I enjoy this place because of their views and their drinks. It's a great spot during warmer seasons to sit outdoors and enjoy a good drinks and great views. The service is usually great. This is a 10-15 min walk from the subway station.

Best about this place is the ambience, it's on the marina. Beautiful outdoor spot. Service was ok, There aren't many food options. Some listed on the menu are not available. Drinks are pricey for brunch $18 for a small glass Pina Colada.

I always like to check out restaurants on the Hudson and this one definitely had a nice vibe to it. We went really early so it wasn't crowded at all. Got to sit outside to enjoy the view. Can't really say much about the food because I didn't order much but I'll be back for sure.. We did have the Pork Belly and Cajun Fried Shrimp. Both were really good! Kate was our waitress and she was great very informative and kind!

My job rented this place for an event and the food was okay at best (served buffet style), the drinks were watered down (which is understanding since it was a work event), the workers were overwhelmed by the amount of people there but at least they were nice. My favorite part about this place was the view so I feel like I need to come back when it's open to the public to try their made to order food and drinks and get a good sense of the place. I wouldn't recommend anyone to book this place for their private event (as imo that was an okay experience at best) but I'm open to coming back and seeing the vibes when it's open to the public.

The location and views here are five stars. It would be an awesome spot to hang out and get drinks, with ample covered and outdoor seating including patio furniture couch seating. Their frozen pina colada was probably the best my friends have ever had. Incredibly creamy and delicious. Afditionally, our server was great, friendly and attentive! But I can't give more than three stars because the food is just so sub par. We had the ceviche, which we didn't care for, it was just baby shrimp, and came with very stale chips. We also had the fried calamari, which was alright, just your average fried calamari from anywhere. Their baha fish tacos were very dry. Their mac and cheese lacked any flavor, just bowtie pasta in a milky sauce that came topped with unmelted shredded cheddar. The hot dog and onion rings were standard.

We came here a couple of times since the switch from La Marina. The first in 2018 was a blast. The second in 2019 was fun today we came in at 6:30 on a Wednesday and the place is empty. Should have left. We ordered two virgin Pina Colada for the kids. They wouldn't drink them. Said they tasted like a cross between Sprite and dishwater. Replaced them with Mountain Dew which was from the fountain and apparently no syrup. For dinner the lobster roll was old and stale. The casino clams has no flavor. You couldn't even taste the bacon. When can you not taste bacon? The mussels were dry and stale. My son had a shrimp boil. The shrimp was still frozen in the middle, the sausage - never saw that consistency before. The Birria tacos were bland and I added salt. Then I pulled a glob of fat out like I've never seen. Finally, mac and cheese. Tasted like milk. I don't know what happened here but I know why they are empty. Don't do it. You'll regret it. The view is pretty and no one was in our way!!!!

This is a fairly new establishment. I remember when this space was La Marina and coming here for a lit Yelp Elite event. The place is just as breathtaking with beautiful views of the Hudson River, lights strewn everywhere, and spacious outdoor seating. The menu is quite extensive, and I was debating between BBQ (ribs, of course) or one of the entrée plates. I finally decided to order a Combination Taco Plate, served with coconut rice and plantains. I selected 2 Shrimp Tacos, and 1 Corn with Mushroom Taco. The Shrimp Tacos consisted of shrimp, corn mango salsa, and avocado crema. This was delicious! The shrimp was plentiful, juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The Corn and Mushroom Taco included cotija cheese, and crema. This was also tasty. The vegetables were wonderfully fresh and cooked perfectly. All the ingredients combined together well to make for yummy bites! I really enjoyed the plantains, which were just the right amount of sweetness, soft, moist, and slightly charred. The rice was also great with strong coconut taste, as well as a nice consistency. My friend had the BBQ Rib Tips, so I got to try some and they were absolutely mouthwatering! These were house smoked and finished with homemade BBQ sauce. They were small morsels of incredibly tender, delightfully succulent, satisfyingly crispy, and deeply flavorful meat! Service was pretty good throughout our time. There were a few mix-ups when it came to the different sushi rolls that were ordered, but our waiter was eager to make it right. We had a lovely experience here. I would be open to returning to have the Coconut Shrimp and Ribs, but it probably won't be for awhile because I live quite far from this restaurant.

So excited they're back open. The vibes and drinks are awesome! Food was great. My Server Onika was amazing despite being busy! Will come back again

At long last after fifteen (15) torrid months of a pandemic, lockdown and closings the City of New York is resurfacing to normalcy or at least as close to normalcy as possible. Wary continues. Formerly known as La Marina which closed and re-opened as The Hudson. It is a waterfront lounge and restaurant consisting of very mediocre drinks and substandard detrimental customer service. There was only one measly bar tender name Jose C. to serve patrons and he was busy concocting drinks for other patrons ignoring my party of two until and inevitable ten minutes later. He did not acknowledge my party's physical presence with a simple "hi, how are you? I'll be right with you." After work to chill in hopes of expelling fifteen (15) torrid months of essential work in-person physically at the office, abject frustration, stress, utter anxiety and sheer exhaustion was rated MEH! My co-worker and I ordered: Watermelon frozen Daiquiri - $14.00 Truly a frozen delight which is a good cool down for a day's end of hot humid summer's day. Pina Colada creamy semi frozen - $14.00 Awful! It was not frozen nor served extremely cold and I had to request cherries from the bar tender name Jose C. who does not by default embedded as industry standard. Fresh cherries are part of this alcoholic drink! It was served with one piece of dried stale pineapple, but not fresh. Patrons flock to The Hudson mainly for the view of the Hudson River and the George Washington Bridge, NOT for the food, drink nor customer service. The staff discreetly, I believe, intake the view as well which is a big distraction to their work of servicing customers portraying a substandard detrimental food, drink and hospitality service level. There are abundant outdoor seating of couches, high chairs where patrons can relax and eyes affixed to the view of overlooking Hudson River. No comment on the food as neither I nor my co-worker intake any - as the reviews are accurate. I wither from despond - utter slough of despond. Dismay. Discontent. Disappointment. Note: NYC COVID-19 surcharge 3.50% is automatically affixed to one's bill.

Not my first time at The Hudson, definitely my first review. The raw oyster were fresh and delicious. My sushi spicy combo was great. The tuna poke bowl was great as well. Highly suggest these three plates. Despite a private event happening at The Hudson, the staff was great, attentive and explained to us in advance that all waiters/waitresses we first to let us know. One of the bartenders went as far as to ask me if I was ok with the food it was too much sushi for me to eat and insisted on talking to the manager to take off the bill. I had to stress the fact that it was great sushi and (sorry, forgot his name).

Got tired of the local diner and finally decided to see what they had going on. So far we've been back twice in two weeks! Tried for breakfast and got the croissant sandwich with bacon. Very tasty but a little overpriced in my opinion but I get it--inflation, blah, blah, blah. Next time we checked them out for brunch and were very pleased. They have a very cute patio in the back so I will definitely return in the summer time. Also, $5 mimosas during brunch and they were perfect ratio. Highly recommend.

When we arrived, we were greeted and seated by a lovely young lady named Nicole, who was extremely kind and welcoming throughout the situation. We placed our order: two Sprites, chicken tacos with fries on the side, and a penne alla vodka with breaded chicken instead of grilled chicken. I also requested a little extra cheese, fully understanding there may be an upcharge, which I have gladly paid in the past.   Shortly after ordering, a young lady named Naliska approached the table and stated, "The changes you want cannot be done. We can only make the order that is on the menu." I then followed with, "Me and my fiancé come here all of the time and I have never had an issue. I previously received an upcharge of $10." She then followed with, "We do not do changes to the menu and you will not be able to change anything."   My fiancé then asked, "Can I please speak with a manager or someone who is in charge?" She responded with, "There is no manager. I am the best you are going to get and I cannot approve your change."   I then explained, "I am pregnant and all I wanted is breaded chicken and a little cheese. This is honestly my favorite place and this is extremely disappointing. To think I wanted to have my baby shower here and I am being treated in such a manner is very disappointing. Your tone is very rude. If you are unable to fulfill my request, I would like to cancel the full order and me and my fiancé will just have to go." She then disclosed, "You can still have your baby shower here but I can't make the change."   My fiancé and I began to walk out when he approached the chef and asked if he was able to make the accommodation. The chef then disclosed, "Yes, it's just breaded chicken. I will speak to the young lady." My fiancé then told me to go back and sit because we could get my order. I walked back to my seat so happy because that dish was honestly all I was craving all day.   The sweet young lady Nicole came back to the table and asked, "Would you like for me to bring your Sprites?" I replied yes please with the biggest smile on my face. It was no longer than 30 seconds after we sat back down when Naliska began to shout while walking to the table, "AFTER A LOOOOONG TALK WITH THE CHEF I will put the order in but this will be the LAST time and we will be charging you $27."   I disclosed, "That's fine. I told you that the price did not matter and that previously before they gave me an upcharge of $10." Following that, she then asked, "What else is it that you wanted?"   I then paused in disbelief after processing everything and told her, "Please don't take this in any way, but I have been a manager in a restaurant for many years before my career and you are extremely rude. You did not have to reiterate what was already solved nor did you have to antagonize the situation after we already spoke with the chef. Your response, 'AFTER A LONG TALK WITH THE CHEF,' -- the correct way for you to relay the message should have been, 'Hey, the chef spoke with me and he said he can make the exception but for future orders I'm not sure if it will be accepted as our policy has recently changed.'"   I also disclosed to her that she needs to be retrained on how to handle specific situations if she is "the best I could get" when requesting a manager on site. My fiancé then followed with, "Your attitude and the way you are speaking is past a limit and I no longer want to have dinner here." He asked to cancel the order once more and as we walked out he disclosed to the chef that the young lady was extremely rude and that he was sorry but the order was no longer needed. He thanked the chef for his help.   The moral of the whole incident is that I have never experienced such mannerisms in an establishment before. Her tone of voice and the fact that no assistance was given even when we requested a manager or chef was extremely disappointing.   I think policies should be clearly placed on the menu if things have changed. Also, if that young lady is the one in charge when the manager is out, please make sure she is properly trained or at least having a decent day before handling customers in that manner.   The restaurant had no more than 3 tables occupied, making us the 4th table there. I would completely understand if the place was jam-packed and changes to orders would create confusion and chaos, but this was simply a chicken substitution (Chicken that is on the Menu). She did not even offer to check with the chef to see if the accommodation could happen. My fiancé had to take it upon himself just to simply ask.   Denying proper customer service and showing no willingness to assist loyal customers was extremely disappointing.   It is sad because this genuinely was my favorite quiet place to go to.

I have been treated very poorly at this place in the past, however the people of At The Wallace told me to go back because servers have been changed and Chad had improved the overall experience. Since I care about the folks at At the Wallace, I decided to give them a chance. The first thing was that the waiter, an apathetic hipster, changed my seat because I was seated in a table for four people, nothing outrageous or out of the ordinary, but then I see him separating the table to allow a couple to sit there. Which made me wonder why I didn't get that treatment, but whatever. I order a medium Spicetown USA burger and a Seltzer. A different waitress brings me the seltzer and basically drops it on the table spilling some of the drink on the table. She didn't apologize for the abrupt gesture, she just turned around and went back to another table. After waiting for 30 minutes for the burger, I call another waitress (this one was friendly at least) and ask the delay, turns out the original waiter didn't even put the order. She talks to him and apologized to me. The burger comes over, but well done, instead of medium. After the two bite check up, I pointed out to the waiter who LITERALLY shrugs and goes to another table. Despite not being my desired temperature the burger and the fries were very delicious, so I will give them that. However, the service here is unforgivably bad. I don't understand why, At The Wallace is right next door, the servers and bartenders are super nice and it's also cheaper. I don't think I will go back to this place again.
