To our surprise, It came with a generous 8 pieces of falafels! This was definitely an abundance of food! The dish included 6 flavorful pieces of medium-well grilled steak, along with grilled onions, bell peppers, and a grilled tomato, all over a bed of basmati rice. It also came with two pieces of pita bread. I recommend dipping the falafels in the tahini sauce available at the self-serve condiment station by the registers. I also loved their chimichurri sauce. I can't dine at Dish n Dash without ordering their beriani. They were able to make it with beef instead of chicken like their Sunnyvale location. This is still one of my favorite dishes! The aged yogurt sauce over the basmati rice, potatoes, and chicken was absolutely delicious! The garbanzo beans, raisins, and sliced almonds add a wonderful combination of flavors and textures that complemented the dish perfectly. It was packed on a Friday night! Almost every table was occupied. They did a great job of cleaning and clearing out tables as customers left. The restaurant was well-kept and clean.
