I came all the way to this Home Depot because all the HD by me were out of stock on what I was looking for. It was great to see almost all the employees wearing mask and wearing them correctly. The majority of customers were wearing them as well. The store is nicely stocked. The lay out is a little awkward to me, though. I had to ask several (5)HD employees where to find a few items. The reason I had to ask "several" is because none of them knew where to find anything. I was sent to the wrong place 4 times! Only one of them sent me to the right place. Also, I had to ask 3 of the employees to wear there mask correctly (over their nose) so they could help me. What should have taken me 10 minutes to pick up the few items I needed; took me 1 hour! I don't think I will be returning to this location due to the employees had no idea where anything was located. The Cypress location is much better; they just need to get more stuff in stock. I spent over $200 on renting a box truck multiple times during a week. The next week I downsized to renting the cargo van. The thanks I got for patronizing this business was being accused of causing damages to the truck, basically interrogated about why I needed it so much and how come I hadn't finished the job already!!! Seriously!?! I'll spend my money where the company appreciates my business. I explained to the "worker" that I didn't cause the damage and I have proof. ANYTIME I rent ANYTHING I do a full video walkthrough cause I'm from the school of C.Y.A. I showed him the video the second time I came to pick up because obviously they didn't do the duties required for vehicle check in before my first rental since I was accused of the damage. If they'd simply done their job the damage was large enough for anyone with two eyes to see from across the parking lot. So obviously the person who checked in the box truck didn't document the damage. Still now days later, renting another vehicle for the 4th time over a ten day period I'm being harassed about damages I didn't cause and asked why I keep needing the rentals! ALWAYS document everything when you rent stuff from anywhere. Trust me, I'm almost certain they'll be calling my insurance and I'm glad I have documented proof of video with time stamps proving I couldn't have caused the damage. Cabnet design department. "Amy" in this department did not stay on top of our project, a very small "wet bar", and from beginning to end, this project took 7 month's. Several third parties did different parts of the install, ie, from delivery to installing each particular section of the project, to include, but not limited to initial design at the store, of which "rendering" was a silence experience for us, the customers, while we sat there waiting for "Amy" to make the CAD drawing (one hour, with barely any words exchanged - this occurred on three occasions or 3 hours - my time means nothing to them); to "Stephen", the store chosen vender to come out measure the space, etc. (Not accounting for very specific details, such that after install, exposed wires to its overhead lights remained exposed and strewn about inside the overhead cabinets (he was very well aware 120v lines, for 12v lights, showed its wires were exposed to be plumbed at the time of measuring!). To accounting for the proper location of the water source (for sink) on back wall inside lower Cabnet (not aligned in wood Cabnet). Delivery of cabinets were a confusing ordeal, as this third party damaged our new floor, and they were certain a Cabnet box was missing upon delivery. To actual Cabnet installer who misaligned door handles (even though home owner insisted he use a stencil; he declined because he was a "seasoned installer", and all of his stencils were wore out). Next was the granite top installer who did a lot of damage installing the granite, to damaging wall framing, chipping the granite, and removing an electrical outlet thereby shorting out an electrical phase on the breaker box. At no time did "Amy" reply to my emails, ever, and her text replies were often delayed by a week! All this being said, never did the store manager neglect to right this wrong (but after the fact); but unfortunately the entire Cabnet would have had to be ripped out to do most of the bad installation. In leu of actually repairing or replacing items, he offered a cash return on our purchase, which was forthright of the store to do. At no such time did "Amy" make any apology. In my opinion she has too many customers to give any attention to detail or properly interface with her customers (her time was way too important for us). I felt we were there for her, instead of the other way around. Granite installer returned to repair all damages. Door handles were realigned well after install, rectifying their mistake. "Stephen" never returned to update a more accurate measurement, which was very unfortunate and could have led to fixing these items before they occurred! My advice is to avoid using her at all costs. A 30 year Home Depot employee should be better at her position! read more

Mr. Benny has helped us multiple times in the lighting department and has blown us away with his customer service. Always has a smile on his face and seems eager to help. He even price matched a ceiling fan that was out of stock for the next model up. read more

The store is clean, convenient, carries everything I need for my home improvement But....Home Depot is slowly losing its charm. I come here quite many times since I am constantly working on new projects for when the Spring arrives. If I don't come and walk-in to shop, I do order online so I can just walk in to the customer service desk and simply pick up what the associates picked up for me. Now, I get it that when I walk in the registers is my last stop however...I HATE SELF-CHECKOUT!!! Such an inconvenience! You know what other Home improvement store actually has a cashier!?....Imma let you figure that out! Self-check out is a huge inconvenience especially when I just want to go in and out. Just when I think I have managed to master the self-checkout, the computer asks me to "wait for assistance"... like seriously!? Do I need assistance every single time I walk in!? I really wish that they have cashiers in order to make my purchase easier but since they don't and as a loyal card holder I figured, "HEY, WHY WON'T I SIMPLY ORDER ONLINE AND JUST PICK UP?" HA HA HA well my friends, I have bad news..... I ordered some supplies for my front yard early in the morning so when I get there in the evening, they'll be ready so I can go home, unload and start my nightly routine to work on it the next day. I get to the customer service desk (and of course ONE cashier) I had my ID in hand, my e-mail and my cart ready just in case I needed it to load it and head to my car. NOPE!!! Cashier had to contact an associate from gardening to ask him to gather my order together which BTW, I had received a notification at 9:39 AM that my order was ready to pick up! The time I arrived at was 7:27 PM and my order was not ready by any means. Just when you think that your trip was going to be short they managed to still somehow have you spend 30 minutes. After the associate gathered it which was nearly 8 PM he was nice enough to load it. I was still not pleased since it was probably quicker for me to walk-in, stroll around the store gathering my supplies and going to the self-checkout (which again, I DO NOT like) and leave before I ended up leaving. Will be contacting customer care since their "convenient" store pick up is a major bust at this location. If they keep failing in this, I would much rather take my business to Lowe's where they actually have cashiers. read more

False advertising on their app regarding tool rental. Wanted to rent the hard floor cleaner, showed their app to the sales rep and she told me they didn't carry that specific one. They had something totally different that cleans but does not soak up the water. You have to mop it up! She blames corporate for advertising this obviously. For Home Depot, this one is nice. It's clean, well laid out, the staff are quite helpful and friendly - a stark contrast from the ones neighboring. Loved the fake grass in the parking lot. Low maintenance, but high curb appeal. Not one single other location have I seen any form of landscaping. LOL! Good look HD! I'm glad to have another one to choose from besides 1960 & the one on 45. This one will be my go-to from now on. If you're in the area, I'd recommend checking it out! read more

Purchased a dishwasher, waited a week. Installer and delivery personnel showed up with a dented dishwasher. Waited two more weeks for a new delivery and the two brawny men wouldn't get down on the floor to unscrew the metal legs so it could be pulled out my husband 68 and me 65 are on the floor trying to unscrew the legs. AND in the meantime told us this dishwasher is going to stick out an inch or so past your cabinets. Why didn't the salesperson tell us that, per the installers " because they don't know that." Because they wouldn't help us get the old one out and we had taken up too much of their time on the delivery call they just took back the new one and put in for a refund. Which according to the store manager will take 5-7 days. I will not use that store again. Poor products on arrival, delivery personnel who would rather see you struggle rather than lend literally a hand. Customer service is horrific, go ANYWHERE but here. If I could give no stars I would but it wouldn't let me post the review without it. read more

Multiple visits and literally thousands of dollars have been spent at this particular HD over the past year and a half. Their employees there are exceptionally rude and useless. After my experience two days ago, I won't be back, even though it's the closest Supply store to me. I have watched employees ignore myself and other females looking for a particular tool in the tool section while male employees sit and carry on non work related conversations. I've watched them convert the bulk of their check out to self serve, which usually has 1 or 2 employees monitoring them, but again, those employees were too engaged in chatting to notice one or more paying customers who needed their assistance. The other day, I was on a mission for wood putty. I went to the aisle it is located and there was a forklift blocking the section I needed to access. I stood waiting for the two employees to acknowledge me, so they could possibly help grab the item I needed, but they were oblivious to my presence, even though I stood there - 10 feet from them, for a good 2 minutes. I finally gave up, and told them they needed to provide better customer service than this! On my way out the store I passed by the paint department and I asked them in an irritated and frustrated tone if it was really necessary for the two employees to block the aisle so they could chew the fat. The exceptionally rude "curly headed male" behind the counter said "Yep!" I stopped in my tracks and looked at him and asked again, thinking he must not have heard me correctly and asked him directly again if it was acceptable. He said "yep, that's what I said". It was the tipping point on the scale for me with this store and I said, "if that's the way you treat customers I'll take my business to Lowe's". He said "Good!" There were two other people at the counter with him working in the paint section and neither one said or did a thing to either explain to me why the gentlemen were blocking the aisle, or offered to get me the item that I needed, or apologize in anyway shape or form. We refused to go to this store for over a year. We even opened up Lowe's cards and drive the extra 20 minutes because we hate playing the role of cashier. It can easily take an extra 10 minutes when your items don't ring up or require an override. But my husband and I ran in for 1 thing. and they actually had 2 registers opened and an employee who was actually scanning items through the self checkout. read more

I will not be spending my hard earned money from the clinic I work, at a place who won't enforce rules that protect their customers and employees. I wouldn't write a negative review unless extremely provoked to do so. I have lived in the area for about 24 mos and since purchasing my home, have become a 2-3 x per week customer at this a particular HD. Not because it was great, but because it was closer than Lowes or Ace. If I were to lowball my guess, I've spent at least $8000 in that time, at this store. Tile, supplies, outdoor lights, toilets, sinks, drywall, plants... t And the list goes on and on. I have encountered at least one or two rude (they ignore customers waiting for help, to discuss life with coworkers) employees on nearly every visit. Waiting in tue tool area to get help with an item to be completely blown off and ignored by the two employees who apparently don't believe women belong in the to section. Or employees chatting at the self check areas while three or four customers are patiently waiting to get their computer cleared or some other issue. Final straw was last week, when I came in seeking a particular item in the paint dept. There were again, two employees chatting it up, completely oblivious to myself and another customer who was waiting for help. After a full minute, they glanced up, and then turned and walked the opposite direction!!! I went to the paint counter to ask if there was anyone who could help both of us, as we were completely ignored by the two previous workers. The kid at the paint counter didn't even look up and said something to the effect that no we were not going to get helped, because we were rude. I looked st the other customer who I didn't even know 5 minutes prior and they threw up Their hands and left. I did the same. I told the rude young man who said what he said, that the customer service here is non existent and I will not spend another single penny here. His response was Good! Someone really needs to wrangle in these laid employees and teach them what customer service is all about. They've lost one really steady customer forever. read more

Worst customer service ever! I was there to buy an expensive chain saw. They are locked. We walked a total of 7 aisles looking for an employee. I finally called the store to ask them to send someone. The operator said they were "all on the floor helping customers" (not a our end of the store). She called over the speaker and I saw a kid strolling toward us from the back of the store. He walked up to us and never spoke. We told him what we needed to buy and he said they were out of stock. Never apologized or asked if there was anything else he could help us with. I have been waiting for Home Depot to open a store in this area for a long time. I have had wonderful experiences with H-D stores all over Houston. I expected this store would be the same. I was WRONG! The floor personnel lack knowledge of products (location and usage) and the cashiers are absolutely rude. They come off as entitled and that I should be lucky to shop there. Until better training and/or employees are in place, I will not shop there. Lowe's, Spring Hardware and Ace Hardware you have my business. Do not buy the protection plan for appliances. I have been trying to get my washer fixed for 6 weeks. I keep calling them and every time they give me a different answer first parts were ordered then parts were out of stock. Then wait another week for approval to be bought out. After the week oh they say they found the parts they would be delivered in a week. Today I called and they said parts were delivered 03/04 but appliance repair place said not they haven't received them. So I call back and now they told me they don't know why they told me parts were ordered because they are out of stock and can't be ordered. So again wait another 48 hrs for a manager to look into it. read more

They have an employee going around wearing a mask and face shield harassing people for a survey to potentially win a Home Depot gift card. I told him I was not interested three times and he was essentially causing a scene mumbling aggressively at me through the mask so I couldn't even really understand what he was saying. BEWARE OF HOME DEPOT'S False Advertising online. They advertise a base for an LG washer. It says free installation upon purchase. Don't be fooled by their false advertising because they will come back and tell you, and by the way the supervisors name is JILL, that it only applies to new installs. So anyway I am turning them over to the federal trade commission, my legal counsel, and I am finally complaint with the federal trade commission for illegal and false advertising to entice a consumer to purchase something for free and then turn around and charge them $75 for an install. Honestly, this store is great. I'm in here way too much. It's clean, organized and the vast majority of staff are attentive and friendly. For those people complaining about self check out, and how they should get a discount for using it, how ridiculous. I've used their self checkout dozens of times and never had an issue. My only gripe, I don't find it professional when a cashier is playing on their phone as you approach them or as they are checking you out. It happens way too often. read more

If it's service you're looking for, go somewhere else. I arrived at 8:20 parked by the garden section and picked out the potting soil I wanted. All they had was baskets, I have a torn rotator cuff and can't do too much lifting. I walked to the front door to get a flat car and pushed it back to the garden section and loaded my potting soil thinking the door might be unlocked by then. I asked the girl inside why the doors were locked since it was 8:25 and the sign said they opened at 8:00. She said she was waiting for a cashier to come unlock the doors. I pushed the cart back to the front and went inside. Since I had to go in the front door decided I would get small storage container. In the place where the container was, was blocked by the portable steps and a Male and female employee. I don't know what they were talking about but their faces were literally 6inches apart. They were so involved they didn't realize that I was trying to get to the area they blocking. I went to the front to check out and the only registers open were self serve. There was a young girl at a register and young boy at the next. I wheeled in and the girl asked if I needed customer service and I said I needed to pay for this stuff and the only registers open were self serve. She didn't want to do it but she checked me out.
