Wow, this place is way more than what I expected. We passed…read morethis as we explored the area yesterday, and today with it being over 100 outside. We wanted a sweet treat. So, the wife, the dog, and myself all went to check it out. As we walked in, we saw candy, flavored peanut butters, chocolates, popcorn, fudge, and... ICE CREAM. This is way more than an ice cream store. It is also connected to a sandwich shop. She ordered a brookie, i had a regular key lime & lemon cheesecake, and of course we had a pup cup that had a milk bone stuck into it. Her brookie was tasty, she said she wished it had oreo cookies instead of chocolate chip - but she enjoyed it. My lemon/lime concoction was also tasty. I wish there was 200% more lime & 200% more lemon flavor, because i am a fiend for citrus. But it was still good. Lastly, the pup cup, she didnt say much... but she licked it across the floor - so im assuming she loved it. We will be back for sure to try some other snacks!

Murphy held down the fort after his coworker left and kept everything in the store running and clean. 5 star experience!

They only had eight flavors, but three choices of cones: cake, sugar, or waffle, all at the same cost. Once I finished my ice cream, I started looking around at the juke boxes lining the walls. The owner, Sally Jones, came out and started talking to us. The juke boxes ranged from models from the 1920s to the 1970's, and they all worked .Mrs. Jones talked about the different companies that made them, the differences in how they work, and the kinds of businesses that bought them, both in the past, and now. It was interesting and never felt like sales pressure, which was good because we have no interest in owning a juke box. But talking with Mrs. Jones and playing old songs on the juke boxes, which ran 5 and 10 cents apiece, was an enjoyable diversion and I probably spent more than 45 minutes in there. Mrs. Jones explained that she was a retired elementary teacher, and her husband is an over-the-road trucker who started finding and bringing home juke boxes. So they decided to set up this shop. She also sells a variety of retro candies and records, both 33s and 45s. If you have time to kill in Rocheport, consider checking this place out!

I asked the very kind (and patient) employee to surprise me with the custard flavor (they have chocolate and vanilla), and when I peeked back I saw her sneak a scoop of each in before whipping it up. The concrete was delightful, with a delicious, high-quality custard base and a perfect ratio of mix ins, with the fruit being ripe and delicious. The old school music had me bopping while I waited for my tasty treat, making it a truly enjoyable (and memorable) experience, in spite of the slight drizzle. I'll definitely be back!

That being said, maybe they understand their local client base better than me. Most of the froyo flavors were desserts when I went in yesterday, there was birthday cake, cheesecake, yellow cake.. Even the pistachio was "dulce de leche and pistachio," and you didn't pick up on pistachio. Was there even a sorbet or non dairy option? I think there was a citrus one. I believe the only fruit on the condiment bar were strawberries, pineapple?, and maraschino cherries. I think this place would rock the socks off the customer that wants chocolate chocolate caramel or some fudge nightmare. For customers that enjoy a lighter dessert, Lulus could do better.
