I live about 2-3 hours away and will gladly make the trip just to have my work done by him. I called to see if they had time for my husband and I to walk in and get a simple small ring tattoo. The lady said yes, but to get there sooner rather than later, making it seem like they were busy. We get there as we traveled quite a ways, and first off place is completely empty. Ghost town. 3 people at the front desk, the First Lady says oh you were the one who called right. I said yes, and she said okay show me the designs. I show her what I want and does everything to try to talk me out of and change the design and the size. Keep in mind- I'm almost completely fully tatted aside from my hands and face. I also have smaller hand tattoos on my opposite hand. So trying to tell me why I'm asking for is too small, sounds to me your skillset isn't able to do it, or you just don't want to. Can't tell if it was an attitude she had in general or if that's just how she is, but she was not friendly, she seemed annoyed, and bothered she had to do her job. We walked in and she was making paper snowflakes at the front desk. The guy was on social media. The other girl was repairing holes in the wall with spackle. They all made comments about the tattoos we were getting as if we couldn't hear them, and then while we're waiting for them to print our designs for the sizing they all disappeared leaving us upfront. At that point we left. You want business act like it, be friendlier. Prioritize the customers you have walking in. Never in my entire life have I been to that kind of shop. I should have known from the no sign out front and the all white windows that they don't care much about their business I'm confused how they have so many good ratings. Maybe bots or paid people because there's no way. Update- shop called me quickly after my review and apologized, and took ownership which I appreciated and asked for a second chance, we can't come back today, so maybe in the future. So until I come back and see the change and the designs made I'll update my review then. For now I'll update just for the simple fact they at least acknowledged and admitted they're wrong. read more

I came in today to get a price quote on a piece I've been wanting for a long time. Jeff, one of the artists, was quick to ask me questions and and answer mine. He gave me a quote and estimated time right on the spot. I said yes, and after filling out some paperwork, was on the table getting poked for a few hours. Jeff is very pleasant to talk to and incredibly talented. He sketched out my piece on paper and placed the sketch on my arm. He did the job with haste but without cutting corners and I couldn't be happier! He gave me instructions on proper care and smelled a few shots. He was as excited of my piece as much as I was. Although it's pricey, I don't mind paying to support a great business and enjoying a few hours in a tattoo shop with friendly artists. Pros: The more tattoos you get, the less each one costs! My first time I came I got one, second time i got two, and third time...you get the idea. Maybe I should continue this streak, Lol! Cons: Not all artists do as great of a job as the owners. Many of them are newer. I feel most comfortable getting tattooed by Mel or Joshua and I can definitely see a difference in quality when it's done by somebody else!
