We first started coming here back in 2019. They used to have a corn maze & hayride but sometime between 2019 and 2022 they seemed to stop doing it. The activities included are definitely more child catered, and the potential photo opportunities are nice. Thankfully we have a 3.5 year old that enjoys all the activities they have to offer in terms of play equipment, corn pit, "trampoline", etc. if we came here without children it would feel like it was lacking in things to do however. With all that being said--the entry fee associated is reasonable considering what is included. We will continue to come back though I do wish there was more to experience as well. read more

I have wanted photos in the cotton fields for years, but never seem to catch the right time. This place was recommended to us by a friend and it was worth it. Especially since Arizona is growing so fast that many of these fields are being torn down to develop more homes. There is an entrance fee of $9 per person plus tax. There are a few food trucks set up for snacks. The main thing is an area with activities for the littles and fun stuff like roping with some hay bales. The real wow factor is large areas perfect for fall photos including a sunflower patch, pumpkins and cotton fields. They are fine if you walk in between the plants but most people seem respectful of the natural beauty and are pretty careful with the landscape. Our family had a great time here and it was fun for our tween and teen. Never too old for pumpkins I know our photographer got some amazing family photos too. read more

Small but good. It's not as big as some of the other farms around the valley but it is cheap and great for little kids. Bounce bubble, playground, little kid obstacle course, sunflowers, pumpkins. It was cute and fun. The people were friendly. They had live music and food trucks. Overall it is worth it if you live in the west valley. I highly recommend the DeGino Coffee truck and the tacos from Salvadoreños. Both are excellent. We got some amazing family photos in the sunflowers. read more

We love attending farm activities in autumn. One entry fee includes all the activities. Pumpkins, u-pick sunflowers, food or anything in the mercantile are extra. This makes things so easy when coming with children. Activities are mostly geared towards younger children, and those who still like to sometimes play like one. There is a large air pillow that had littles- adults enjoying the fun. Some really got some air. There is a toddler play area that is well shaded. Play stations in there are spread out. The ropping station kept my older children entered. One was excited to actually rope the face of the fake bull. Some of the bikes were broken in the race pit. Thankfully the area wasn't too busy, and all the kids were doing a nice job taking turns. My children spent more time with the activities than I would have anticipated making the entry fee a solid buy. Sunflowers, pumpkins, cotton and corn are out in the fields. All great backdrops to fall family photos. Some of the professional photographers were pushy about getting their clients the perfect shot. While I'm sure their clients appreciated it, as someone who was also paying to be there I did not appreciate being asked to move our family. I am all for not walking infront or directly behind, but please don't set up after we are there then forcefully insist we move. The presence of multiple photographers is why I am taking away a star. All the families and non-professionals were behaving as one expects when visiting a place for family fun. The professionals were behaving as if the fields were their own private studios. read more

This farm is cute and small. The sunflower field is the big draw and great for photos. However, the rest of this farm is very small. Good for very young kids (I would say 3 and under). However, I think older kids would get bored with the limited options for fun festivities. There is a couple of corn bins, a pumpkin patch, bouncy pillow, and some slides, but not much else. This is definitely about getting great photos among the sunflowers and not so much about the other attractions. read more

My sister does photography and she wanted to test out the sunflowers here so we went for a shoot. We got there literally ten minutes before close and the kind people still Let us use the field. We got some shots and this place is so cute and has awesome sun flowers, pumpkin selection and a cotton field! This is a really adorable local farm. Never heard of this farm before. I needed to take the girls annual photos. Our family photographer moved to another state and her packages were getting up over $1500 a shoot just for our girls. That was in her studio not on location. I tried another photographer years ago and it was too generic for thr pricing so I have been trying on my own. If I am not happy I have a gal in mind I would like to try next. Researching I found Rocker 7 Farm is a photographer's hot spot. $8 a person to enter. Right now they are open from 3pm to 6pm. Probably primarily to accommodate all the photographers during 'the Golden hour." The best time to take outdoor photograph capturing the beautiful lighting. I wish I could give this place 10 stars if I could. Got here about an hour after they opened on a Sunday. There was plenty of parking. There were many people, however there was plenty of room to walk around and it didn't feel crowded at all! Tons of different types of sunflowers, all different colors. Plenty of room to walk through the sunflower rows and plenty of photo opportunities. They also had a huge cotton field that was in full bloom! Spent about an hour just walking through the sunflowers and cotton field area and had a wonderful time! They even had pumpkins if you wanted to buy one. Made some awesome memories at this farm and its also very close to my house! Win win! Its medium size and theres not a lot of people. This is actually the second pumpkin patch place Ive visited. The first one we went to was twice as expensive and it was very packed. Rocker 7 is a breath of fresh air and My fam and I enjoyed the sunflower fields as well! Its our favorite thing about this farm! Rocker 7 also has a petting zoo, activities for kids, and a corn maze. It was a bit hot out so we probably stayed only for a few hours. SO MUCH FUN! I've been to quite a few farms over the years and although they were great this one beats them by far. I went today as a chaperone for a field trip. There were quite a few schools there as well as other families. The employees of the farm were so amazing. They really knew how to interact with the kids, explained how things grow, the importance of shopping local, and bees pollinating. The kids were allowed to pick their own veggies, pumpkin, and sunflowers. There were so many other activities that there wasn't a dull moment the entire day. After getting our vegetables and picking our pumpkins we ate lunch at some cute hay bales set up like tables. Next we wandered the corn maze. It was so much fun. The petting zoo was great and we were even able to get our own brushes and comb the animals fur. There was an awesome playground with plenty of things to climb, slide, go through. The blow up trampoline let them get all their wiggles out. We took home some honey sticks and sampled our cucumbers. Everything tastes so good! Can't wait to come here for years to come. read more

We came here in October to be able to do something fun that included pumpkin picking. This location is great! There is so much to do and it keeps the kids busy! They have all sorts of activities for different age groups. My daughter and niece loved it! We could not get them out of the corn! lol. The petting zoo isn't very large but it's still fun. They also sell a wide variety of things and as far as the pumpkins go, they have a lot of sizes and you can either pick one yourself or choose one that's already been picked! We purchased a Groupon for Rocker 7 Farms to take my son to his first pumpkin patch. The Groupon made it very affordable and kids in diapers are always free. The farm itself was a bit oversold in the advertisement. The "Learning Barn" was w has run down and slapped together. The Tractor Tire play ground was fun though, as and as the Corn Sandbox. The petting zoo was kind of sad, but in general they usually are. I was happy to see they had hand washing stations. The pumpkin patch was very affordable and the sunflowers were beautiful. They had a hay ride and a barrel wagon ride for the kids too. All in all a very fun experience for the family. read more

We were looking for a pumpkin patch to take the kids to and found Rocker 7 Farms to be closest to us. It took us about 20 minutes to get there and it was well worth it! Lots of things to do (petting zoo, corn maze, sunflower patch, etc. ) and it's all included in the price with the exception of the concessions and pumpkins. We go every year for the fall festival or pumpkin patch. My sons three and like most three year Olds loves petting the farm animals. There's some Small things for kids to do. It's not an amusement park or anything like that. It's a fun thing to do with the kids for a few hours. There's not a lot to do for adults or older kids but again it's a pumpkin patch on a farm. I have to admit that I'm a bit biased, given that I am originally from rural-ish midwest where these types of places are typically free. I guess that a farm in the middle of the desert is enough of a rarity that charging $10/person doesn't seem unreasonable. On the weekends, admission is $10, kids in diapers are free. This is the same price as Tolmachoff up in the Glendale area (but Tolmachoff offers $2 off/person coupons on their website), and I thought that Tolmachoff had more to offer. But, this one was closer to our house, so we decided to check it out. Pros: - Lots of activities Petting Zoo Playground Bouncing pillow Sunflower patch (plus a pumpkin patch during their fall season, which ends 10/31) Corn Maze (not sure if this stays open beyond "fall" season) Tractor rides -Stands set up to buy local honey and jams -Plenty of parking -Several different snack options Cons: -Petting zoo is small and crowded. Also, the pig that they have is a species of pig that is native to Hawaii (if I remember right, the employee told me that they actually brought her over from Hawaii). Why on earth did they bring a Hawaiian pig to the desert? How happy do you imagine this poor pig is? -There is ZERO shade over the playground area or bouncing pillow. By 11:00, the sun had already made the equipment too hot for my kids to play on. -They close at 6, which means that you can't go late enough in the day to wait for it to cool down. Since there aren't any sunshades up anywhere or any shaded areas (except for the eating area and "education barn," which I didn't list in the pros because there really isn't much too it), you will be hard pressed to find a pleasant day to enjoy being out there playing during their fall activities which end in October. Tolmachoff stays open until any time between 8-11, depending on which day you go. I'm sure that we would have enjoyed it more if the weather had been cooler and the kids had been able to run and play more, but we wanted to go before their fall activities end next week. And we all know that October is still summer here! :) read more

Sadly disappointed. Went last year, was ok. Their second year. This year, most serious issue was they have a petting zoo and no way to wash the kids hands after petting the dirty pigs and goats. Wash station next to the J Johns, but no water, no soap. This was right after opening Saturday at 10:30 am ! Asked the kid working the petting zoo and got the confused shoulder shrug. Great way to make us all sick. Thanks! Secondly, admission price is $10 unless you're in diapers. Seriously? Family of four=$40 and they still want you to pay $10+ bucks for a pumpkin. Seems to me that the kids should get a pumpkin just for being their guest. This is a farm after all. How much can a pumpkin cost them? The positive is that they employ local kids, giving them exposure to jobs and responsibility. Unfortunately the owners are not more responsible for the health and enjoyment of their guests and guiding their employees a little bit better. Seems like they're winging it. read more
