From the moment I walked in, I felt the love the staff had for the dogs. Every time I go there, they greet my pups warmly, and any anxiety I may have about leaving them immediately disappears. The team has always been patient and reassuring with me, even when I've called during the day with little worries. I speak directly to someone who knows and truly cares about my dogs -- and that means everything. They listen carefully and they genuinely understand how much we all love our pets. I have read through many of the mixed reviews, and cannot comment on them specifically other than to say that in the many times I have exited and entered that building, I have never personally had a bad experience nor have I witnessed a bad experience. I have seen dozens upon dozens of entrances and exits of dogs in daycare and boarding and I always curiously watch the staff's interactions with the dogs and their owners. I have never been disappointed in seeing consistent, kindness, courtesy and care given in each situation. I feel badly people have had these negative experiences because they simply must have been the exception not the rule as I have never even remotely seen these types of situations. In the two years that I have left my two small dogs at Pet Paradise, Georgetown, they have never gotten sick nor been returned dirty. I am only a customer and have no " skin in this game." I just hate seeing hard working, caring professionals disparaged while some of these anecdotes are inaccurately making it seem like that's the way they conduct their business. I am a big fan of the daycare system. I appreciate that the dogs are given assessments before joining group-play and that trained staff are supervising them. The staff assists you on the best placement of day care and/ or boarding that would work for your dog. The cameras give me extra peace of mind. When I board them, my two pups stay together, upon my request, in a suite and always come home clean, happy, and perfectly tired -- always from a healthy balance of play and rest. The facility is clean and beautifully maintained. It smells fresh, is remarkable aesthetically, and it is impeccably kept on the inside and the outside. Addy (General Manager), Amanda (Assistant Manager), and the entire team -- Ariel, Nellie, Rose, and many other wonderful staff members whom I love so much ( too many to list) -- truly are the heart of this place. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine love for the animals , as well as their sensitivity and gentleness to me, has never gone unnoticed. I feel completely confident and happy leaving my dogs at Pet Paradise, and that peace of mind is priceless.

TL;DR - Groomer sliced my dog's dewclaw nearly all the way off with the clippers, and management…read moredidn't even apologize. To add insult to literal injury the grooming itself was completely awful. To start, we've taken our dogs to PP for several years now, and have normally had zero problems, but this incident is extremely egregious and needs to be addressed. We dropped our dogs off with the resort, Cara (our chiweenie) just for a bath and Fizzy (our schnauzipoo) for a full grooming. Fizzy's fur gets little mats in it all the time because the hair is so fine, and we brought that to the groomer's attention when we dropped her off. We also asked for a traditional schnauzer cut, just a bit shortened because it's so hot in Texas right now. Cut to a couple hours later and I got a call from the front desk, saying that Fizzy had been given a "slight cut" near her dewclaw and that the on- site very was seeing to her. No big deal, right? Then later the actual vet calls, and tells us that it was more serious than we were originally told, and that Fizzy has been given multiple staples to reattach the dewclaw, but that they had considered removing it fully because of the damage. I come to pick them up, and the vet walks me through the treatment, and brings out Fizzy. She was a completely altered dog, her lovely facial whiskers completely shaved down to the skin, ears trimmed to the very edge and a single-length simple shave overall. I was then directed to checkout, where the front desk girl had the audacity to ask if I wanted to tip the groomer, which was shockingly inappropriate. I was charged full price for the bath and grooming and sent on my way; never once being approached by management to offer even an apology for mangling my dog, much less offer any form of restitution. The attached pictures are what she normally looks like (pink bandanna) vs. the condition Fizzy was given back to us this time. Needless to say, our confidence in and reputation of Pet Paradise has been shattered, and we will be considering other options for grooming and day care in the future, unless significant changes are made. I strongly encourage other patrons to choose a different groomer than Maribel to avoid injury to their pets.

I cannot rave enough about Action Pack Liberty Hill. We have 2 great danes that are used to having…read morefamily home with them. We do have to travel frequently and Action Pack has become a 2nd home. We no longer live in Liberty Hill (we actually live 2 hours away, and do the drive and plan all flights around ensuring we can bring our boys here). One of our very first stays our older dane had a health emergency, we didn't even see the issue prior to dropping off and within a couple of hours we got a call from one of the staff and they managed that visit end to end for us. They got him to an emergency vet, stayed with him for awhile, then once he was hydrated and well did the driving to pick him up, and then adjusted his care for extra attention once onsite. Our two boys are vastly different in age and play needs, and pretty joined at the hip - they modify the play for our older boy, even when they have a yard full of dogs, they can tell when he's reached his limit and just needs quiet. They are so attentive to know that our younger boy was struggling without the other and got them back together again. Here we are 2 1/2 years later of using them soley and when we arrive our boys eagerly hop out of the vehicle and run in and then anxiously await to go back to play. We have used other places and have watched our dogs panic and put the brakes on and refuse to go through the door. They have absolutely never hesitated here. So grateful for the care and attention they place on our fur family!

I am extremely disappointed with our experience…read more Our dog is a very anxious dog, but she has never shown aggression toward people or other animals in our care. After boarding her this time (we've been customers there for years), we were told she displayed behaviors such as growling and was no longer welcome to return. What I find most concerning is that this facility also promotes dog training services, yet there was no effort to discuss what may have triggered her behavior, offer recommendations, suggest training options, or work with us on a plan for future success. Instead, we were simply told not to bring her back. I fully understand that any boarding facility has the right to make decisions based on safety concerns. However, anxious and fearful behaviors are not uncommon in boarding environments, and I expected a business that offers training services to have a more knowledgeable and supportive approach. As pet owners, we trust boarding facilities to care for our dogs during what can already be a stressful experience. Rather than feeling supported, we left feeling judged and dismissed. If your dog struggles with anxiety or fear in unfamiliar situations, I would encourage you to ask detailed questions about how those behaviors are assessed and managed before booking. We'll gladly be taking our business elsewhere and won't be back with our current dog or any future dogs.

Boarded our 5 month old puppy here for 11 days. Action Pack went above and beyond our expectations. They responded to our emails quickly and regularly sent photos of our pup. When we returned, our pup was happy and healthy. We now bring him for daycare once a week. He is SO excited when we drop him off in the morning and is happy and tired when we pick him up. Highly recommend Action Pack! UPDATE: this was supposed to be posted 10 yrs ago! I rarely use Yelp and only hopped on today to find a technician and saw this in the drafts. Well for 10 yrs we've been bringing our now 65-pound "Tibby" here for weekly daycare, birthday parties back in the day, and periodic boarding, and Tibby is still squeals when we turn into the driveway! When I picked her up, she was limping, and since that day she has not returned to normal: she does not walk, bark, or play, and her behavior has changed drastically. What concerns me even more is that, according to the staff, there is no evidence of the supposed incident that caused this situation. On top of that, my dog showed signs of having been medicated without my authorization. Customer service has been terrible. The secretary, Emilie, demonstrated a lack of professionalism by interfering with my communication with the manager, acting as if she owned the place. The way this case has been handled gives the impression that they are hiding information instead of providing clear solutions. My dog went from being a happy pet to a sad one with mobility problems after being under their care. For these reasons, I absolutely do not recommend this daycare: they showed a lack of transparency, responsibility, and proper care for my pet.

We went to a couple of places, one even where you can watch on an app that was closer to us, but when we went to visit the place, we did not like the "vibe" of the place. When we took a tour (just call, and they will let you take a look at the facility before hand) of Paws Landing, we immediately felt great! We had our puppy for an half day "evaluation" with Durenda, which also made us feel at ease. She is marvelous!!! When we picked her up from that, she went over everything she did, and how she thought our puppy would do. They had her in a small yard first and let our puppy feel safe before they had her with the other dogs. I really like too, how they have the dogs separated into "small dogs", " large dogs" and "very active dogs". She has a great team working with her, watching over them, and most importantly taking care of them all day. They will always send you a text and email to confirm your reservation, which is great. They go inside and outside to play all day. If they go "all day" they will get a 2-hour rest, so they get a break from all the fun! But, believe me, when you pick your dog, they will be tired when they get home, which is "good thing"! Pam will send you pictures later via text of your dog, which is great to see at the end of the day. Now, that my dog has gone for awhile, she gets excited when we get there, and she is excited to see Pam and her team when I drop her off. They took amazing care of him through the years and maintained his many medications when he started to slow down. He was placed with dogs who were at his speed and I loved getting to watch him on the webcams. We later adopted a new dog, who is very selective of who he likes...they were so patient with getting to know him and introducing him to camp. Now he loves it and pulls us through the door as soon as we arrive. We love that we can trust he's in safe hands and know he's having a blast. She just "gets" Bailey and is always coming up with new and different strategies to deal with Bailey's issues. I felt 100% at ease leaving Bailey with her while we were gone for Thanksgiving, and loved getting the daily updates, pictures and videos. Bailey is truly a different puppy than the one that arrived at our home a little more than 2 months ago. She went from a puppy who was scared of her shadow to one who is conquering fears daily and is so much more carefree. Our house is often a revolving door of kids and Bailey is really starting to enjoy the activity! I no longer have to introduce Bailey to new people outside fearing that she will submissive pee or need distance. Bailey may never be the most confident dog in the room, but she is happy and so much more comfortable in her skin now and we couldn't be more thrilled.
