Best service. Only one barista and a huge line on Thanksgiving. She was friendly and got us through quickly. I ordered the pistachio vanilla latte their seasonal drink and it was delicious. My husband ordered a chai latte and thought it was better Dutch Bros. The snowy was ok, but lacking flavor. Not really strong in any flavor. The Smashmelon was refreshing and would be a perfect summer drink. The best part about this place is they give you a complimentary chocolate covered espresso bean on top. Corrected the barista to make our drinks hot as asked for, finally received our drinks with zero of the flavors we ordered. I can't believe it has taken this long for Wilsonville to get it's first drive-thru coffee stand. The Human Bean opened a few months ago and is close to the Elligsen exit (286) off of I-5. I would say conveniently located, but it is like taking a driver's training obstacle course to get to the stand. It is tucked in the corner next to the Chevron gas station and Carl's Jr. so be prepared to bob and weave. There is one drive-thru line and some patio seating if you want to order at the walk-up counter and sip on site. They have a punch card system so if you buy 10, you get the 11th free, as well as a recharge card if you want to pay in advance. The Human Bean has all the basic coffee drinks covered, plus Steven Smith teas, Italian sodas and fruit smoothies. I like that they offer a small (8 oz.) size of their coffee drinks and finish them with a coffee bean topper. They have always been bright and cheery in the morning and move the drive-thru line pretty quickly. read more

Great coffee, and nice purpose. They support farmers and fair trade. This is on my commute, so it's great for a quick cup. If they had hot breakfast sandwiches, I'd stop here a lot more. Update: the store owner let me know that they have hot sandwiches, so I ordered one. It was pretty awful. Obviously microwaved so it was soft not toasted. Also it was totally cold in the middle. If you're a regular, or planning to be, make sure you get their punch cards so you can get a free drink on the 11th one. Lots of items on their menu. I was drawn to their Mexi Mocha, Green Tea and Acai smoothie. The lady said their Green Tea smoothie isn't real Matcha Green Tea, it's a powder. I didn't mind because I was wanting a cold Green Tea drink. It's pretty good, but on the sweeter side. Their Acai smoothie is pretty good as well. I think their smoothies are great for summer days. My husband enjoys their coffee drinks. We ordered a deli sandwich from them once, thinking they make it. Nope, it's made somewhere else. It wasn't anything special, unfortunately. Tasted kind of dry when we had ours. Most of the time they get our orders right. I'd say 4 out of 6 times. It's when they're super busy that they're more likely to do something different with your order. Example: we ordered a warm coffee drink (16oz) and a cold smoothie drink (12oz). Also asked for whipped cream on my smoothie drink. Instead, they gave us a cold coffee (12oz) drink and a warm green tea drink (16 oz), with no whipped cream. I go here occasionally because the location is close to the freeway and easy to get to. A couple of the baristas treat you like an inconvenience. It shouldn't be an uncomfortable experience ordering a coffee for God's sake. The girl working today was friendly for once, so that was nice. Their coffee is not high end for the amount they charge. 6.25 for a small cold brew? No ice, just room temperature bitter cold brew. I have been ordering delivery from this location for quite some time now, and have not gotten a bad drink or food item. And sometimes, the baristas even write sweet little notes on my coffee's lid!! What made me happy today, is that they called me after I placed my delivery order to let me know they were out of something I ordered, and asked what I would like in its place. This may seem like standard business courtesy, but most businesses do not call to ask. They just replace it or don't include the item. It really meant a lot and I was very pleasantly surprised. This location is very hard to get to. It's in a crazy corner behind Carl's Jr. and a super busy gas station. If you are able to maneuver the packed parking lot and are able to find the drive-through, then you're probably more ready for a coffee then before you arrived. This is the first location that I've been to that has a drive-through. You would think that would make it easier to get the drinks correct. However, when ordering multiple drinks you wind up just repeating the order once you get to the window. The girls are not the friendliest but I think that's true of all Human Beans, therefore you expect the coffee to be good. It's not great and it's almost never right, but they whip up a mean rockstar. I'll return to this location but only because it's the only one within several miles otherwise, I'd probably try some other place. read more

The service was great and the barista was sweet, I will give it that. The coffee however leaves something to be desired. This is my third time coming here because I keep assuming that the next time will be better...I should probably just stop at this point ;) If you're not a fan of coffee flavor, you'll like it here though! I tried a chocolate macadamia nut breve this time but yeah, same thing- barely tastes like anything but the milk (well, half and half in this one). It's pretty darn light in color for something that should have both espresso AND chocolate in it too which would explain the lack of any flavor. Several times after dark, the rats run across the drive through in front of my car. I feel bad writing this review as I do love this place BUT it's time to get serious and do something to rid the drive through of the rats that roam there after dark.
