The owner quoted my parents and me two different prices and charged us for a premium package that included security--yet no security was provided, despite us paying for it. 3 hours before the end of the event, the owner repeatedly turned on the lights, which caused many of our guests to leave early. We were also charged for projector screens that we were unable to use due to a lack of proper connections, and no refund was offered. Overall, the experience was horrible, and my mother's party was completely ruined.

The event was well attended, with great local country bands, a kids zone, full bar, a cigar area (separated from the crowds) and tons of food. Bathrooms were plentiful and very clean. We camped on the shore of the lake, which was beautiful (especially at sunset). Camping is all dry camping, and spots were mostly packed gravel (though they are adding firepits and site grass areas soon). The view from our RV was awesome! As a bonus there was also boat races that weekend, which were fun to watch. The costs were reasonable. There are two wedding venues we saw (one had a wedding going) with lake views - very nice. What stood out most was how clean and well kept the entire place was. The staff was 100% customer service oriented and very hard working. They all were courteous, helpful, and fun. Nick was especially great and full of information for us first timers. This was our first time, not our last!

The venue allows you to choose where you hold your ceremony and it's up to the bride and groom to bring shade or alert guests if they need to bring umbrellas or their shade etc. As for any scents, we never smelt manure or anything foul from the dairy farm down the road. The venue has no control over that either; with that being said, we had 300 guests who had no issues and all who gave us so many compliments on the venue. It is very private and excluded from the hustle and bustle of daily life allowing us and our guests to step into our fairy-tale just for our day. Our wedding date was chosen off of the availability of this beautiful property. They had the house set up so the wedding party could get ready inside. They have a giant gazebo where we said our vows. We had over 200 people join us so know they can accommodate a large function. We were able to have a dress rehearsal here as well. The grounds are beautiful. They have a bush garden maze. They provided a large tent. I mean huge! It was filled with tables and a dance floor that fit all of us! It kept everyone warm in the colder weather. Plenty of places for photos. It has been closed thr past few years. I was so glad to see it open again. Back in 1995 our entire wedding including venue dress, tux rental, cake, dj, flowers, rings, catering and honeymoon was just under $4k! My mom covered the catering thr venue back then was $1500 and that left No debit. We were simple folk but thanks to Nardini Manor their coordination and all that they provided our special day went flawless and was super beautiful. Nardini Manor is timeless.

Honestly, you just really have to see it to believe it! in short, the Empie family bought the property in 1974, then hired a New Mexico architect to build a home in and around the boulders...the end result is this great home! The Empies sold the house to the Yavapai in 2005, who generally rent out the home for events. That's where the "WHO you know" part came in as far as getting a personal tour of this amazing place...our uncle does a lot of catering events, so he "knows" people. Lucky for us! It was just the four of having the whole place to ourselves...it was a wonderful experience. I've attached a few photos, but the pics don't do this place justice. It's almost like walking thru Fred Flintstone's house, except updated furnishings and amenities :) Oh, and you can't beat the views...I love the desert views and landscapes. So peaceful.
