There was no one in the freaking lobby and I had to pee . I called my sister multiple times and texted her kinda freaking out because they didn't let me in the room with her . APPARENTLY he had her out her belongings down and phone face down . Well welcome to class for an hour . The actual piercing process was less than 5 minutes. The tips and tricks he was sharing were as wild as changing your pillow case every day and telling my sister to not wear her glasses . Out of your mind . Never coming back again . ( atleast her piercing has healed beautifully all you do is make sure you use saline water twice a day and don't mess with it , boom your done )

I have several tattoos from Tony and am super proud and love all of them. He is detail oriented, knowledgeable, friendly, artistic, thinks outside the box, and really knows so much about how things will and should be. He is not heavy-handed and is a fairly quick artist. He is not afraid to go stencil-less and outline it on his own, which is pretty awesome. I have already booked my next one and will have plenty more sessions in the near future. I 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a great tattooist who knows so much and is very dedicated to it.

I was overwhelmed with how smoothly it went and the final look. I've also never worked with an artist that had such a good touch. The healing time was better than any of my previous half dozen pieces. He was also very open to suggestions that I offered and had good counter suggestions to do what I was looking for. Derek is friendly, creates a comfortable atmosphere, and is extremely professional from the moment you meet him through the actual tattoo process. The studio is clean, and Derek also spends time cleaning everything before you sit down. For me, I was surprised tattooing didn't hurt as much as I expected, but that also is part of Derek's technique. It does take a while to get an appointment as he is booked solid a year out. But this is a good thing--it means that Derek takes what he does seriously and he's got the clientele that appreciates that; if you want a walk-in-type tattoo, you are not going to get that kind of work here. I lucked into a cancellation, especially as my tattoo was on the smaller side (remember, first tattoo).
