A great little drive thru coffee spot close to my Dulles office. Not a far cry from the Airport either. Super easy to find. They make a strong Americano and tons of other coffee and tea beverages. I enjoy the biscotti as well and love that you get a candy coated coffee bean with your coffee. Friendly and chatty staff, the queue moves fast and overall a great coffee experience. For not having to leave your car and the convenience of a really good coffee at light speed before the work day...this is the go-to place! read more

As mentioned in my previous review, my visits to this location are daily. Following my last review from end of last week, I stopped by on my way home. This time the total given to me at checkout was over $8.00. the worker reviewed my previous transaction receipts and confirmed something must be wrong. the same additions/customizations which she looked at side by side to what her system was showing. ultimately there was no way for her to enter my order in and get the any of the various prices I've paid. She was able to remove some of the customizations to get my total closer to $5 range. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to keep coming here. It almost ended with me having to pay the $8 and have a manager follow up with me. At this point I just don't even know what my drink costs. Historically, it should be $5.45. It's just not an issue I want to keep encountering and I feel others should also be sure to check their receipts and totals. Lastly, the coffee i got today was the first time it was not at all similar to previous orders. It looks like cream with a splash of coffee. Sigh. I loved the coffee. read more

Very watered down iced latte with way too much milk. Super sad because I really wanted to like this place!

Pretty cool place! The queue is quick to get through. My friend & I got a snowy mocha & the Mexican mocha - both iced. We both prefer the Mexican mocha more because it has a cinnamon and chocolate flavor, and the snowy mocha was reminiscent of a melted Starbucks vanilla frappe. The workers there were so kind and friendly! Good energy & really good hospitality (even though we were just in a drive thru) Another day, I got the Irish cream breve and the lemon poppy seed muffin top. If you're a sweet coffee person, I wouldn't necessarily recommend the Irish cream breve because it was more half & half than coffee. But that was just my preference. There was no line in the afternoon around 2pm so that was a plus. Super friendly service as well. Coffee smells fantastic but I think the latte was a little too milky for my preference. This is also just a drive-thru coffee place, I don't believe you can go inside and sit. Also it is located across from a 7-11 if that helps. read more

Unfortunately updating my 5 star review after a series of disappointing visits. I've been going here weekly since they opened. The last 3 times I've gone I've gotten a cold coffee once and then twice my dry cappuccino didn't have any foam - not exaggerating. My guess is that with the popularity they hired quick and skimped on the training. Baristas are still super friendly and I love the small talk waiting for my order and the chocolate espresso beans are delicious. Got delivery from here and ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and honey along with a spicy sausage biscuit sandwich. Both were so good and matcha was not watered down at all. Also came with two free chocolate coffee beans which was a very nice and kind addition. read more

I try their hot latte on their grand opening day and it's definitely better than Starbucks. Quick drive through and I got a complementary chocolate with a discounted coupon on my next purchase. The service is consistently friendly. I love their Mexican mocha coffee and their maple waffle breakfast sandwich is delicious!

Fast service got the drinks and sandwiches quickly. The breve and latte were excellent. The ciabatta sandwiches were surprisingly good!

Love the drive-through-only concept (except for the fool in front of me who just parked his car in the lane without ordering blocking everyone). So I backed up out of the drive through lane, walked up to the counter and got a fabulous cup of coffee (drip) from some very friendly employees. And I was pleasantly surprised with the chocolate covered espresso bean on top! The only thing that could have made the experience better would have been a proper stir stick, because I bring sweetener with me since no one carries it anymore. The little stick that stops spills from the lid was sufficient, but I suppose if I wanted to stir in regular sugar, it would've been a challenge because it doesn't reach the bottom of the cup. First world problem, I realize. Highly recommend this coffee shop. I wish I lived closer. read more

All of it, I love all of it. The coffee is what I came for, just a nice breve latte which was done really well and accompanied by really good customer service. The line was long, very long, but it moved really quickly which was a relief because the whole point of the drive-thru is getting your coffee faster than it would take having to go inside. I wouldn't knock them a single star below five even though the latte isn't as full-bodied as I'd like, it was still delicious and hit the spot. read more

Very friendly staff, however I was a bit disappointed in the coffee as it tasted extremely watered down. But I will give 4 stars because the staff was just so sweet, friendly, and professional. Typically if I don't like the coffee, I won't return, but again the workers were so friendly and gave off such a welcoming vibe I will definitely give this place another try. This is the cutest new drivethru coffee joint! I always pass by The Human Bean while running errands so I decided to give in and try it. The process is really simple -- just drive up to the menu, order, and then pay and pickup all in one go. I've never been to a completely drivethru coffee place so I was surprised at how quick the service was even with a long line. Although it was freezing, I chose to get an iced almond milk matcha after hearing rave reviews about it. It was delicious! The matcha flavor was strong yet balanced. The drink wasn't bitter or too milky at all like the matchas I get at Starbucks (which I don't enjoy). And best of all every drink comes with a cute little chocolate covered bean! My sister got a hot chai which warmed her up. I will definitely stop by again since it's so convenient and quick! read more

absolutely love this place. the drive-up design is so quick and effective and the workers are super nice, not to mention the delicious covered coffee beans they give you with each drink. legit the best cold brew and matcha i've ever had, very worth the price. was going to try the turkey gouda cranberry sandwich but the oven was broken, which honestly ended up being a good thing because i tried the banana nut muffin top instead and it was so good. excited to have a reason to come back and get the sandwich next time. definitely give this place a try if you haven't already!! read more

First off the menu is very strange. The one star review is not because of that but I think it's odd that a coffee shop has very little coffee on it. The one star review was a because the 16oz americano was terrible. It was so watery it tasted like it was from a sink. I'm not sure how you screw that drink up but it was terrible. Tried this place for the first time and love the drive thru concept. I got an iced Snowy Mocha with a Croissant Sandwich. The drink was decent, a little on the sweeter side for my taste but that's just a personal preference. The sandwich was good for it's price! I'm so happy this is super close to where I live! I got hooked after the first try. I have been back several times now and ordered different drinks every time. The drinks I have ordered in the past were all great! The last drink I ordered was the frozen hot chocolate, and it was so yummy! I truly enjoyed that drink. I used to love the Human Bean.... The staff is friendly but lately I have been very disappointed with the consistency off this place. Every time I go I get the Java Chip.... & it's always different. The past two times they've made it without the chocolate syrup. Other days they'll add it but the taste is off. This past experience was so disappointing that I actually ended up going to Starbucks because my drink tasted like blended up chocolate chip water. It was obvious that when they were making the drink they added too much ice but for a 7 dollar drink you'd expect it to at-least have some sort of consistency. My husband and I loved the human bean since they opened! We go all the time, multiple times a week! But today's customers service was terrible! And the drinks were just as bad! I ordered a new drink they had advertised on a sign by the ordering window, which only said sweet and salty, nothing else, so I asked for it iced and the worked said that was fine and once arriving at the window the other worker rudely told the girl working at the window to talk to me about my order telling me I couldn't get it iced it was a blended only drink which I was like okay that's fine I would like to just change my drink order, and they wouldn't allow to they just kept saying I could only get the one I ordered blended which again I was like okay then I don't want it I would like a different drink and again they wouldn't let me and the guy rudely put the cup down and said then give it to her iced and then literally not a minute later handed me a coffee, which was no way enough tome to make it before my husband drink that they had already been working on and second what did they even give me if it wasn't possible to make it as an iced drink??? The drink they gave me literally taste like water with caramel drizzle. And on top of that while we're waiting for my husband coffee they are rudely talking about the situation and said while we're does it even say she can get it iced, completely rude and unprofessional, and were on the sign does it say only blended and why did your employee allow me to order it that way then??? Don't have rude employees and ones that don't know your menu. Again I didn't care that I couldn't get that drink iced I was happy to change my order but your staff wouldn't allow me to and I would love to know what drink they handed me if it was unable to get it blended. A complete waste and money and I will not be returning if that is how your customer service is! read more
