Alex Ortiz and his team are nothing but FIRST CLASS SERVICE! We have been trying to ReFi our home now for almost two years and we tried four other attempts. One with a Wells known, hint-hint, big bank, and another who was not so Quik-on there feet, hint-hint, if you know what I mean! The other two were small firms, but not one could help. When I filled out the form from Lending Tree online Alex called me about three seconds after I clicked "send" on the form. Right out of the gate I told him of my past experiences, but he said not too worry that he will "Get It Closed". At first I heard this from everyone else and I thought, "Oh boy, here we go again. It all went very smooth until the Lender starting beating us up towards the end over insignificant credit infractions, which were not even our fault, but when they did, Alex stood up for us and jumped in and spoke to the Lender directly or wrote them a letter explaining that we were good for this loan and they listened to him! Again, ALEX MADE IT HAPPEN AND WE CLOSED ON OUR 30-YEAR LOAN WITH THE LOWEST RATE IN THE HISTORY OF MORTGAGE LOANS!!! I've had trouble trying to refinance my home for almost a year so I've completely lost hope. When Ernest approached me via email/text about refinancing my home I told him thank you but I've been through this road before and it never turns out in my favor (i.e. bad credit, DTI too high, LTV not enough, co-signers can't be non-occupying). I tried so many places and was denied for flip flop reasons like one time good income and not so good credit than good credit but not enough income. I got financed it took some time but if you choose to do this I recommend the following: 1. Keep your records and all emails organize because you may have to send in several times. 2. Keep good communication with everyone 3. Do not apply for new credit while in escrow. Be patient. 4. Do not be afraid to ask questions and get everything in writing.
