He's had the home since I believe the 1940s and the biz has been open since the 50s or 60s. Irv is also the only bartender and single handely has run the place for decades. If you were in Greek life like myself you'll feel right at home -- the basement feels like a frat house (in the best way). This bar isn't like your neighbor's basement bar - it's a full bar with a pool table, full service rest rooms, a functional jukebox, and a lot of the charm you'd find in your favorite dive bar. The only thing you won't find at your favorite bar is Irv. At 101, he's sharp as a tack. Funny, with a lifetime of stories.
