I enjoyed an apple cider slushee while picking fresh apples during a sunny fall day. We had to purchase a half-bushel bag. Mother Nature at her best! I tasted several varieties of apples in the orchards: Empire, macoun, mac, golden delicious, red delicious, Fuji and gala. In hindsight, I should have taken a wagon and apple picking stick with me, but I was so happy with the slushee and just walking around, I wasn't really thinking about picking the best apples. Seneca Granny Smith apple chips-- never tried this variety- tart and crisp. Apple Pastry stick: I say don't bother with this one. It left a coating in my mouth of greasy weird shortening. I bake my own apple pies with real butter and I don't get this kind of coating with my own pies: Not sure what they use here but don't get this. All in all, a great bakery and orchard.

They had several different spud bowls that sound equally delicious. The was only 1 server there. When we arrived the service was great but a group of 18 came in and we never saw the server at our table until we got the bill. When we went to the counter to pay she couldn't get to us then either. A former employee with a good relationship cashed is out (only in a small town). It wasn't bad and I would go back. I enjoyed this burger, not from my car, as I had intended, but at the picnic tables. I chose one under a pavilion, and there was a beautiful view of nature (and the Taconic State Parkway), and pleasant bird song to accompany the meal. The owner was also friendly, and frankly I love when someone puts an effort into sales.

Best food selection for sure around Blenheim and Gilboa. We love this place so much we even have a framed map of Cobleskill, Breakabeen, Blenheim and Gilboa. Love the staff, atmosphere and people here. Time pretty much slows down here and it doesn't get any better in the Catskills.

We all thought - if you're the only place in town, chances are the reviews will be good - but I'm happy to say that's NOT the case here. The ice cream was legitimately good, well priced, and the staff was friendly. There's plenty of parking, a few tables, and the whole vibe was just right (tonight, anyway!) Our group of 6 got 4 Hurricane Irene sundaes (if you know, you know - also, a nod to the sense of humor!), I got a Taryn sundae (flavor contest winner) and we got a dish of chocolate. They do it RIGHT. The dish of chocolate had Jimmies in the bottom of the dish, ice cream, jimmies on top and THEN whipped cream - so you get jimmies in every bite! The sundaes were loaded with hot fudge, lots of the add ins, and packed with ice cream. Phew! While I'm not surprised how wordy I got, it's also kinda ridiculous. But G Jimmies is clearly a community joint, AND they have great ice cream. Please support these local places!
