It looked like a small place from the outside but they cater to bigger groups as well - we were a group of 10 that went there on a Sunday night. The restaurant wasn't too crowded. Their food was incredible! I only got one of their cocktails - the mithai wala which came with rose petals and a vodka base. It was delicious, I would recommend! For food, we got their achari chicken from their tandoor menu. It was really good, we went for a medium spice level for it but I think we could have done hot. The flavours were really good and chicken was cooked very well! We also got their kathal tikka (which is basically jackfruit), it's so hard to find that in Vancouver but Hariyali did an incredible job! Everyone on the table were a big fan of it! Their menu is pretty big and we didn't get a lot of their items but I will definitely come back to try more things. It is also pretty affordable! Would recommend a visit!

They really added to the experience and made our brunch even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. It was the perfect place for a relaxed girls' brunch with lots of conversation, laughter, and good food. Definitely a spot I'd come back to and recommend for a fun brunch with friends!

I want to start this review by giving a big shoutout to Pemba who was our server, he was so kind and took such good care of us and recommended really good items based on what we wanted. A huge shout-out to the founders of the restaurant. Their vision and attention to detail are evident in every corner of the restaurant, from the impeccable service to the unique decor. It was an impressive experience across the board! Everything was perfectly curated I really don't have the vocabulary to articulate. What truly distinguishes Bombay Kitchen and Bar is the seamless combination of exceptional hospitality and remarkable cuisine. Every dish was a work of art, prepared with meticulous care and beautifully presented. The quality of the ingredients and the execution of the flavours were truly top-tier. We started off with the Mixed Grill platter...and my mouth just watered watching my video back of it. The paneer was unbelievably soft -- probably the softest I've ever had in my life. It was fresh, melt-in-your-mouth delicious -- you almost don't want to bite it because it just glides down so smoothly. And the Amritsari Fish Pakora. Tell me anyone wouldn't just devour this in seconds. And the Chicken Tikka is always a good move! And Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan? Nothing can beat this combo! I just can't get enough of it. And they served me up a mocktail (Rimjhim) that was straight out of a summer dream! After moving to Canada, one of the founders, Navish noticed that much of the Indian food available had been heavily westernized. But Navish wanted to create a restaurant that stayed true to the bold flavours that define Punjabi cuisine so at Bombay Kitchen and Bar you are tasting authenticity in every bite because every dish is rooted in tradition. The legacy is brought to the table! I'm not kidding when I say they cook from the heart and soul! The menu stays true to its roots. Every dish we tried was packed with authentic flavour and prepared to perfection. One of the best places to experience the true essence of Punjab. What sets them apart is the authentic Punjabi flavour, giving you a true taste of Punjab. You can tell they don't compromise on quality here. So this isn't just an Indian restaurant; it's a heartfelt tribute to tradition, flavour, and the timeless comfort of a truly satisfying meal. You can tell the kitchen team takes great pride in their work because the flavours were spot-on. Beyond the dishes, what really stood out was the hospitality: warm, thoughtful, and full of heart. The service was as impeccable as the food. My server Aman went above and beyond, guiding me through the menu and ensuring I felt right at home. This restaurant nails it on all fronts--great atmosphere, delicious food, and the incredible service from a friendly staff. It's clear that a lot of effort goes into creating such a memorable guest experience. The restaurant itself is stunning; equally perfect for a laid-back lunch or a polished dinner, but it's the food that truly steals the spotlight. The cleanliness, presentation, and overall vibe reflect true 5-star quality. But what makes the experience even better are the owners themselves. They're not just the owners/founders; they're the heart behind the food. You can feel how much pride, care, and love they put into every single dish, and it makes everything taste that much better. There's nothing better than knowing your meal was made by someone who truly loves what they do.
