I cannot recommend Hugh highly enough! He helped us get our mortgage loan 5 years ago, and we are still blown away by the level of support he gives us. Even years after closing, he has continued to be there for us, always willing to answer questions, explain options and offer expert and compassionate guidance whenever questions or hardship arise. It is rare to find someone who cares this deeply about their clients' financial well-being well beyond the closing table. We are so grateful for his ongoing support and wouldn't trust anyone else with our mortgage needs! read more

Top notch service from Hugh Wang. My wife and I took a chance on Hugh a while back and we had no idea what we were going to get from him. Now currently, we have worked with Hugh multiple times and every time has been a wonderful experience with fast and efficient work. Hugh always manages to find the best prices for what our needs are requiring. He is well educated on the process and was able to answer any of our questions with ease and without him on our side we would have been way lost in the process. My wife and I will continue to work with Hugh whenever we are in need of his assistance and we 100% recommend that you do the same. read more

Hugh Wang and his team at The Home Loan Source is one of the best mortgage companies I've ever worked with. As a realtor I need someone that is available evenings and weekends to help me with my clients' offers and pre-approving buyers. I also need a lender that knows the ins and outs of today's complicated loan environment, and a lender that delivers on what he promises. Hugh fits the bill in all categories. I just used him to provide the financing for a buyer on one of my listings and not only did he close in 21 days as promised, but he updated me practically every day about the status of the loan. He is a breath of fresh air. I really appreciate that he is concerned about me growing my business and is always giving me prospecting ideas. I highly recommend The Home Loan Source for all my clients. read more

My wife and I are very grateful with Hugh for doing such a wonderful job in the refinance he did. He was very polite in answering our questions, cleared any doubts we ever had, and always guided us through every step in making the right decisions. He is an honest person --the numbers he stated in the start were the ones we ended up with; there was NO trickery, NO con-artist-type behavior-- and that is why I would recommend him to family members and friends. Thanks, Hugh! (: read more

Some transactions can be more challenging to deal with and could be time consuming for most part than the others BUT because of Charlie's professionalism and expertise in Home Loans. This issue doesn't stop or discourage him from guiding and helping all my clients until they get qualified for a loan. With that being said......... Hugh Wang was on top of everything from beginning to end! This was our first home purchase, and it was comforting to know that we had someone who was just as invested in the purchase as we were. Not only did he jump through hoops to make sure that all the documents were correct and signed, and that all requirements were met, but he also made sure to answer every crazy question we could come up with, no matter when we asked them. I can't even remember all the times I got a call or text from him late at night just to respond to a question we had asked, or to let us know he had some paperwork to push through, or to let us know how everything was going. He was working pretty much day and night. We seriously started speculating on whether or not he slept. But more than anything he was honest and up front with us throughout the whole process. He gave us advice on how to get the loan under the best terms, and with the best discount and rebate incentives. He also explained a lot of the smaller print stuff that most Lenders would just gloss over. And he did it with the patience and etiquette of a foreign diplomat. Five stars, two thumbs up, pick whatever accolade or phrase you want, we would recommend Hugh and his team to anyone who's looking for a Lender! read more

I'd recommend them to anybody buying a home, and will hopefully get to use them again if we buy again in the future. read more

Couldn't ask for better service! Hugh Wang was on top of everything during our loan process. The Home Loan Source was able to open and close escrow in only 3 weeks! This is our first home so we were naturally very anxious and nervous about the whole deal. Hugh made it as smooth and as simple for us as possible. What we appreciated most is that Hugh was very dedicated to our file...meeting with us on the weekends and working during the late evenings just to make sure everything is in place and that we would meet the escrow deadlines and requirements. While we were already approved with another loan company, I think we made a very good decision by working with The Home Loan Source. Many thanks to Hugh and his team. Excellent service! read more

I whole-heartedly endorse Hugh Charlie Wang for any home refinancing. Lenders are exceptionally bureaucratic these days, and the refinance process is a long, tedious one. Hugh facilitated all the information exchanges, helped explain our circumstances to the lender, and likely saved us from having to provide redundant/repetitive documentations. At the end, we got a very competitive rate, along with a very pleasant experience. He is knowledgeable, courteous, energetic, and thoroughly professional. I have done numerous financing and refinancing before, and I can say Hugh's service is by far, superior to what banks, or large 'cookie-cutter' mortgage agencies can ever offer. read more

Hugh and his team are one of the best mortgage lenders to work with. They were there for me every step of the way and walked me through it from beginning to end, twice! They were available day, night and weekends. Hugh is very thorough with any questions you have on how it works, which is a plus. He has a lot of patience and I wasn't easy to work with. I learned a lot from him. I moved here from New York so I wasn't familiar with California lenders and how they worked. Hugh knows his stuff. And if you ever step into his office, Galina will get you a cup of delicious tea while you are there. The Home Loan Source team will save you money on closing costs, another plus. Hugh is just awesome! He even helped me with things on my house that weren't related to the loan. I am definetely a satisfied and a happy customer. He took care of my woes and hurdles. I will be recommending him to my family and friends. I will also be coming back to him when I buy my next property. Thanks Hugh! Anna read more
