Beautiful view from the rooftop!
Linda L.

Went to our neighboring mountain town of Ouray during the 4th of July weekend, and boy was the town packed and the weather hot! By mid-afternoon after a little shopping and hiking we decided to grab a quick drink to cool down. Landed at The Imogene because I've been dying to go since they opened up and wanted to hit up their rooftop patio! Last order time was at 2:00pm, so we had to hustle but it did not disappoint. Since we already had lunch we just ordered drinks. They have this slick touch-less system where you scan their QR code to see their menu and place your order. We ordered a Diet Coke and a Margarita. Holy moly! Best marg in town!!! Their roof top is da bomb! Can't wait to come back!

I'd say four for drink, three for food, and three for cleanliness. The drinks were good, though a hair expensive for what you're getting. You're definitely paying for the rooftop bar views and being in a super touristy area. They had a sign outside bragging about ten craft beers on tap, except they were out of all the good ones. You order through QR code but staff were helpful with questions. The rooftop was awesome while it lasted and before we had to move inside because of a thunderstorm. Because of that, our second round of drinks just sat in some weird in-between space and we didn't get them served. Luckily, one of the guys saw we were waiting for a long time, asked our situation, and grabbed the drinks. The fries with gravy, cheese, and meat were crazy salty. My partner is your typical salt loving potato eater and even thought they were too salty. The bathrooms were...disgusting. One had no soap, and one had no hand towels. I was actually really surprised that nobody was tending to the bathrooms, because once everybody had to move inside away from the rooftop, there were three extra workers standing around doing nothing that eventually went home. Nobody checked the bathrooms which were suffering. The staff were hit or miss. There were mostly helpful staff, but one of the female bartenders who seemed really busy with being on her phone, was not very nice. My partner ordered beer and after waiting a while (again!), he went to the bar to pick up his drink there so she didn't have to leave to bar to bring it to the table. She seemed super offended by it and told him she would bring it out. She ended up bringing the wrong beer (she brought the one he previously had, not the new style he ordered in the app). I looked at her and said thank you and she literally just walked away. ¿Que? Overall, it was a 3 star experience, but I'm giving it four stars because there were two cool make staff members who were really nice. Maybe just bring your own soap ;)

Absolutely beautiful!! There is nowhere in Ouray you can get better views-and the hospitality is warm. Stuart was making sure drinks were timely and just right. He also lit cozy heaters outside. Truly a thoughtful person of hospitality! The views? Oh my god! The views on the rooftop! And thoughtful, well appointed decor inside and out!

The rooftop bar offers a breathtaking view of this cute little town. It's a must to have an old fashioned, sit back and relax. The bar staff are very friendly and attentive.

Fantastic view from the best Rooftop in Ouray! Thanks Stewart for our 50th birthday happy hour we had last night, it was awesome! We want to come back and stay in the hotel next time.

Spectacular views with amazing food and cocktails - don't miss it! We had the mussels and the pork chop - both were extraordinary. The made an outstanding Old Fashion with a sufficient wine list.

I didn't raise my voice or say anything mean towards her. All around she had a bad attitude. We went to leave and walked outside, we were on the sidewalk not even on their property anymore and she yelled at me saying I was very mean to her and the way I treated her. There was no reason for her to come outside to yell at me and then she yelled that I was a bitch. Then we went back inside to talk to management which was her mommy. Her mom the owner was just as rude, very unprofessional, said I need to grow up because I didn't want to pay for their high drinks, which we did pay for their drinks. Yelled at my husband saying how dare he let me talk to her daughter like that. I never raised my voice when we were eating and drinking. She then became very rude and defensive about that. Very bad customer service, horrible management/owner. Instead of apologizing for her daughter giving me the wrong price of a drink and didn't even attempt to take off $2 for it she got just as defensive and yelling at me and my husband. It was supposed to be a nice relaxing day, lunch, drive to Ouray which became a horrible experience and I felt like they were going after me waiting for me to do something. The waitress should have never gone outside to yell at me. We will never go back there and don't recommend this place.

Quality was good -- the fries were a stand-out. I had a green chili burger that had good food flavors, but was nowhere near as spicy as the description had it. DRINK: A brew-pub is only as good as the brew. Both the saisson and the blonde we ordered were quite tasty, as were the seltzers. The selection isn't huge, but that's actually kind of nice; they covered all the beer bases without needing to offer a dozen different IPAs. SERVICE: Very friendly waitstaff, and fairly attentive. We were there at an early hour (they open earlier than other dinner restaurants), but food delivery was pretty quick. AMBIANCE: Brew-pub in an old building on Ouray's main drag -- ticked the boxes nicely. Place was clean, noise level was under control. We chose indoor seating, being concerned about heat up on the rooftop. NET-NET: A bit on the pricey side, but quite satisfying. If I were again in Ouray, I might try someplace else, but I would not need my arm twisted to return here.

Cute place, good food, will definitely be back.

It completely elevates the experience. The amuse-bouche was the perfect start to the meal, a bright, refreshing citrus bite with goat cheese, prosciutto, and a light acidic glaze. Thoughtful, balanced, and such a great opening note for the evening. Next was the butternut squash ravioli, and honestly, the sauce alone was memorable. Rich without being heavy, deeply flavorful, and one of those dishes you keep thinking about long after the meal ends. We followed that with the ribeye, cooked medium-well, paired with potato fingers. The steak came with a fantastic chimichurri, and the chef even stopped by to recommend a finishing salt specifically for the ribeye. That level of attention to detail, combined with thoughtful table side service, really stood out. I also have to give a huge shoutout to the bar staff. The creativity behind the drink menu is impressive, and the cocktails are genuinely fun, inventive, balanced, and clearly crafted with care. It's no surprise the drink menu has recently won awards, and you can absolutely taste why. What truly made the experience special was watching the kitchen in action. The female lead chef was calm, focused, and clearly guiding the team with confidence. It felt like watching a well-orchestrated dance, and the food absolutely reflected that leadership. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised at all if she ends up with a spot on one of the Top Chef shows. This place is a must stop. Grab the chef's table if you can, enjoy the cocktails, and trust the kitchen. The talent here is real, and it shows.

We were allowed and encouraged to walk around the newly renovated historical building. After seeing the menu , we came back to have dinner after visiting Silverton. Ravioli was surprisingly delicious! We loved all the food that was served and decided to order dessert. I hope we can make it back and have more of this great food! The Yelp review and rating is super deceiving . I'm glad I didn't decide to visit based on the rating :)

Food is challenging in a smaller town but Maggie's made it happen. This was a fun spot to run upon. The signatured walls + great menu offered great options for everyone. The tables ranged from large to small so we were all able to hang and eat. The location is central Ouray and plenty of street parking nearby. Touristy vibe but that isn't a bad thing. Food was solid. You get exactly what you expect. The prices were fair. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had a grea time.
