything. They offer custom fitting on their in-case pieces. The cost was very reasonable for the quality. If you want real craftsmanship from people who actually care about the end result, this is the shop. I'd absolutely return.

Here's how it went down: The gentleman working there engages us (fine and reasonable), but he immediately points out the cheapest item they have and essentially forces my boyfriend to try it on. Okay, we didn't ask. Then, he later tells us that the most affordable item is $3800 - unprompted. Again, we didn't ask. He also discussed a frequent customer that runs a corporation (I won't mention which company for their own privacy), I assume, to further disclose how their patrons are wealthy. Yikes. Throughout this, he would not stop engaging us and he made it very difficult to leave. If you thought we couldn't afford anything in your store, why constantly engage us in a one-sided dialogue? The other workers were also deep in conversation in front of a few of their display cases, blocking them from our line of sight. There was plenty of room to stand elsewhere. What a great sales tactic. It was just an all around strange experience. The items were all fine - not my style, but reasonably someone else's. There's a spring-loaded bracelet that I was almost tempted by, but my goal was to just get out of the establishment. Make sure to only show up if you're flashing designer items or ooze generational wealth out of your pores. Otherwise, based on another review I read and my own personal opinion, you'll be Pretty Woman'd.
