Today was the first time that I had very been to this Starbucks location and I found the vibe to be much less stressful than some of their other places closer to the city. There are a lot of spaces to do work, wait for your order, or just hang out. I saw one guy with practically a remote office just sitting at a table doing his work. Also there are no obtrusive codes to get into the bathroom, and everything here is much more down to earth. I ordered the venti size Punpkin Spice Latte and this would be expected for this time of year. It was ready in less than a minute and I was off to the races. The latte tastes the same than the one I had ordered last week so there's no change to the recipe here either. All in all, this location was decent and I would reccomend it if you are ever out this way. read more

Sad. Fallen to a level where I literally cringe to go here. I used to spend $2k a year here. I used to write the regional director and tell them how great this place was. Not?????!! You are bothering them. They seem much more interested in texting, hitting on co-workers, running in and out of the back room aimlessly, filling napkins...anything but helping customers and creating a friendly environment. Nope. They would rather insult u and make u feel stupid. Yeah, they are all SAT National Champs...order single shot espresso in tall cup w ice..fill rest w oat milk...'get the look' then 'we can't do that'...HUH??? i order this like maybe 80 times...takes two of them tellibg me they can't...then they finally figure it out and want to charge me $6.50....bahhahahhahahahhahja I say Listen, It has cost $3 the last 80 times I have ordered this...blank disinterested stare.....told them keep it....went home made my own. I hadn't written a review in a while, but I felt compiled to tell a positive story from my Wednesday. I was working remotely today and had plans in NoVa this evening and wanted to beat traffic from MD. Initially, I was heading to Leesburg for something, but I was waiting on a call to see if it was ready today or not. I got the call saying that it wouldn't be in until the morning; so I was near Great Falls at that point, and set up shop to continue working from the Starbucks. This Starbucks was huge! Perhaps the biggest one I've ever been to! Plenty of variety of tables in various locations. There was a long table good for groups, comfortable sofa chairs, and lots of tables good for one or two people. There were a comfortable number of people there on that Wednesday afternoon around 3 PM, but many Starbucks that # of people might've meant no seats. The cashier was friendly, and other person made my grande iced chai very quickly and offered me a straw, which I had already grabbed during that very brief period I waited. They were playing mostly good music generally 70's & 80's including Elton John, Escape (Pina Colada Song), and more. While diligently working, I noticed the skies get darker and darker. And then, it starts Monsooning. After Sara Smile by Daryl Hall & John Oates and part of Easy by Commodores, the power goes out from the storm! I was able to compose the email I was writing but was never able to send it; oh well, I will send when I go to the office on Thursday morning. It was off for at least 40 minutes that there was no electricity; I left to go to my evening plans in Arlington. The barista came over to see if people wanted any water or free iced coffee. I still had a little bit of my iced chai left; so I said no thanks. I was very impressed they would come around during this weird electricity outage. Also, the restroom seemed clean, but kind of hard to tell with a cell phone flashlight. read more

Love this Starbucks store. The staff is really friendly and always have a smile on their faces. They've got the place all decorated for the holidays and even have a decent size Christmas tree where people can leave notes on ornaments for the staff. The kids seem to enjoy making them and it also keeps them busy while you wait for your drink. I came in here on Thursday and they were having a happy hour special! I even bought one of their holiday cups which was very festive and you get a discount on your drink. I got a regular latte that was just at a perfect temperature. I added a packet of Splenda and it was just perfect. I like how their condiment section has two sides so you're not crowding the area while you're fixing your drink. I also got gift cards as gifts to our friends' children and to thank our mailman and American Disposal guys for doing such a great job and for making them feel appreciated during the holiday season. read more

It's super big with tons of seating and work space, a fireplace with comfy chairs, super friendly staff (at least on the weekends) and even a conference room! Also there are outlets everywhere! We went in and two people in our group didn't like our drinks and asked them to be remade if they could but understand if they couldn't but they agreed t make them but after asking for the second drink they in earshot were talking shit about us. And I COMPLETELY understand they're frustration and wanting to complain about us because we were being a little annoying but I just wish they didn't do it where we could hear them. I dont know what happened to this starbucks because they used to be on point. Today I placed a mobile order that came out wrong, once i realized i asked one of the persons if it looked right and if they could remake it. They were nice and remade it, however.... when i got home and started to take a sip, i came to the realization they had remade another completely different, plan, tasteless coffee. Okay, I know Starbucks is a huge corporation, and they don't need another review, but the layout of this space is really open and inviting. When I arrived, there were equal amounts of friends joining for a coffee as there were individuals just surfing the web on their laptops. Plus, there's sunny outdoor seating if you'd like! Docked points for the usual Starbucks drawbacks like overheated milk and overpriced items, but, I would happily conduct a job interview here. The ambience is nice. The "lightly sweetened" chai latte is still relatively sweet, so I do well to order a glass of water alongside my drink dilute the flavor. It's a winning combo. The lady at the till was chatting away with the previous customer as I waited to order my drink. The place is dirty & shabby. I have walked out in exasperation when I try to explain to the cashier and other staff, to give me a larger cup, since I have 2 extra shots of espresso to my frapachino and the cup is too small to accommodate the extra-so they throw the excess away. Usually I mobile order to skip the lineZ keep in mind that mobile orders print EVERYTHING on the label making it easier to fulfill an order and not relying on a barista's memory. The tables, chairs and floors inside the Great Falls Starbucks coffee shop are usually mostly dirty with litter, food crumbs, spilt coffee and the like. But today was really bad. Behind the cashier where the food and drinks are made, the sugar station and the conference room were all crummy and sticky. Chairs and tables throughout were all askew. There was a sign on one of the unisex bathrooms saying it was out of order. The bathroom without a sign should have had one also. It was a disgusting mess. Trash was strewn on the filthy wet floor and the sink was too awful to say. Even the walls were gross. This bathroom was the worst I've ever seen in fifty years of living. The employees use this to wash their hands? This is too much for this Great Falls resident to abide by. This place needs to shut down for a couple of days or more for a thorough cleaning and then not reopened until such time as they get management in that will run a clean operation. I don't understand the negative reviews. This is hands down the best Starbucks I've ever been to. And I've literally traveled around the world/states for decades. I don't think you can fault the establishment if you're not fond of the clientele. Yes, it's in an affluent area. Yes, affluent people talk to their other affluent friends about affluent things - if you want to be offended by this, I personally think you're shallow. But it is 2015 - the year everyone was offended by everything. I mean seriously, this Starbucks even has a "safe place" for you when you have your precious feeling hurt/offended. It's a conference room and it's pretty friggin' amazing. I do have to agree that the kids behind the counter need some serious work. It would would be good practice for this establishment to have an actual adult manager overseeing these kids at all times. Mostly, because they do get chatty with their friends who are there often just loitering and gossiping intentionally loud for all to hear. That said, I've always found the staff to be pleasant and accommodating and therefore still warrants five stars! read more

Not one of the better Starbucks around. It tends to run well when adults are there during the busy hours, but its all teenagers in the off hours. You get what you might expect in that case--lots of kids yakking about all sorts of things while the store itself is left dirty. Also, not too happy that one of the baristas dropped the F bomb in front of my kids when he spilled a drink the other day--he apologized but clearly he could have handled that situation differently. read more

I'm a big fan of Starbuck. I usually drink most everyday with tall size. And I paid for 3 extra shorts! In common sense you know I will get more coffee then I asked nicely to give me a bigger cup. Sometimes they do that for me but sometimes they don't. It make me sad the see you throw my coffee away. If you can't give me all the coffee so then next time do not charge me for an extra! I don't mind you charge an extra but please give me all my coffee. It not a cheap coffee from gas station! It pissed me off!!! read more

The decor is better than other Starbucks, they have more "comfy" seats than a lot of their counterparts but the staff is underwhelming, you aren't greeted warmly or anything.
